Re-occuring dreams involving man shooting another man, point blank..?

Hey everybody,
I was trying to figure out why I keep having this dream.

In real life, I have this man that comes into my work (who I honestly don't know from a hole in the wall, except his name and some more about him..but that will come later.) Recently, I was making conversation with him at the bar (I work @ a restaurant thats where he sits..every..day..without fail even though he does NOT drink.) and he gave me a pamphlet, that is from a church, saying that you will make it to heaven, etc that you get from a Church. Well, this is when the dreams started.... (after this encounter) He looked at me when i was talking to him, and tol dme I should have it.

In my dream, I am outside of my home, there are 3 men in the street, what seems to be like they are arguing. I can't hear them, but I can see them yelling. One of them is this man mentioned above....whos name is Gary. Gary all of a sudden, whips out a HUGe gun, and point blank shoots this man RIGHT IN THE FACE and kils him. After this, I am watching this all from my porch and I start screaming "ARE YOU F**IN CRAZY?!!?!" and all of these things, i start shaking and I get really upset and start to cry as I ball on the phone to the 911 operator.

After this, I always always wake up once I hang up the phone w. 911. I don't get it and Want some help, whats this mean? Why this man? why is he killing someone?


All I know via what my boss has told me about Gary is that he once was a joyful, great guy. He fell into a depression once his wife left him and started to go on MANY drugs aka anti depressants, and he now is a completely different person. He mopes around, doesn't talk much, and looks completely depressed/sad etc. My boss said "I don't even know him anymore" They have been friends for 20 yrs.

Any ideas? someone let meknow. I am putting this in my dream book.

So your only proper contact with him is this one time in the bar? Do you think maybe its a dream about evangelism, or that your brain has just adopted him for a symbol of something, possibly based on appearance. Its possible that your brain is just using him because you don't know him very well, and its trying to get a symbol for "acquaintance".

Yeah, honestly my only contact ever with him was last week when he gave me the "god pamphlet", and everyday if he comes in, I say "Hey gar" thats the extent of the convo. I think you could be right, I guess what my other question is why it keeps re-occuring? Atleast 3 times now, same exact thing every single time. Hmmmm?

Well people do not have to stabnd for themselves in dreams. They can be an archetype. This is similar to a stereotype. This guy gary could stand for someone who is trying to push his own beliefs upon you. Maybe a similar situation or moment happened the day before where you felt someone was behaving in a similar pushy way

I guess its recurring because there's something important about it. You need to find out what this is. I can't know your mind.

Ask yourself how the dream makes you feel, look at different parts. Think about the guy and the person being shot. Write out each symbol and think about what it means to you. That will help with interpretation.
