      dark caves

      2 nightmares again last night...
One I was walking around in dark caves...
Like an underground labyrinth. I was always looking behind me with a horrible sensation that someone was behind me...
At one point it just started getting darker and darker, narrower and narrower..
So narrow, I was crawling in the end... Then it got to a dead end, but I couldn't turn around, so I had to crawl backwards. There were new tunnels on the side as I was going back; but so dark I couldn't see anything inside those side tunnels. It was very stressful..
In the end, I saw an opening with lots of light, relief... An exit.
I wake up before I can get to it.

That's about all I can remember about this one. I am at the point that I am a bit worried when I go to sleep, wondering what crazy things my brain is going to invent. I'm 28 ffs...Any doctors or shrinks around? Is my brain broken? Is it normal to have a rate of 2-3 nightmares per night? Even if you take a nap?

So I had another one again last night... The rate at which I have nightmares is starting to scare me. Now it's 3 am and I'm having a last smoke before I go to sleep, wondering what will happen. I try to think happy thoughts as I fall asleep to avoid them, but nothing helps.

Usually when things or people come from behind you in a dream is referring to the past - this might be old memories, old relationships.

      Tunnels can be birth memories
