Reacuring theme in my dreams that has repeated for years really.

I'm currently starting out at these forums but I dream often and remember them often. Had a few LD's now and then. But basically just recently I turned up a notch to try gain more knowledge and understanding from the dreams I have. Been vague interest at times but I feel I should pursue it more closely now.

Something I put my mind to was that I have had a repeated theme or thing that seems to repeat itself all the time quite often when I think back and try to remember all various dreams I have.

The general theme is whenever I'm in any kind of "large" building or hall usually I have a urge to find the exit and get out. They start just by me wanting to go outside whenever when I have the feeling that I don't want to stick around to that specific place where ever I might be. So I take a look around if I see the exit, take a short walk to try and find it. But it usually is never close by and I sometimes look far and wide never to find it. I get more and more at unease about it and pissed that I can't find the exit. Sometimes I get really angry when I'm not really "in control". But usually goes for a trip around searching for the exit until I meet a person from whom I in frustration ask where the hell the exit is.
They always tell and point in a direction where it is. I then go towards there but it never was the exact place where they pointed. The exit is like always like 2rooms/corridors/doors away in the general direction in which they pointed. So always a few extra rooms to pass through before I can get out and then I'm like. "Now what?"
But I never fail to find it in the end, sometimes it takes a lot of time sometimes a short time, degree of frustration/anger usually climbs the longer it takes unless I realize "the foolishness" of it by having a "lucid" thought for a moment in which case I find the first person around to ask where the damn exit is to find my way out pronto.

Other repeating theme is I usually have to cross a river time to time, sometimes crossing them several times. I usually just take a short glimpse around if there is any easy way to cross. But usually it's that you just have to get over by swimming or walking in shallower part. To my recollection I have never failed to cross the rivers, but seems I do it kinda really often. When I'm lucid or "semi lucid" IE. I'm dreaming I'm supposed to be lucid but in actually aren't :lol: I just jump across or fly or some other manner warp the river it like to just taking a single larger step over.

Guys have suggestions on what these can mean in some different ways. I've been a bit clueless to figure these out.
