Honestly, In my opinion, if dreams do have meanings, then only the person that had the dream can really figure it out. It could be any number of things, including but not limited to what you listed. |

I recently had a dream in which my daugher opened her mouth and a snake was coming out. It was vivid colours yellow and green and it was slithering through a milky substance from her throat and mouth. In the dream I reached out to grab it and pull it out - the snake backed down her throat and she closed her mouth. This is the first dream such as this I have had. I am trying to interpret it. My partner believes the snake represents truth and trust or evil being expelled ... what ideas do you fellow dreamers have?? |

I agree. I think only the dreamer him or herself can correctly interpret dreams. |

Of course we always have a section desinged just for this kind of thing, if you'd like to post there. |

I believe it's pretty common that our worries reflect in our dreams one way or another. Do you think that she's hiding something... troubles, whatever and isn't able to tell you? Negative images such as a snake in your daughter's mouth gives me the impression that you feel so. Along with the fact that you put the daughter has secret no able to share as the first pool option and in italic letters. |

In my experience with snakes in dreams (I've had a lot of them), they've been more symbolic of Men in my life. Though not necessarily sexual, just the influence and existence of some kind of male influence or power. |
|
I didn't participate in the poll because none of the answers seemed right. |
|
Yeah I agree. Snakes (in my opinion) represent evil, fear, lies, or misunderstandings..Because most people think that snakes are bad (in actual life) so they kind of misunderstand them. |

Well, I'm definitely not a professional or anything, but I've always seen the snake as a sign of temptation, lies, and distrust. There are loads of dream interpretation sites, you should enter one key word of this dream (snake, mouth,...,) at a time along with the words 'dream meaning' into the google searchbar, that's how I always get my dream interpretations. |
|
I haven't voted as I believe it represents none of the above. I think it shows something you subconsciously dislike about your daughter - perhaps a bad habit or something. The snake symbolizes this. It rises from your daughter and remains there worrying you (showing that you feel anxious about it - suggesting it is a habit), and it is connected to her (suggesting a habit that is hard to get rid of) and you can't pull it out of her (get rid of it, as it crawls back inside her). |

This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.
You do not report what were your feelings in the dream. Seeing |

Well yes - dreams can only really be interpreted by the person who has the dream. The dream COULD have several meanings. It could link to something she says or does... evil thoughts and feelings... just bad negative emotions |
|
Well, many of the people here are right. Dreams can only be interpreted by the person who had the dream. I will tell you that I don't really believe in dream interpretation because there's so much symbolism involved. Being that as it is, I enjoy it, and I like to help people with it. I'm usually right. . All joking aside, I'm not a professional, I've been interpreting dreams for three months now. Either way, I feel I have a knack for it. |

How did you feel about this whole situation in the dream? Were you scared of the snake? Disgusted? Was your daughter afraid? Defensive? Indifferent? Examining what you felt towards your daughter and the snake, and how your daughter acted, might help you decide what it means to you. |
|
Although I agree it is up to you alone to din any meaning out of your dreams I will offer my 2 cents. It sounds to me like some sort of transformation. I think that is the major theme here. As for the snake I personally don't see that as an omen or anything negative. I noticed you used the word 'partner' in your original post. Perhaps the bright colors of the snake have some thing to do with orientation, whether yours or your daughters. |

Yet it is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top.
