      Recurring things in my dreams

      Hi there,
there are some things in my dream that appear really often, some have been there for a long time now, some are pretty new. I'll get going with it right away then.

      Cats

I dream of cats really often at the moment. It started about two months ago, that there is virtually no dream that I have without cats in it at some point. They're not always protagonists or of importance, but they might as well just roam through my way or I stumble over them or something. They don't do much, they often run away from me or something, but they are always there.

      Water

About a month ago, I started dreaming of water really often. Sometimes my entire dream takes place at the seashore, sometimes it's raining and I get soaking wet. But every... 4 out of 5 dreams that I have feature water in some role. 2 out of those 4, the water gets really important. I remember a dream where a good friend of mine fell into a lake and got terribly cold because of the water, that somewhen lead to her being an ass to me because she felt so cold. Well not so logical, but it was a dream, gimme a break.

      Suicide/Death

This is the oldest one for me. For about a year now, I'm constantly dreaming about suicide. I've been shooting myself, hanging myself, jumping off of buildings, drowning myself in the sea (hey, there's the water again!). I'm not really suicidal in real life, so there's not such a direct explaination. I also never think about reasons in my dreams. My mood there is always just really melancholic (like if you listen to Good Riddance by Green Day or something), I take a deep breath and then get it done. As soon as that happens, the dream ends or I wake up. In the dreams, I never recount why I'm wiping myself out. I just do it.
Like I said, that's there for about a year now and it comes in different forms. It's either I kill myself, or I see death coming towards me; mostly it's a situation where I could get out of the way and save my ass, but I don't; I just accept it.

      Isolation

Since about the beginning of this year, I'm dreaming about people running away from me. Like I said with the cats above, there are many dreams where everything that has legs just abandons me and runs away.
Often, it gets even worse when the one that runs away may be my only hope, my only shelter. I remember a dream where I was lost in some huge hall and there were people everywhere that came towards me like zombies. Just one guy looked different and I just knew he was my only hope here. I tried to get to him, but he ran away all the time.
Things like this happen so often. It's also the cats, I see them cuddling with someone else and try to touch them as well, but they just run off screen and are gone. Those dreams are actually way more painful than the suicide ones (except for the dreams concerning hanging myself, I think it feels way too realistic).

      That's about it.
What could this mean? With exception of the two most recent ones, the others didn't ever come out of dramatic changes to my life, they just appeared. The water started coming up a lot since my girlfriend left me, that was quite a dramatic change, but the others basically just appeared and yet didn't disappear.
Any ideas what this stuff could mean?

Alright, I got my dream dictionary here! Just remember that there is no universal key to dream interpertation, these are just guidelines. Make the jumps yourself.

Cats are generaly seen as feminine.
If in a 'good' way, they can represent prosparity or quick reactions. And independance.
If you see them in a bad way, it can be bad luck or evil people.

Nice, dude. Sometimes people forget that they are just freaking dreams.
Water can mean emotions or the unconcious. And good health, and the female genitalia. Feminism seems to be reoccuring here. It can also mean the source of life and a spiritual journey.

      Best quote ever.

It can mean a transition, or becoming a new person. It isn't nessicarly a bad thing, just like the Death card in Tarot (I can't believe I remembered that, or even know that). It can mean a lifestyle shift.

No clue with this one, man.

I hope that the earlier ones help, though!

By far, Mothra (in all of it's forms) is the worst kaiju of all time.
