Sometimes dreams deal with separate issues and sometimes they tie in with other issues. Keep a journal of your dreams noting all symbols including colors and qualities (I once dreamed of a neon snake, a stuffed animal type, and also in that dream were neon lights, so neon colors meant something).
Write down any thoughts or feelings you experience that you associate with them. See if the symbolism doesn't repeat in other dreams. See if themes, or patterns don't emerge. The elements of your dreams usually symbolize combinations of things when they aren't clear what they do represent. For example, an element may represent how you feel about something, your understanding, how much you know about that thing, child hood beliefs mixed with adult abstract thinking (creating a conflict in understanding), and many other things. On the other hand, some things are very clear what they represent. If you've been feeling out of place, like a fish out of water, you might dream of a fish flopping around outside his bowl. This is especially likely if you use a cliché like that regularly.
Maybe you are supposed to be speaking on another's behalf (working as an advocate-unique to you as you might have a calling in that field), and you may do it so well "you sing", meaning you are among the best in that field.
Voice is a word that has many meanings, and to have your voice cut off, then returned in a unique capacity is worth thinking about. In this dream your voice is cut off abruptly. In another dream you described, you don't have the freedom to speak as freely and intimately with someone as you once did (you've been cut off.)
So, stay aware of other dreams you have as some can be extensions of other dreams, or suggest ways of dealing with struggles you're facing in waking life, or even occur to make you aware that you're ready to face certain obstacles, or expand your understanding of things, in general.
