      Nightmares...?

Hello, I am new to the Forums. I'm a bit confused on my dreams I am having. I've had three dreams about Zombies and they're starting to scare me to the point where I feel like I am not getting any sleep at all. In the dreams I am always fighting to protect everyone. The dream I had last night, my boyfriend was a buddhist monk. He is Catholic and it was weird. The Monks were praying for certain people that were going out to fight Zombies. I was weak in my training and they said I wasn't really reliable to go and fight but sent me out anyway. I asked the guy I am dating to spend one last time with me before I went out killing Zombies. It was at some circus sort of event. He did and before I knew it he kissed my forehead and left. I was in a tall grass field as Zombies started showing up. Then all of a sudden my younger cousin showed up and started fighting with me. It ended up turning into a video game then went back to actually me and my cousin fighting. It was weird. Also, about a few days ago I had a dream where I saw a guy get hit by a car while riding his bike. Blood went all over the place. I even saw a little seven year old boy get hit by a diseal truck and his head cracked open from the back. The little boy ended up dying as I passed by in a car. I even had a dream that my Grandpa passed away and out of no where there was a clone of my grandpa... I don't know why I am having dreams like this. Can someone please tell me why I am having such vivid dreams of blood and killing? They feel so real and at times I wake up with pain and small bruises.

      Welcome to DV!

Usually, people always want to have their dreams interpreted, searching for sites that interpret them or ask experts, but still, its YOU who can only interpret them because its your dreams, their connected to you. Nobody will be able to interpret them much more than you do. I suggest you try and learn lucid dreaming, in that way, you'll be able to control your dreams, and explore more what's behind your dreams. By doing so, you might end up solving your questions.

      Good luck!

Heh thank you. I'll still learning about Lucid Dreams. I barely understand them still.

Hey DecemberJ, welcome to the community

I agree with Morbid, but if you would like to have a better understanding of your dreams, we do have a Dream Interpretation section. Our members there will be more than happy to answer your questions. Feel free to give it a look

Hey welcome, DecemberJ! If you frequently have dreams involving blood, gore and zombies (and they do not occur in real life), then you can use it to your advantage. Read up on dream-induced lucid dreams (DILD) and Dreamsigns and you'll see what I mean. Link...

As a kid I often used lucid dreams to overcome these nightmares. I either threw lightning bolts at them or simply woke myself up. As an adult I rarely have nightmares, but I think it has a lot to do with the type of TV, games, and other sensory input you subject your subconscious mind to.
