Dying Birds, a Lady, and a River
I dreamed this not too long ago. At the time, I can recall it being spring break. I was happy, I didn't have nothing going on at the time that seemed stressful, but then this just happened.
In my dream, it seemed cool and dreary. The colors seemed similar to that of a Tim Burton movie if you know what I mean. It was extremely windy, and there was a river that seemed to be running across a plain. There were no trees except for in the distance on the hills.
In the dream, there was a girl, who I suppose was me, yet she didn't look a lot like me. A young man, around my age of about 19 or so, and a younger boy who appeared around 13-14 years old. None who I recall ever seeing in real life, but I do see them recurring in other dreams.
We were walking along the river when before our feet was a bird breathing heavily on the ground. It appeared to be either a raven or a crow.
As we looked at the ground, we could see shadows moving around, so we looked above us to see what it was. There were dozens and dozens of birds flying wearily around, falling to the ground. We saw the direction they were coming from, and walked over a slight hill to see what was happening.
There was a giant hill of grain, sparkling in the sun. The birds were all coming towards it, grabbing the grain from the pile, then started flying off, falling just feet away from the pile. We soon realized it was filled with tiny shards of glass that were killing them as they swallowed.
A little in the distance was an old house that used to be white in color, but turned gray from the weather. It looked abandoned, many windows were knocked out, and there were no doors on the house. We thought perhaps there was something inside that we could find to cover the pile to stop the birds, still coming, from eating from the pile.
So we ran inside to look, when a woman appeared from the corner of the room. She was tall, her skin looked very pale, almost translucent. She had shoulder-length black hair, and her face was not defined, it all seemed blurry, you could only make out where the eyes and mouth were. She had smooth black eyes, and her lips were a gray charcoal color. She never spoke, she just stared at us, twisting her head back and forth as if she were wondering what we were. She started to come toward us, so gracefully that it looked like she may have been gliding. We started backing out of the house, before we turned around to run back towards the river.
The birds still falling all around us, when the youngest boy ran so fast, he fell into the bank of the river, and then I woke up.
If anyone could interpret this in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
