Recurring dream of packing

Hi. My name is Kara. I would really appreciate your help with a recurring dream i am having. I have this dream between 4 and 6 nights a week and have been doing so for about 1 year. The dream always starts where i am having to leave somewhere. It is mainly about having to leave university (which in actuality i did about 6years ago), but the main crux of the dream is not about where i am leaving but rather the fact that i have to gather my belongings in time to leave. In my dream i can never collect my belongings together in time for me having to leave. In my dream i get in such a panic whilst gathering my stuff together, and when it comes time to leave i have to leave without some of my things. I get really distressed and can't get over having lost so many things. Sometimes i wake up and still feel that dreadful feeling. Please help me figure this out as the dreams are becoming more frequent. A few personal details in the hope they help:
28 yr old female. Living with male partner of 10 years with a 10 month old daughter. We also work together in a family business run by my partners father. I have few close friends now as i moved cities to be with my partner approxiamtely 3 years ago. I also cannot seem to commit to anything (other than my partner!), as i have a terrible tendency of flitting from one interest to the next without actually acheving anything. I really can't think of anything else to say about myself that may help as i am sure any other mother will know we don't really get much time to ourselves outside of work and household chores! Thanks for reading this and i really hope you can help and point me in the right direction to unravel this dream.

It sounds like an insecurity dream. I suspect you did not feel ready to leave University when you finished and it may have been very scary for you to go into the real world.

You say you have this dream everytime you have to leave somewhere, then I suspect you are reliving your feelings of insecurity.

The packaging could be symbolic of you trying to make sure you have everything together the things you need to take with you, again feeling unprepared
