Little help with interpretation? Amazing dream
I have never had a dream this detailed before, and it was quite emotional. Can anybody offer their ideas for interpretation? I will be thinking hard about this, but some other points of view would be a huge help. Even if you don't have very much to say about it.
Dream 1) (the less interesting one)
This one is kind of unclear what happened at the beginning (oh yes I remember now the dream switched to this from dreaming about playing Sonic the Hedgehog on Game Gear). The clearest bit I do remember is being in what looked like some sort of café and I was with some guy I don't recognise. I don't know why or who. We weren't even talking I was just there with him, I'm not even sure if he could see me. But I do know he was trying to hunt someone down.
He got up for the toilet and for some reason I went out to the main entrance for a breather of fresh air. Got back in to the corridor, found the café was shut. I was banging on the windows and shouting "hey, someone is still using the toilet!". But then the guy came down the stairs, he wasn't locked in. We both exited the entrance.
Outside we were on a sort of balcony place. Opposite the café entrance there was a very strange looking gate on the side of an old stony building.
A woman was passing through the gate. We followed. The gate led through a narrow kind of "close" type space (like the ones on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, really narrow closed alley between buildings, in this case roofed too). We came out the other side, following some woman. They guy recognised her. I got a little confused in the dream thinking this guy was my boyfriend for some reason when he clearly was not (nor could he even see me). So as we emerged we reached another balcony place that looked similar, except on one side there was a gap in the fence.
They went to climb the side there was no gap but I couldn't follow because I can't climb those kinds of fences. So I opted for the gap. I called out "meet you on the other side?" but they didn't even hear me.
I got down (btw this was all night time) and ended up in some quiet sub-urban street. On one side of the road there was a fenced off school. I started to jog lightly, floating ever so slightly with each stride. Somehow I felt for some reason I should avoid being seen, but I did not mind being spotted by a small child who wouldn't stop staring at me.
I woke up and needed the toilet.
Dream 2) (the interesting bit)
I got back into bed and went back to sleep.
I was back in that café, except it was a bit more expansive and seemed to be connected to some kind of shopping complex. I had grey skin and was dressed in robes, and I had something important hidden in the heavier bulkier layer of robes. I no longer had breasts, just a flat chest, but all this seemed completely normal to me. My hair was a different texture, more like skin than hair.
I was being chased by some people, it was a bit scary but for the most part I had complete confidence in not being caught. I exited the café and crossed over to the strange gate, dragging my robes in before closing the gate after me. I knew they were in hot pursuit so I had to be quick. At this point I had a strange sense of deja vu, like I had seen this sequence of events before.
At the other side of the close was different this time, it was like a small community of people living in an enclosed space. I passed up a long road to a shop at the end of it and entered. I took off the heavier layer of robes and chucked them behind the counter. The people there looked a bit bemused, but I whispered to one person "I did not just throw that behind the counter" and then everyone forgot what had happened and started minding their own business.
As I expected (for some reason) my skin turned fleshy coloured and my breasts appeared and hair appeared. But I knew this was only a disguise...
I entered another shop and started pretending like I was browsing at all the video games with interest as armed men and women (looked like police) stormed through the store. I recognised one woman in particular, middle-aged, blond curly hair, reddish cardigan. I knew she in particular wanted to find me and she seemed to be coordinating the search, but at the back of my mind I knew the guy from my first dream was also her accomplice.
I was not seen, even though some of them passed right by me and even looked at me, they treated me like another citizen because I was disguised. I was pretty confident too that I would not be found. Eventually the search left and carried on elsewhere and I could relax for a while.
There was an outdoor restaurant that caught my eye, looking over the water and to a hill, it was very pretty. The lighting in the restaurant was quite romantic. An old man came over to me and spoke to me.
"See that couple over there, they're on their first date" He said something along those lines.
"They won't last, they have a lot to learn"
I looked. A young man and a girl sitting opposite from one another. He was eating something out a bowl... soup? But with chopsticks? (maybe it was that noodly kind of soup?) He then sipped from the bowl when he was having difficulty, but it was a little as if he was hiding himself behind it too. There was so much emotional tension between them both despite the pleasantries and politeness. Almost too formal.
I looked up at the sky and saw a light moving across. It came into view briefly, blinked and faded out again as it was moving. I figured it was the sun reflecting off a satellite. But then it came back, and started moving erratically (I have seen this before in real life). I was overcame by an "oh no" feeling like I knew what was happening, I think I even said "oh no" out loud. But I don't remember why now.
The light got brighter as it hurled towards the horizon. I thought it was maybe a meteorite at this point. It hit the horizon but I saw no flash. I looked up at the sky, seeing very detailed dark grey clouds (night, hard to see) kind of thin and high up and scattered into globules, like cirrocumulous clouds.
Then the whole sky flashed orange, but it was as of nobody else in the restaurant noticed. I looked up at the horizon and my heart jumped - there was about seven planets very visible in the sky! Each one mapped with labels and boundaries, like it wasn't real planets we were seeing, but some kind of hologram. But at the same time it felt like they were really there.
I was so shocked I stood up and pointed and yelled "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" and when nobody paid attention I yelled "LOOK!".
Gasps and "OH!"s and murmurs erupted from people in the restaurant. Some people were frightened.
There was the most bizarre loud sound in the air too, a buzzing humming sound but not just any sound. It struck fear into me, but it was more of a fear of the unknown, like the irrational fear I used to have about space when I was a child. It was also very uplifting. It was like the planets were singing.
One in particular caught my eye because it had a big score across it like Mars' Valles Marineris. Except it was white with bluish and yellowish tones in between. It scared me the most just like Mars used to scare me.
Then, one by one each planet disappeared again, as if they were being reduced and compressed into tiny points of light. I thought to myself "so those spheres I was carrying were planets?!" I don't know why I thought that because I don't know what I was carrying.
Then I woke up.
