Bleeding and Can't Get Clean

This could be a trigger for those that don't want to read about rape or menstruation. Just thought I'd warn you ahead of time.

I dreamt that me and my husband Jim, Jim's sister (which he doesn't have in real life), Jim's mom and dad, and I returned home from a family trip. We had put all of our bags in the back room (which appeared to be the bedroom I slept in at my great aunt's home in FL - I live in TN). We were all standing around in the kitchen which was at the other end of the home. Jim announced he was going to get a shower because it was getting late. So he went off. My stomach started to cramp up and hurt like crazy. When Jim finished his shower I went in to take my shower.

I got in the tub and turned the water on and was taking a nice hot shower. I noticed the water wasn't draining and when I looked down I saw that there was a nasty bloody tampon clogging up the drain. I kicked water at it and frowned. I then noticed the water was bloody and that I had blood running down my legs from my vagina. Lots of blood - as if I were peeing blood or something. The water was to the top of the tub in the next moment and I had to turn the water off and fish around in the bloody water looking for the drain so I could pull the tampon out of the drain. I couldn't see through the water and blood. It was kind of dark in the room and the blood was too thick. I finally found it and pulled it out of the drain. I threw it up on the edge of the tub and the tub drained. I turned the water back on and stood under the shower for about 5 minutes with my eyes closed and just letting the water wash away the blood. I went to reach for my shampoo and noticed that all of the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap were still in the travel bags in the back bedroom.

I got out of the shower and held a towel in front of me and opened the bathroom door a crack and motioned at Jim's mom (my mother in law) to come to me. She said "Oh, it looks like her nose is bleeding! I'll get some medicine." I yelled back that I just needed soap. She didn't hear me. Jim's sister (an attractive girl with bright blue eyes and long dirty blonde hair) came to the door from the direction of the back bedroom. She smiled at me and told me she could help me find what I was looking for. I followed her out of the bathroom and down the hall towards the back bedroom. Once in the back bedroom she became interested in something sitting on top of a dresser in the corner. So I dug around in the bags of stuff by myself. Still bleeding all over the place. I looked for my soap and shampoo and stuff where it should have been, but instead there were fireworks. Lots of firecrackers and stuff like one might buy in a store around the fourth of July. I shook my head in confusion and wondered why Jim's dad (my father in law) needed fireworks.

I went back to the bathroom empty handed. I didn't find my soap. Back in the bathroom I noticed there was another bathtub on the other side of the room (it was a fairly big room - think classroom sized) so I walked over and looked in that tub. Inside was all of my husband Jim's soap and his razor. I also noticed there were trinkets and junk sitting all over the place. Necklaces, little glass figures and just the junk like some old lady might have sitting around in her house. I thought about showering in there, but I knew my blood would ruin all of the nice things. I knew the things belonged to Jim's mom (my mother in law) and I didn't want to ruin them.

I walked back to the other shower to look inside again to see if maybe I missed seeing the bottles of soap and stuff. When I looked in I didn't see anything. A hand came from behind and touched me - trying to shove me into the bathtub. It was then that I noticed his other hand was holding a lock and that the shower had those frosted glass doors that slide (like my grandparents had at their home) and that there was a place he could lock from the outside and I'd not be able to get out of the shower. I jerked around and saw that it was the guy that had raped me (in real life) several times in a nine month period of time. I froze with fear and I couldn't scream. He smiled and laughed and came closer to me. I inched away and ran out of the room and then outside.

Once outside, I noticed I was in my parents' back yard where I grew up. I was frantically searching for a place to hide, but there was no place for me. I was still naked. I looked behind me and the rapist had come outside too. He was still laughing and had a twisted expression on his face. He walked closer and continued laughing. He just kept walking towards me. I turned to look around and see where I should run to. As I turned I saw that Jim's dad (my father in law) was sitting in an old blue folding lawn chair (those metal kind with the skinny plastic strips) and he just nodded his head once and had no expression on his face. I felt confused. I then saw that as he sat there in the chair he had a shotgun lying across his lap and he had his hands laying on it. Then I felt safe and knew that he would shoot the rapist for me and keep me safe. Then I woke up.
