Dead babies, dying children, ghost children

      Hi,

I keep having dreams about children dying or their ghosts and dead babies.

In the first dream, I was at a party and my mum came to pick me up and she was crying that there was a dead baby in our pool so she took me home and I jumped in to get the baby out who was already dead, and now turning black and blue, but I couldn't bring myself to touch it.

In the second dream, there were many ghost children playing in the street and it was fine, but then my Aunt and her child came (5 years old) and he was a ghost and I started sobbing and saying sorry. In the dream I was saying his death was my fault but it seemed more like survivors guilt. In real life, my Aunt and my cousin live overseas and are perfectly healthy.

Last night's dream I was at a party again and i left it to go outside when I heard a child locked in a room downstairs yelling and screaming and crying to get out but I completely ignored the child and walked past the room and got into a pool where I just stood there, staring at the room the child was locked in while I listened to it wail.

Does anyone know what any of this may mean? I've looked it up but there are so many possible interpretations and I don't know if these dreams are connected to each other? (The first dream was about a month ago, and the last two were last night and the night before).
No one I know is particularly sick, I'm 19 and have no children and I'm not worried about anything I know of, although lately I wake up a few times a night feeling very anxious about something.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
      Tash

Not sure what to tell you about the first and third, but, for the second, whenever you see a dead person in a dream, it means two possible things: If he is alive and health, he's gotten a new life(will live a healthy life) BUT if he is sick with disease, etc.... he'll likely die Good thing your cousin is health Just remembered one thing, its possible that the baby's(1st and 3rd) represent something within you, maybe something that you long for or need, etc.... Just a guess on my part though, may explain the anxious part BTW, welcome to dreamviews and enjoy the site and all it's got to offer

      Thank you BigFan.
I just had another dream last night.
At first I was just an onlooker in the dream and my family and stuff were playing in the pool, but then my cousin who in real life is 21.. he was a tiny little baby and he floated to the bottom of the pool and no one noticed so I got in and pulled him out.
I don't know why dead/dying babies and pools keep recurring in my dreams but I hate it.
Is there anyway to STOP dreaming??? Or some techniques I can use to make my dreams less horrible?

Before you can stop having the dream you must first understand why you are having it, this way you can work on the issues enforcing the dream and prevent your subconscious from distorting the issue further.
Essentially, you WILL stop having the dream.
      Hope this helps

I know this might sound weird but what do you associate with babies and young children? And have you known someone who has died at a young age?

I have to agree with this, you should face the dream head on regardless how scary it can be. It's only by finding it's true meaning will you stop it from recurring
