Hidden message?

A friend of a friend of mine is a medium, she gave me a reading a while ago. I dreamt about her last night for some reason, in the dream she was living in a flat far away from where she lives now, I was trying to go in and see her properly but I couldn't get to her, she was right there in front of me but I just couldn't get to her, I don't even know why! I had to keep going into the flat to get things I had forgotten, a phone was one I remember. She also looked different, older and she was just sat in an armchair.
I felt like there was a message I am meant to give her but I don't know what it is, it seemed so odd for me to dream of her.

just wanted to add some further information after reading the advice on posting for interpretation.
the lady in the dream as i said is a medium, i have really wanted to go and see her for a few weks now for a reading but haven't been able to due to her being ill. i also know that she had a message herself from wherever it is she receives her messages to say she was ging to be moving on and changing, this has upset her as she can't understand why this would happen.
in the dream of trying to spek to her i remember feeling really frustrated and upset that i couldn't get to her.
maybe it is just my real feelings showing themselves but i feel there is some message for her due to what she has received from the spirit world about her self.
i do get a lot of message type dreams, including visits from deceased relatives his is why i think there is more to it than my frustration at not being able to see her in real life.

I would think that anyone who is a psychic medium would have herself shielded, especially when she's sick, so it might literally be difficult for you to reach her in a dream, even if you often have shared dreams with other people. Perhaps the phone is suggesting that you call her and check up on her since you are worried anyway. You don't have to only go if she can give a reading, right? Bring her some flowers or a book or a nice herbal tea, and see if she needs cheering up a little!

Death and change are really the same thing symbolically. Dreams often use death to tell us we have a major change coming. And really, death itself is a change, a doorway to somewhere else. As a medium, she's sure to believe that! So even is she's sick enough that death is a possibility, I would think she really perceives it as a change, not an ending.

I'd suggest using the phone, giving her a call and asking how she is, and if she's feeling up to it, see if you can just stop by for a brief visit, and be sure to keep it brief, as if she's really sick, she's probably easily tuckered out.

I think that is really all you can do!
