This is my take- it's pretty straightforward...

The house represents your psyche and water represents the unconscious. So it seems to me like there is a lot of subconscious content coming up right now and you find it frightening. The shops might also represent this 'new content'. and the fact that when you looked back your house/psyche had changed and become unfamiliar.

I know this doesn't really give you anything specific, but I guess you might be going through a lot of changes in your life or maybe you been putting off dealing with some issues for a while?

have to agree but think it shows the dependance you have on your husband, maybe there is a fear of change, at some level you are worrying about how dependant you are and the what if, syndrome of what if you had to fend for yourself

Seems like anxiety. Did you drink a lot of fluid before bedtime?
