Low lighting
Im trying to figure out why all of my dreams are dark. As far back as I can remember my dreams have always been dimly lit, all of them. It doesnt matter if its the middle of the day in my dream, its still dark. What is this about and how can I change it?
Thanks.

You haven't said that it's a problem, so I say if you don't mind, go ahead and leave it dim. If you don't like it, however, or if there is an increased rate of 3vil monster things, you could always try finding a light switch or a dimmer switch, maybe find a computer and set display to Bright. You might even try just willing it to be lighter, or yelling t someone behind the scenes to increase lighting. Are there any techniques you commonly use to change a dream?

Thanks for the reply. I guess you are right. I don't mind that my dreams are dim and I havent even noticed it until I started reading other peoples dream journals and how they dream of the sun and things being bright and so forth. Its not so much a problem as Im just curious as to the why of it all.
Ive always been into my dreams and have pretty good recall and have had numerous lucid dreams, all without intention. However, its just recently that Ive began trying to do all this stuff intentionally. So, thus far I don't have any methods I use to change a dream.
I love this place. So full of tips and ideas.

Glad ta help.
Since you don't use any particular technique, I would suggest just trying to think things into changing, or telling the dream to change. If you have problebs with that, there are tutorials on stabilizing dreams all over the place, and I find it easier to use a focus to change dreams, like an amulet or spell scroll or control keypad.
Hope that helps, and welcome to Dreamviews!
