      Wow! What a dream

I had the most bizarre, wonderful, and realistic dream that I have ever had. First let me say I am in a happy relationship which makes the dream seem weirder to me. Here it is. I am hoping someone could help explain what it means.

I was at this crowded event, like a concert or something. As I was walking throught the crowd of people I saw this man that I recognized. The crowd pushed me past him but he came back for me. He pulled me out of the crowds where we could see all the people sitting in stadium style seats waiting for the event to occur, In my dream, I knew him. I felt as if he was someone I always wanted to be with but never had the chance. The weird thing is that he has a strange familiarity. It is as if I really know him in my real life. I am certain he is someone I know or will know if that makes sense.
Anyway, he pulls me to the side and tells me to look at this girl sitting in the stadium. He asks if I see her and asks if I think she is pretty because she is the prettiest girl he sees there. I agree with him but was kind of puzzled by the question. He then says "do you know how much more beautiful you are and how long I have wated to tell you that". He then touches my face and begins to kiss me. When he started kissing me he started thrusting his tongue in my mouth. I started panicking because I didn't know what to do. I stopped for a second and told him that I don't think I am a good kisser. He then tells me you're fine but we could practice more. We kissed for a while until eventually the concert started and we had to take our seats. I then woke up. Like I said this dream was so realistic, maybe one of the most realistic I have had. I know it was a dream but now I am wondering about him because like I said I really feel this man is real.

may seem a random question, but perhaps releveant; what kind of spirituality are you into?

well of course its very difficult to give an interpretation that is accurate. But your dream may mean lots of things. Often I just try to just translate dreams into thoughts.. they can translate into simple day to day thoughts processes... many deams are like this.. maybe your dream means this "I just know that there is someone out there for me.". Its not capturing reality... merely the reality of your own feelings
However. I am not a total sceptic. I have had dreas like this. Dreams that I knew to be prophetic. That later turned out to be true. its difficult to prove it. But I do believe in premonitions and telepathy.
So really you can take your pick. Yet the dream will only have one meaning. It could be either of them.

The father of modern dream interpretation is not Freud or Jung but rather Jon Winson. But he never made a single dream interpretation. Instead he conducted research into the mind and established that certain brainwaves (theta waves) only appear during the night time. During the day we store up all new experiences and feelings in short term memory. Then at night we start to work through what happened the previous day and we integrate these into long term memory blocks. Then finally we clear short term memory blocks ready to start the process again the next day. Its likely that any dreams we have are linked to these brain functions. The weird images and feelings once deciphered capture our own feelings and new insights into the world around us. So the dreams then will often link to specific events from the day before and to new ways in which our world has been reshaped. It may simply link to our paranoias and fantasies. If we are focused on something about to happen in the near future then the dreams may link to that. Each dream captures one specific feeling or thought process.
