I could not talk

I read for probably an hour on my couch, and I got tired and took a nap right there. I had a normal dream, and then I woke up (false awakening) and so I grabbed my tape recorder (even though it was in my bedroom, not where I was sleeping) to put the dream in, and I could not talk. I opened my mouth, and I was straining to talk into my tape recorder to put down the dream, but all that came out was air. I felt confused and I was straining very hard, but nothing. It's actually the second time that's happened.
I'm 16 years old, and I suppose lately, I've been stressing out slightly because school is starting in like 2 weeks. I've also been wanting to get into a relationship with a girl, because I really haven't cared until lately but only because my friends around me are getting girlfriends, and I'm left out. My parents are making me study a lot for the SAT's, which I guess I've been slacking off on. I definitely spend too much time on the computer, and I've recently decided that I'm going to minimize it from now on, because the time I spend on the computer could be better spent doing something such as reading, or studying, or finding hobby (and that's like over 6 hours a day). I guess what inspired that is recently I've been doing things that I really shouldn't do, and it kind of made me think of how my life would be in the future if I continued versus doing something productive. Well hopefully it's one of these things.
