Dreams about pregnant friend, abortion, baby dying!?

I have had two somewhat disturbing dreams about a good friend that I would love to interpret. About me...I am a 29 yo female, married, mom to a toddler.

The friend in my dream is a very good, old friend from high school that I see 5 or 6 times a year. She is currently pregnant, due at the end of the month. In the first dream I find out she has aborted her baby late in the pregnancy- 7th or 8th month. I am horrified at this but feel like I should not confront her, who am I to judge, etc. (!!)

In the most recent dream he gives birth but then I find out that the baby has died shortly after because she forgot to (or neglected to) feed it. Almost like she was busy or distracted. My reaction to hearing this was disbelief, why did no one at the hospital intervene, check in on this, etc?

I don't feel like this has much to do with my actual friend, I feel like she is a representation of myself, but I am not quite sure what to think about all of the baby death! Strangely, these are perplexing but not as nightmarish as I would expect given the topic. It feels a bit removed, since it is not "me" or my baby.

death does not nessiceraly mean death in dreams, it could symbolise a new beginning, the death of something in your friends life. (not nessiceraly a person).
Also your friend is pregnant so that is a new beginning for your friend.
But you say also that it is a representation of yourself? what makes you say that?
I honestly do not beleive it has anything to do with babies dying i think it symbolises something else. Perhaps your new hectic life, your old life of freedom is dead now you have someone totally dependant on you.
