dream of death and reincarnation

It seemed i was part of a hobbit-like society. i was with a group of others and a few of them were carrying barrels of something. i think it was food or some other important goods. they were small barrels about a foot accross. a man on a horse with a shotgun came chasing after us. one of our people did not want to leave the barrel behind. i stopped to tell him to let it go and run. by the time i had taken the barrel out of his hands, i fell over facing the man on the horse with the gun. the next thing i know he has the gun pointed at my face, and i see the bullet comming at me. it hits me and kills me. yet i stay concious. i lay there for a period of years. i witness many mideival-type battles from my deceased body. it was kind of like a fast forwarding. then the next thing i do is actuallly get up. i somehow come from the dead in the exact same spot where i was killed. it seemed like i had been there for about 7 years or so, however the mideival type scenery suggested that i could have been there for hundreds of years. so i am now in the modern world which i live in today. i go walking and end up at my present-day parent's house. i tell them my story which they do not beleive. i give them a disc containing some information about my experience. my mother reads it and becomes angry. she asks the neighbor to help her because her son has gone insane. my friend comes over and somehow recognises the disc. this is all very confusing because i shouldnt know anybody had i actually been laying there until now. this world should have been entirely new to me. so somehow i end up at my present dy apartment and find an opening through the ceiling. i then decide to go up there and i find that there are a bunch of someone else's belongings. among these belongings, i find a couple wads of cash. thats about all i can remember from the dream. can anyone tell me what it means?

im a 24 year old male, and i live in michigan in the USA. im a leo and i have never had this dream before.
