Thread: volcano dreams

the other night i had a dream. everything was black and white except for the volcano and lava. my two best friends, mikey and beth, and I are standing at the top of the building. (in the dream, mikey and i are dating, we aren't in real life. i've had another dream a couple nights ago where i was dating him. he and i are very different and it would be awkward dating him because i've known him for so long) mikey and i are holding hands and beth is standing to my right. were looking out the window and see the volcano rise up out of the ground and just start spewing lava. we start running out of the building and i lose mikey and beth. i freak out because i lost my phone and can't get ahold of them. i find my dad, brother, sister and aunt at the train station. we buy tickets to get out of town, but we end up being in a car with my dad, sister, brother, and then my mom is there, but she's mexican and pregnant. (my parents are actually divorced) before we leave the station, beth and mikey show up with my phone and we get separated again. the water pipes keep bursting from the heat and the sea levels are rising from the lava filling up the bottom of the sea. (i live in the midwest, nowhere near a sea.) the streets are flooded and our car becomes a boat, and it can also become beds. we're trying to get to higher ground. it was like it was the end of the world. it wasn't just my town being destroyed. this was happening to the whole world. i get my family to safety, and then pretty much abandon them to find mikey and beth. i remember finding them and then waking up from the dream. and everything was just so real and i woke up with a tight feeling in my chest and exhausted. anyone find any meaning?
