Last night's dream had an amazing epic feel to it. It was extremely scary at parts, but I didn't shit my pants, so the dream was definitely worth it. Kinda like watching a real good scary movie, except I was in it. I wish I could make justice to it through great storytelling and images, but it would take me too long to describe all the details. So, without further ado, here's last night's dream:

A Meeting With the "Old Hag"
Me and my sister were looking for a new house. The Realtor took us to this big house that was going for a really good price. The house was located in a very remote location, with no other houses around. The house was very big from the outside. The architecture reminded me of the olden houses from 19th century with big rustic accents. The yard was covered with autumn leaves and the trees were naked. There was a heavy feeling about this house from the instant I set my eyes on it.
As we stepped inside the house, we could see more clearly the age of the house. The floors were cracked, the wood was starting to deteriorate, and the paint was peeling off the walls. I felt an even heavier presence being felt as we got inside the house. The Realtor seemed uneasy, but was quick to point out the good price of the house.
"It needs work" he stated, "but once you renovate it, this house will be worth a lot of money! It has a huge outdoor, and the accents around the house are like no other."
After this, me and my sister went on to exploring the inside of the house. The Realtor was no longer in the dream. It was now just me, my sister, the house, and the feeling of an ever growing dangerous presence. My sister wanted to check each and every room, as she got more and more excited about the house. I remained uneasy and tried to convince her to just leave multiple times.
After we had gone through the rooms in the first floor, we sat down on the main stairway and talked for a bit. I took a peak at what was in store on the second floor, but the stairway only led to a small dark room which was connected to a small wooden porch. I just knew there was something lurking inside that dark room, a presence just watching and waiting for us. Something that had been living in that house for ages, something that I could not explain. My sister then stood up and said "ok, let's go check the upstairs now."
"No... let's just go."
"But we haven't been there yet. I have to see how the upstairs is like."
"No Adriana! Let's just go... there is nothing there, I took a peek already, it's just a small room and that tiny porch over there. Let's just go, we've been here for way too long already."
As we started walking out, I could feel this presence following us. I could feel it's breath on my neck and its shadow consuming us. I grabbed my sister's hand to rush our way out. We got back to the living room and I saw an old book case with many books and videos on the history of this house.
"Go ahead and get out through those windows Adriana, quick. I'm just going to grab some of these so that I can find out more about this house later on."
As she was making her outside through the window I managed to grab as many videos and dusty books as I could hold on my arms and rushed my way outside.
"I have no idea what that was Adriana, but I'm glad we're outside now. There was something that did not want us in there." I said to my sister.
"Yeah, I felt a little strange when we were walking around that house. I'm not sure what it was that I felt though. Wait a second, where's Rajiv?" (her husband).
"He wasn't here to begin with. What are you talking about?" I replied.
"No, I can hear him... he's calling for me, I have to go find him!" As she dashed back towards the house. The dead leaves on the ground floated up following her trail. The branches of the trees were flowing like smooth silky hair on the wind and all pointing in her direction.
"NO ADRIANA, DON'T!"
As I ran after her I heard the sound of a maniacal female laugh echoing in the wind.
"Come back Adriana!!!"
I lost sight of her as I lost sight of where she had gone. I stood looking around for a second wondering what had happened to her. Then I started walking aimlessly in one direction in hopes of finding her. The air felt misty and I saw no signs of the house or my sister. I only saw the dead leaves on the ground and the lonely trees that surrounded me.
As I walked further in search of my sister, the scene of the dream changed. I was still outdoors on top of the fallen leaves the the dead trees around, and yet, there was a sense that I was in a room - a lair. I looked up and I saw what could be best described as "the old hag" - a daemon, witch, or succubus if you will. Around her, there were the bodies of 4 people, hung upside down from thin air. My sister's husband was among the bodies. They were all in a deep eternal sleep, looking cold and soulless. In front of the hag, was the head of my sister attached to her upper torso. There was no blood, and yet, she looked just as lifeless as the other bodies.
In response to my questioning the situation in my mind, the hag said that my sister would have to sing for her for all of eternity. With no sleep, and no rest. My sister's soul was bound to this curse for all of infinity.
Although I got this response, the hag didn't seem to notice me. I sneaked forward while grasping an old rusty scrap, reminiscent of a spear. I approached closer and closer to the hag, who was floating on the air, unaware of my presence. Her hair floated like brisk summer wind as she calmly appreciated my sister's soulless singing.
Once underneath the hag, I punctured her in one shot. The spear went in through her buttocks and out through her chest. She shrieked a most painful cry as she tried to get away. With the horrendous cry, the body of the 5 people, including my sister and her husband, fell back on the ground taking their normal form. They laid on the ground dazed and knocked out but alive.
As I struggled to keep the spear punctured through the hag, her color and form changed as she twisted and strained in agonizing pain. The sky turned red and the leaves were blown away with the sudden strong winds. She shrilled and screamed trying to free herself. As she cried "This will not be the end of it.... my sisters will come for you!" she managed to break free and flee.
I woke up after this battle, feeling good that I didn't have to meet with her sisters... just yet.
