Holding door so people couldn't get in

I remember I was in my apartment with my mum and there are 2 people trying to push the door down and I was on the other side of them pushing back and holding the door from being opened. I did this for a while until they called and got another person to come and the door came down, I couldn't hold it any longer.

All I can remember next is that they shot my mum and I said in angrily voice "What am I gonna do now both parents are gone in the same year might as well suicide make all the problems go away". My dad passed away just this year as well.

      Can someone interpret please?

Well I'm not a psychologist, but if I was I'd say that the dream is illustrating your fear of losing another loved one. It could be showing that you have abandonment issues. Perhaps you were hurt by the death of your father. The act of holding the door closed represents the idea that your keeping those emotions at bay. The men trying to push the door open represents your fears. The fact that a third man came to help the other two men that you were fighting against would represents the idea that sooner or later those emotions will overcome you. When this does happen you will be overcome by the fear that you will lose another loved one. Apparently your holding those emotions back, keeping them at bay. The comment you made about suicide might illustrate the sense of despair you would feel if you did lose another loved one. The dream is trying to tell you you need to resolve these emotions. I'm assuming your not really suicidal, but the dreams reference to suicide may represent how you would feel because of such a lose.

Dear Frozen, Im sorry to hear about the loss of your father, mine died on october 7 this year as well. It is hard to lose those that we love especially when we are very close to them. For me it was kind of a relief, due to the fact that my dad was suffering for a few years from congestive heart failure. Anyways, about the dream. I feel that it represents certain issues or battles that you have been battling for quite some time. Possibly fear, depression, and anxiaty. When these issues arise you may tend to hold them off for a period of time until it becomes too much for you to handle. Eventually they invade and render you feeling helpless giving you no purpose and a feeling of helplessness. This may even cause relational problems and fear of intimacy with others, making it hard to "let others into your life". Loss, feelings of abandonement , and fear of rejection could also come forth as well limiting your number of close relationships and bringing you to a place of issolation. Your mom will be fine. This may just be a call and an indicator that it might be time to deal with these issues with someone who you can trust or seek professional consultation. I have had similar dreams before about people invading my house against my will. I learned that I had to deal with some issues before I was strong enough to keep certain thoughts or habits out of my life. I hope this helps. Stay strong and resist negative thoughts and don't open the door to anything negative in your life.
