Arrow Overwhelming love in a dream?

      Hello

This is one bizarre dream I'd like interpreted, please

Last night I had a dream in which I was walking to my car in my Uni's parking lot, looking for my car. The weather was a bit windy, and my scarf (which i love wearing) slips off and flies away to the back of me- and I quickly turn around trying to catch it. Then, a man catches it in his hand and shyly looks down. He hands it to me, I thank him, and an overwhelming feeling of happiness and joy hits me. I don't remember what he looks like at all, or even if I know him. But the joy was such a wonderful feeling. I felt complete. I felt so happy. We don't talk. We just walk side by side to my car, smiling, and very happy in the others presence.

To clarify some things.. No, I'm not a hopeless romantic at all..- and am single. If it might be relevant at all- I've been single for about a year, in which I've developed deep feelings for a friend of mine. I confessed my feelings to him, and although he admitted to feeling somewhat similar, he said he couldn't leave his current girlfriend. I was okay with that for a few weeks, but in the spur of the moment, I told him I couldn't really deal with being his friend anymore- and cut him off. It's been a few days since we've had any contact. </sadpanda>

It sounds like that in the future you will have the love of your life. One little mishap for you is a wonderful surprise for both and and the other person. Maybe when your scarf flew... It was flying toward your love of your life. There will be a path leading you there.

      maybe you're hungry for looove.
the news reports on the radio said it was getting worse
as the ocean air fanned the flames
but i couldn't think of anywhere i would have rather been
to watch it all burn away

You're a very optimistic person who likes to keep things in control, aren't you? Look, dreams have a deeply individual meaning, not in a precognitive way, just that they are a direct communication with your subconscious mind. They can reveal your true feelings you usually fail to recognize. Anyhow, I simply can't resist giving some opinion, but don't take it too seriously.

Looking for your car, you're actually looking for control over your life. The scarf obviously represents something lovely and known, that makes you safe and comfortable. But it slips away... so your mind instantly gives you a reliability. It tells me you're a person focused on a solution, rather then the problem. And the overwhelming feeling of love and joy is something I often feel in my own dreams with different people I barely know. It's not about that person, he is in fact a reflection of you. You're smiling at the reliability life gives you.

It's not the symbols that matter, it's the feelings you experience that come along.
Come on! What if Martin Luther King said: "I kinda have a dream... nah, I don't wanna talk about it."

Firstly, thanks for your reply Second, you couldn't be more wrong about the optimistic part. The reason I found this dream strange is because i'm NOT optimistic, whimsical, dreamy, or romantic at all XD

But you might be right about the searching for some sort of control.. Because I did lose some of it when I told my friend that I fell for him. I hope by your interpretation, that I'm gonna end up doing okay?

Damn right you will! And I still believe you're pretty optimistic

Joking, of course I don't know you, but you do confess your feelings to the one you love, you share your dream and hope for a good interpretation and well... you did in fact had that very optimistic dream scenario. I think you should start considering yourself an optimist, to get the more good things going.
