Very strange dream...

I'm not exactly sure what happened, or what was really going on. But in this dream it felt like someone was telling me something. There was a voice that was speaking to me in the dream. It almost felt like a message of some sort... The only part of the dream I remember vividly was the end. I was somewhere I'd never been, and no idea where it was. It was very dark and the voice was telling me that it was then "going to show me something that was far more important than I could ever know" either pertaining to my own life, or even humanity in general... It's not really clear which. But it was supposed to be really important, and also very secretive. Almost as if I was one of the very few who would have ever had the chance to see. Myself and this person (I will assume it was a person, I never saw them) approached in this dark place, what appeared to be something like a closet door. The door had a handle that you pulled sideways and it just slid open. At this time for some reason I felt terrified, and curious at the same time. What I saw shocked me, because I just couldn't understand what it meant. Inside of the doorway of this door I saw what appeared to be some sort of very old, antique armoire or either a very strange looking and large standing radio of some sort... not too sure exactly of what it was. It was wooden, and had a cross-hatch like sewing or pattern that ran down each side of what look like the two doors of an armoire, in a fadded yellow and orange pattern. It looked about about 7 or 8 feet tall. The object just looked creepy to me, and it felt like I had seen it before, or maybe like was going to see it in the future. Also, sitting on top of it, was a burning candle, in a candle holder. I sat there, just looking at it when all of the sudden I felt that there was noise being generated by it. This noise was building up and getting louder, I almost felt like running. Then suddenly I hear what sounds like the crash of someone hitting drums... an extremely loud noise. This noise woke me up. I seemed to know when I woke up that the noise wasn't real, and that nothing had made it. It was about 5:40am and nothing was going on in the house... I couldn't quit thinking about the dream for several minutes until I drifted back off to sleep... This is one of the strangest dreams I've ever remembered having... I just can't imagine what it would mean, if anything...
