Thread: "Crack the wall against the egg"

Umm, I had a very strange dream the other night about Trigun, which is an anime/manga series.

In it, one of the characters, Wolfwood, told Vash, another one of the characters, "Don't crack the egg against the wall, crack the wall against the egg". Then Vash runs up to Meryl, whom is another character, "I got it! Wolfwood told me to crack the wall against the egg!" and then I woke up.

I've had many very weird and random, funny dreams involving Trigun/Trigun Maximum, including one where The King from the Zelda CD-i games was having a barbecue and Vash and Knives were riding mattresses down a hill. However, this one seems most interesting because of the thing that Wolfwood said. Could it possibly be some weird metaphor for something? Can anyone interpret it? Maybe someone could interpret the mattress dream, too?
