      DreamLobster's Journal

This being my first post in my journal, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who may take the time to read some of the stuff I wrote. I can't imagine this being too interesting at first, seeing as I am just starting out. Not trying to get my hopes up for tonight.

Well...here is last night's dream. Usually I will have more than 1 dream, but last night was a bad night for sleeping. Stayed up late and then crashed, so my recollection is not what it usually is. I remember going out of town for a convention of some kind for work. I am currently unemployed, so if I had come across this site yesterday, I might have forced myself to do a check if I thought about it. Anyways, I remember getting dressed up in a suit and tie and going to a restaurant. I had a date with me, and the woman I was with was not my fiancee (I am currently engaged). I knew this though. I knew that at home was my fiancee, but I was taking this woman to dinner. The restaurant was packed full of people, but I knew I had been there before. It was completely blue. The floor, the ceiling, the tables, everything. We walked to a corner booth and we both slid in the opposite ends, and meet in the middle facing out to the restaurant. There was a table of 3 women next to us. I don't remember what they looked like, but I knew I had seen them before as well. They laughed and giggled at me and I took it as the inside joke that I always brought a different woman to dinner and it was never my fiancee.

I don't remember what happened after that, so I will stop there. I know more happened, and I remembered it all this morning, but now it is all very vague and cloudy. I do know that this is a recurring dream for me. Everything seemed familiar because this is not the first time I have had this dream, or at least where it took place.

      Argh...!

So, my first attempts were disapointing, to say the least. I was tired when I layed down, but then I think I must have gotten myself worked up thinking about it to hard. Because, then I proceeded to lay there with my eyes open for a few hours. Finally, I stopped thinking about it and I must have drifted off because I woke up late this morning with no recollection of dreaming. Oh well...

I don't know what I expected on my first night. Not going to throw my hopes out the window. I have a lot more chances and I will take each failure and success one night at a time.
