I am fairly new to this whole subject and have started from the beginning of attempting better recall with a journal. Since recording my normal dreams, I have noticed a bizarre reoccurance of hanging out with friends from High School. I have long since graduated college and working a career... and haven't seen or spoken with any of these High School aquaintences for years. What's the deal here? Is my subconscious mind still locked in the past? Do I need to reconcile something? I still haven't been able to become Lucid, or I'd simply ask these characters myself. Any ideas?

Perhaps a representation of regression; you arn't entirely comfortable with your present situation and think it was better and that you were happier back in school. You may have regrets.

Common dream signs may be signs of regret and past images - old schools and friends, etc.
