Thread: Troubling Dreams.

Ok, so I had the most weird dream early this morning. Before I start, I will fill you all in on some details that need to be known to probably determine what's going on exactly.

First, my mother is in the dream and since I was 17 I have been away from her. I am not allowed to see her as I have a restraining order. Why you ask? Because she abandoned me, and the judge saw it as fit, and so did I. She used to treat me badly, and made me do all her dirty work. She used me for child support money, and would threaten me constantly. In general, she was just mean and rude to me (for no apparent reason). And when I would try and defend myself, I just got in more trouble. -This is the explanation to why I am not with my mom in the dream, and why she treats me badly.-

Now, onto the dream. I can't exactly remember how it started, so I will start with the part I remember first.

I remember being with my husband and his family at some house (wasn't a house I recognized, but the people I recognized). We were having a get together is what it looked like. My husband and I were walking around, socializing with everyone. Then I go outside, around the back of the house. And there is an older guy (that I have no idea who was) building what looked like a large building, or another house. I stood there watching him. Then after I got tired of watching him, I went further into the backyard where there was a group of people standing around. I'm not sure what they were doing, but there was a mountain behind them, and I stood watching it. I saw a truck going up the mountain, and almost run off it. It disappeared for a minute, then reappeared again right above where the people were standing (on the mountain still). It was running off of the mountain, and was going to hit all the people! I called to them, telling them to move out of the way, and they weren't listening. I kept on calling and finally they moved out of the way. The truck slams onto the ground, but keeps on going through the yard, then disappears out of sight. At this point, things look a lot different than they did before. Now, I see me with 2 guys walking back down toward the house. One of them is unknown, and the other my ex boyfriend. I had arms locked with both of them, just walking down the yard. Then the setting changes, and now looks like a city and the 2 boys now look like twins. They take off running and I try to follow them. I get stuck on a hill, and can't move for some reason. They were calling to me, telling me to come on and hurry. But I couldn't move. I saw a truck, and it was familiar to me. (It was really my husband's vehicle, not sure why it would be in this place though) I knew who was driving it - it was my mother. She speeds over to me, and jumps out of the truck and grabs me by the arm. She makes me get in the truck, then speeds off. There are 2 other girls in the truck as well, which are 2 girls that I used to be friends with. The one in the front seat is talking to me and being all nice, while my mother's energy was making me very afraid. The girl was telling me about all the things I was getting for Christmas (I guess from my mom) and what all had changed since I had been gone (since I left my mom almost 2 years ago). We came to another house that was unfamiliar to me. We went inside and I sit down, waiting to see what would happen next. -Note, my mom never says a word to me the whole time. I just feel the energy from her, and it was very negative and hateful.- There were 2 dogs in the house, and I petted them. Next thing I remember I was sitting in a chair, and one of the girls tell me that my Nanny had died.... (My Nanny is my mothers' mom). I broke into tears. I loved her so much, and had a strong bond with her. Then, I noticed that my Nanny was talking, and even though she had died I was still able to talk to her. She was talking about something, but I can't remember what all she said. The only thing I remember is her saying something about how she wished the whole world was dark, or something like that. And after that, I just remember waking up crying. My eyes were all wet! The only other time I have cried in my sleep is when I was young and had a bad dream about my Paw Paw. (Not sure why I had a bad dream about him and cried, as I barely knew my Paw Paw, and he died soon after).

I read on a website that if you had a bad dream like that and you wake up crying, usually something bad is going to happen. But it prepares you for the event so you don't take it so hard. Not sure if that is correct, but that is what I read. It kinda makes sense.

I got a call from my father earlier saying that someone in the family had died just a short while ago. (It wasn't my Nanny, though) He had said they think she had a stroke early this morning (I was thinking it happened when I was having this dream). It was pretty amazing, it kind of seemed like I was getting a warning. I'd like to know if that is what my dream was trying to tell me or not.
