      A Parade and the Devil

      Hi everyone! First of all, I am new to the Dreamviews forums. I came here because so far other websites have not been able to interpret my dreams. Anyway, so here goes.




      It starts off with me watching a parade march past. At first, the mood is happy and good, but soon it is no longer a normal parade with children, celebrations, and floats. For some reason a walk into the middle of the road and just stand there, unmoving with my arms folded. It is at this moment that three hideous midget looking creatures just walk right past me without harming me. Their eyes were an eerie bright reddish-yellow. Next, what appears to be the devil comes walking my way. He was a bright red with horns and a pitchfork(the classical description) but instead of having two legs he had eight legs like a spider. He has a sinister grimace on his face. As he approches me, for some weird reason I just stood there and smiled at him.
      The devil/spider did nothing but walk straight past me, followed by two huge and gross looking worms. That was the end of the dream. Any insight on what this might mean given the fact that they did not even bother me?

      Often key moments in a dream will relate to real life events. Ogten they will capture your reaction to something that has just happened. Or they may show how you are reading things into the behavior of others. Think about this quote above. What does it make you think of from yesterday

There is a tendency to see dreams as premonitions and the terrible things happening as omens for the future. yet such dreams can often be about the reality of our own feelings. We feel as if we are being chased by dogs. We feel as if we are on top of a skyscraper and about to fall to the ground. So such dreams are often about mundane and simple situations that at the time we exxagerate in our minds. So a skyscraper dream could simply link to some situation where you had your confidence tested.

      Hmmn, nothing in particular happened yesterday. However you could be right as far as reading into the behavior of others. I wonder could it mean that I am decent towards nice as well as bad people I know despite how rude they may be. That's all I can think of.

      perhaps..?

      Im no expert, but the fact that you can stand toe to toe with the devil and simply hold his gaze and smile seems to suggest that you have reached a stage of will power where you cant be beated, tempted or tested? Have you recently achieved a personal goal or resisted something very tempting?
      just thoughts.
