we may have to steal (read: borrow) that FAQ and post it up top, with the Search and Memberlist, etc. stuff.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

      Night 1: 2 parts

1st part: i had a low level lucid dream... which i guess is good for my first try... I had very little control because of low realization. took a long time to go to sleep (hope that changes over time...)

      part 2:
after 3:00am, I remember having no dreams...

so one low leel so far. I will try to do lots of reality checks today while I'm awake.

      ^_^

Sleep affects everything, EVERYTHING-the more sleep the better

Because lucid dreams occur during REM sleep.
During the first 6 hours of sleep you will get only a couple small periods of REM sleep, and if you sleep 2 hours more (8 hours in all) you will get twice the amount of REM than you would get on 6 hours of sleep.

And the more exhausted your brain/body is, the less your brain will recall.

Night 4: Yay a dream finally! I think it could be because I'm finally off the cold I've had for the past couple days. It was an indoor dream about my old girlfreind... whom I hate... But it was strangely OK. anyways... Still drawing similarities together for more RCs.

*sigh* maybe this will help with your journaling?

QUOTE
even if you don't remember anything, just sit and try to rememer something, like maybe places you often visit that may have been in the dream, people you think about alot, or even feelings...how did you feel when you woke up....chances are, you'll get SOMETHING. it may not be big...but still, it's a start. you could remember a part from a dream later in the day, something around you may trigger a memory, maybe something someone says....just keep that up, and soon you'll be recording whole dreams, then even several in one night!
      anyway good luck! ^_^

      Night 5: 2 Dreams tonight ^_^

Last night I had 2 dreams that were more-or-less about the same thing. I'm sure you've all had those dreams where you really wanted something and had a dream about having it, then you wake up right afterwards and didn't have it. That's what both my dreams were about. ... I recall earth tone colors and that my father was in both of them.. most other details are simply a blur.

EDIT: I remember another dream ^_^ ... I was at an arcade or something... and playing Pump it up (Like DDR) lol... i think it was my birthday or something... i remember driving there and stuff.

SO!! I've hada night with 3 recalled dreams YAY!

whats conciderd "2 dreams" anyways? is it simply a complete dream change or is it where you wake up remembering a dream then falling back asleep?

Night 6: Remember playing some games in 2 dreams last night...

This brings up a problem... A lot of my dreams are game related meaning it might be hard to notice some falseness in them since anything's possible ina a game as well.. Any ideas?

Also, no success on the WILD method this morning. Kept visualizing the car accelerating thing, but no hypnogogic imagry

This happens to me all the time. Something during the day will remind me of my dream. If this happens I always write it down somewhere so I can write it in my journal the next chance I get.

      Night 7: I'm getting closer

I had a dream I was in a very old cabin. Dream lasted for equiv. of 3.5 or so hours. Very strange feeling the entire time like I should be noticing something. It was on another level though.

I'm going to become lucid very soon i know.
