Trapped in a dream. Interpretation wanted.

I had the most memorable and frightening dream over a month ago and I've been wanting to get some input on it's interpretation. A little background about me first. I'm a 22 year old male college student and I study technical theatre, jewelry design and production, and web page development. I'm straight and single and I haven't had sex in over 6 months. It was the night of November 1st and I had gone to the annual "Sex-o-Ween" party. This is a party held every year, the day after Halloween. It's a costume party, but, as the name would imply, less costume, more party. From the stories I've heard of past years, I though for sure I'd be getting laid tonight. For this party, I wore a Jack Sparrow-ish pirate getup. Well, the party was lame. No sex or craziness, just hanging out, talking with friends like we always do, just a little less clothing this time. At the end of the night, I end up taking two female friends home with me, We'll call them Kelly and Marie, to watch the movie "Boondock Saints" because two friends had come dressed as the main characters and they had never seen it. At this point, I've given up any hope of sex from the sex-o-ween party. Kelly and Marie are just friends, plus they're both virgins. So we watch the movie in my room, in my bed, with me in the middle with the laptop on my chest and a girl on either side. Marie falls asleep and we stop the movie half way through to take her home. Kelly comes back to finish the movie. We finish it, or she does as I fall asleep and she stays the night. We fall asleep.

Ok, I'm not sure how much of that was relevant but thought it best to tell the whole story. Now comes the dream.

I'm standing in the living room of a very nice apartment. My apartment (though nothing like my real life, cheap, small college town 2bed/2bath). It feels like it could be somewhere like New York or Paris. There are hardwood floors, a white sofa, and a fireplace that's not lit. There are french doors to a small balcony. They're open and shear,thin, white curtains are blowing in a gentle warm breeze. The apartment must be at least 10 floors up, only slightly higher than most of the buildings around it. It's quiet and I look out on the lights of the city and up to the stars in the clear black sky. It's very peaceful. I turn to another set of french doors which open into the bedroom. There on the bed in front of me is Kelly (really not much of as surprise there. I literally have my arm around her as I am dreaming this). She is asleep, lying on her right side, facing the windows. She is half naked (once again, no surprise, she's in my bed and I haven't had sex in 6 months), the bottom half, wearing only a black tank top. Her legs are twisted up in the sheets, (which are light green like my real ones) covering enough but still revealing her bare left hip, thigh, and feet. I don't linger long but start to wander around the apartment. I want to say I may have had a cup of coffee or tea but I'm not sure. As I wander through the apartment I slowly begin to feel that this isn't real. Something just isn't right and I slowly figure out that this is all a dream. Once I realize this, I "wake up."
Now I'm wondering around my apartment, thinking of this dream I've just had. My actions are close to the same as this dream I just had. Look outside, see Kelly half naked on the bed, wander around. Only, some things are different now, slightly twisted. I can't say how they are, I just know they are. Once again, I slowly begin to realize that I'm in a dream.
And then I "wake up" again. Same sort of thing. In an apartment, I think it's real. Find out it was a dream, "wake up" again.
This keeps happening, over and over. Each time it becomes a little more surreal, each time I "wake up" faster and faster. Things get stranger and stranger. My head is spinning and I feel as if I am slipping further and further away from reality. I know I am trapped in a dream, going through layer after layer, moving further away.
This happens at least 10 times, maybe more. I can't tell, things are moving so fast, spinning out of control until finally, in the real world I sit straight up in bed, breathing hard and sweating.
This wakes Kelly up and I tell her what happened (just the trapped in a dream, I leave out the her being half naked in bed part) and I ask her to convince me that this is real. She's unsure how to do that. I remember hearing somewhere that you can't read in a dream, dreams are right brain, reading is left brain activity. So I pick up a text book and read a random sentence to try and convince myself. I'm pretty sure it's real now but I'm still shaken. I lay back down and Kelly cuddles up next to me. It takes a long time for me to fall asleep again.
