Is this an interconnected dream world?!??!?!?

Last night, the night of 5/29/09-5/30/09 I had a dream that was some-what similar to others. throughout this intire dream i could feel everything as if it was real! I was walking my neighbor down her driveway along with another random person and i herd footsteps from behind me and it was a group of goth kids and i went to go chase them outta her driveway and the went into the bushes right next to her mailbox and I said to get the fuck outta her driveway and that I had a knife (which I didn't) and then they ran strait into the road and all 3 of them wipped out switchbaldes and one of them lightly threw one 6" away form my head and i said "wow i love how you guys (the goths) all have knives and I dont" then i guess that random friend (I'll just call him rod for short) got the goths to go sit and the circle at end of my street and jsut sat there. After we made a fire at the cirlce and about 30 minutes later of people arriving at the circle I turned around a say my great friend Miles (I havent seen him in ligit 3.5 mounths strait). I said "hey, hows it goin man? dude i havnt seen you in forever!" Miles then said "yo i know man dude we should hang out sometime soon" then ran towards him full speed, picked him up and contiued running, think maybe i could get him away from the croud and bring him down the street to my house. Unfortunately his other friends caught me and beat the fuck outta me and one of them dragged me back to hte circle and put me down on the grass saying "it's goin to be ok, just dont do that again" and then someone threw a knife right at my upperarm/ shoulder joint. I felt like acuponture since it relaxed and calmed me down. I said "aaa wait that kinda feels good do it agian and another person did. Then I fell asleep in my dream and I woke up in real life, still feeling the pain of the knife and the beating. Im not sure how to interpret dreams so i might need help on this one...
