So I've been absent from this site for a few months and want to get back into my many attempts of getting more regular lucid dreaming that I've tried over the years.
Going to try to update this journal regularly with dreams to see if theres any kid of pattern emerging in my dreams. Gotten quite adept at updating journals now I'm writing a LJ and blogging occasionally on msn, used to write diaries a lot before I just forgot to do them lol.

Woke up this morning with a strange feeling buzzing through my head, something about my dreams last night already seemed different.
Dream 1: Not much of a dream, more a brief vignette involving me and a few people I used to know randomly sitting at a desk. It was rather hazy but the colours were hyperreal and brought out so that everything I saw was almost as if it was emitting its own light. If anyones seen the Animatrix imagine the colours that are in the Matriculated short... very much the same.
Dream 2: I was in a beautiful old house with green lawns, hills, huge french windows and brick masonry on the terrace. It struck me as on in the dream that I was here, and even more than I had the impression of deja vu and I knew where things were. Its a strange feature I have sometimes, an innate knowledge of things that seem to have been downloaded into my head for the purposes of the dream... A few segments took place inside of a little den on the lawn that was almost bordering on horror as the den once inside was like Doctor Who's Tardis, (I thought to myself in the dream that nothing is that dimensionally transcendal and that a small shack CAN'T exist in the real world... but lucidity didn't kick in.) The den was large, almost like a warehouse or stockroom, like the ones I used to hang around in when I went with my dad to work when I was little. We were trying to get into a room that we used to have open but now had been ceiled off. I managed to get inside. There was a strange Great Escape moment where we had designed a toilet to act as a hidden entrance to the inside of this room, replacing the stove they had in the film... we even had a little way of shunting the water from the sistern rigged up like they did to the stove in the film too! lmao! Anyway, storerooms don't usually bother me, but the darkness of the unlit aisles filled me with foreboding as a kid, probably still would. As the sun set and the den got darker I was really adament to my friends that we get out of there because I sensed something about the place that creeped me out. We went inside the house where we all relaxed on the sofa in this party. I was chatting to a girl I'm not certain I'm still friends with in real life (long story short, she led me on and invited me to a party last weekend which she then ignored me completely at) but in the dream she was back to being her old self, when we used to have a muck around together as friends and before she made things complicated. I asked her to meet me outside so we could go for a walk and chat bout things, since I wanted (as I do in real life) to remain friends with her if I can. She was a little apprehensive, then told me to meet her outside after the party was finished. I tried to get outside a few moments later but as I went through the kitchen I became really clumsy and got embarrased cause everyone stared at me for knocking a draw of cutlery on to the floor as I went past it. When I got outside I never got a chance to see if she was there cause I met someone else randomly in the gardens and began to talk, then I woke up.
Dream 3: Took place randomly back in this old inn by the sea with the waves splashing up so much it could easily get the customers outside wet. Not entirely sure what this dream was about or even mean?
Dream 4: A semiconscious dream I had as I tried to get back sleep and only last about 30 seconds of dream time. Wasn't really too dreamlike as most of it happened in real life. I was randomly chatting to my friend Samantha about the other night when she got hammered and I had to spend the night looking after her. She didn't know what to think about that since she couldn't remember me being there and wasn't sure what reason I had to look after her for? I was in the middle of just saying that its cause she's my oldest friend from college and I'm fond of her when I woke myself up cause my half awake brain told me I should wake up and see if I was going out today. Wasn't a dream, more of a halfawake reflection of things...
I think that Dream 2 is the dream that most freaked me out, I'm not really sure what to think about the foreboding den, the attitude of my friend and the strange fact that I know that I have been there in that place before in my dreams but can't remember when?! :?
