Help Please.
Hi Folks,
I had this dream a long time ago - like 10 years or more - but I've never forgotten it.
It has a heavily religious feel as you will find out, but I'm an atheist - hence my confusion...
Thanks in advance.

My Wierd Dream.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, so the dream starts I'm in a church - a massive church, but all I'm doing is trying to break huge (like 3m cubed) cubes of rock.
I've got a sledgehammer, and I'm putting a huge about of effort in, but there's just no way these rocks will break in a million years.
I become aware that I am dreaming at this point, and decide to have a look around my surroundings.
I'm facing the door when I become Lucid, so the first place I look is behind me, and on one of the sets of staircases coming down behind the altar area in the church, there is a guy dressed all in white and glowing a kind of white light - like an aura.
He's looking at me trying to break these rocks with a look of pity / amusement on his face.
I thought he was God, so I asked him straight out 'Are you God?'.
This seemed to increase both the pity and the amusement that was in his look, but he calmly walked over to me and I got down off the rock I was standing on and sat down in a pew.
Out of his pocket he produced a cylindrical metal item, rounded on the end kind of like a cigar case, and leaned forward until he was really close to me.
He held the implement up to my eye, and answered me: 'I am not God, THIS is God'...
He then pressed the implement into my eye socket, and I was instantly filled with the most immense euphoria I have ever felt. At the time I described to my girlfriend that it felt like every cell in my body just orgasmed at the same time...
And that's it!
What do you think?

wow, that is quite a dream for someone who i supposedly atheist/nonreligious.
i'm just throwing this out there:
there might be some part of you, conscious or not, that would like to be religious, or at least have faith in God or a higher power. You'd have to relfect on yourself and wonder what was happening in your life when you had that dream.
