Dark Dreams

Now, im not one for looking for dream interpretation(i usually advise against other people doing it). But i have no clue why this is and i just wanted some peoples opinions. About 95% of my dreams are in the dark. Not so dark that i cant see(usually). But somewhere between being really cloudy during the day and being midnight. Alot of them are about this light level(but some go lighter and some go darker) Spoiler for |: Usually it isnt a problem and i continue as normal. But i kinda want to have it be nice outside or have some blue skies instead of just dark clouds all the time. So i am asking for 2 things: Why do you think my dreams always are dark? and 2: How do you think i would fix this?(and not just for my lucids. I would like to fix it for my nonlucids also). You asked for a reason why and other's opinions but first said, you don't care for interpretations or normally do not ask for any. I must say that I believe that the dream state is really showing to you a reflection of your everyday life. It is saying it's "of a darker nature" and you need to pretty much "clean up your act" this is the only way you will then begin to experience "light" and "brightness" and even blue skies in your dreams. The dream consciousness is not so far (psycholgically speaking) away from your every day reality. It's a warning dream then! In my opinion after working on dream interpreation for over 40 years. I think this would actually go better under Dream Control. This is a control issue. Try to summon the sun, or whatever archetype you want to use that means brightness and light to you.
