Hi Liz,
I get a lot of health advisory dreams, and suspect that someone who loves you is trying to point out the downside of diet soda, and artificial sweeteners, with the possible exception of Stevia (an herb) if it's used in its natural form, not processed. I happen to believe in inner guides or spirit guides who help, not just my own subconscious doing all this stuff! Do a search on Aspartame, the most commonly used sweetener for soft drinks. It's tied to a lot of illnesses, including Lupus. Water and fruit juice are better choices. I like to have fruit juice blended with herbal tea or sparkling water too, when I'm at home.
Calling you a retard seems a little extreme though! Unless they've tried repeatedly to get the message through, and figured this was a good way to catch your attention.
A few years back, I had developed a bleeding ulcer from using too many N-Saids after a car accident left me with a permanently broken collarbone and a lot of pain. It was compounded by a doctor who told me to take Aspirin and Aleve alternately every two hours... bad advice! Both are N-Saids and hard on stomach lining. I suspect he was thinking of Aspirin and Tylenol, as Tylenol is not an N-Said.
My dreams guided me step by step into a vegetarian diet which I stayed on for two and a half years, and it cured the ulcer. The first dreams were gentle nudges to eat less meat, with my guide even showing up in person in a dream about being at a potluck supper, demonstrating to eat just a little of it, by taking a single small piece off my plate and eating it. He said, "I'll just have a little of hers." LOL... I tried cutting back, but it was not enough.
Finally, he flashed me an image of a hamburger patty with the center cut out, like a zero 0. Then a couple days later, it was "Put the chicken back in the chicken where it belongs." I finally did some reading, discovered that animal proteins and fats take a lot more stomach acid to digest, and leave acids in joints and muscles as well (uric acid from meat, lactic acid from dairy), and since I also had arthritis starting at the time, and later fibromyalgia, it all began to make sense.
After the two and a half years, I went back to eating some animal protein, but nowhere near as much as I used to, and most of it is chicken breasts and tuna, with a little of other things occasionally. I still eat more vegetarian meals than meat meals, and still use soya products for most of my dairy. But the time off of it completely allowed the ulcers to fully heal. And it was all monitored by my dreams, including herbs to help heal and control the acids.
One should suspect health advisories wherever food and drink are an element in the dream.
