feasting on eyeballs at an underground speakeasy!

had this dream awhile ago and it's one of my faves, any feedback is appriciated...

I somwhow end up at an underground club or society similar to the Speakeasys from the prohibition era only instead of bootlegging alcohol it was eyeballs... human eyeballs. there were all kinds of booths selling them cooked in all kinds of different ways. Or you could eat them raw and plain which is what I was doing. There were tons of people gobbling down eyes. I remember the taste, it wasn't very good but not strong. in fact they were almost tasteless. The texture was like a very tough hardboiled egg but hollow in the center. Like I said, they didn't taste good but they were extremely addictive. I think towards the end of the dream I ran out of money or something because I couldn't get anymore and was craving more. That's when I started poking gently one of my own eyes and my final thought before waking up was "I don't need both my eyes to see"...

Any thoughts?
