I hope you can hear me... I won't forget

Sorry guys, this is long, but I need some peoples thoughts on what this could be/mean. Here goes:

I was on a hill where the sky was very stormy. I had a feeling of sadness, but I was at peace with something I had to do. I stared out for a long time and then when I finally got up the nerve to do what I needed to do, I started walking. When I got where I was headed (a cliff), I looked down at the rocks, smiling, I looked up at the sky and said "I hope you can hear me because there was no time for official goodbyes, I won't forget."
When I went to jump someone grabbed my hand and I turned around and stared someone all to familiar in the face. They looked sad and upset. Shaking there head they pulled me in and held me. I was weeping at that point and struggling. I kept saying "I have to, you won't be free, let me go." But the person told me "I don't care about freedom. I never did."
I heard voices and someone screamed, "There here!" I couldn't help but look up into the persons eyes and I saw the panic there. "Don't do anything stupid." They said to me, turning to fight the people I now saw were soldiers, I couldn't help but jump in front of them when someone was going to get them.
The soldiers pulled back, and stared. I fell to the ground, having been stabbed (they used swords) and the person was saying, "No, no, no. Oh god no. Please don't take her not now." They held me, but I was fading. Then I remember being like a ghost and seeing the person scream and all of a sudden everyone started running. They stood there when everyone was gone, looking at me and put me very carefully in a peaceful position. Kissing my forehead, they looked up at the sky, crying, then picked me up, and jumped off the cliff.
Everything whites out and I'm in a room with some of my friends, centuries later (it took place a long time ago). They are joking around and I keep looking for someone, but I don't remember who I am looking for. I figure out when I wake up it was the person who I died for, who killed himself anyways.

I guess just an regular dream.

I don't know how to interpret dreams, but that one seemed like an Oscar winning movie :) . Also we have another sub-forum especially for this here.

Any emotional stress?? Anti-depressants?? They can cause thoughts of suicide and people dream about their thoughts.

Perhaps the stormy sky, peaceful feeling and goodbye might symbolize an event that you regret happened but have accepted that it had to pass?
