Just some history
Hey whats up, Im new to the boards and I just wanted to give some info about my process and progress.
I just started out in lucid dreaming for a while, but I have been heavily interested in a wide range of unexplainable phenonemon. I first looked up information about chi/ki/qi, a few years ago and tried some techniques. The only thing I had progress in was a chi ball and that was very questionable. I then, took a few years off of that after doing the "chi ball" excersise for about two weeks, off and on. Pretty much when ever I got bored and was totally in private.
On March 1st 2006, I came across a site called "psipog.com." It sounded amusing at first and pretty much expected the same thing about chi, but I soon learned that it had a "blimpie subs" concept. Funny name, serious sandwich. When I first started I looked at some of the videos and 'studied' them. They seems really kinda fake except for a few points that I, to this day, still say that someone would have a hard time faking... (website for those curious: http://www.psipog.net/media.php ) So call me crazy, but I tried it exactly how it was told, to the "t".
So two weeks later I get some results. One night I am doing my usual practice, after reading some of the site's articles and feeling some strange sort of feeling. I had then just took up meditating after someone on the site stated that it would really help, so I did. That, with the combinationg of constant practice and, throwing aside some rumored aspects about psi. (One is that people usually get hungry after practicing and I did not.) I had developed this strange feeling in my body that was only brought out by meditating and trying to move this rediculous little psiwheel. I gave my self two more weeks after that to get some hard evidence basically to myself. After that I started feeling unexplainable 'flashes' of this psi and was more or less even more convenced that there was something here.
I then found something on OBE's and someone posted this site. This is the first post and the first day I registered, I have been surfing for over 4 weeks. The first thing I was shown was a HILD tutorial post and looked through and tried it out. Before that I read "Out of Body Experiences: How to Have Them, And What To Expect" By: Robert Peterson, and after looking at the HILD tutorial I saved the site, and decided to use that to have an OBE. It was alittle after getting into OBE's that some people claimed it was the same as and LD so i decided to try it out and see what happened. The results were staggering. The vibrations nearly scared the everloving shit out of me, and my arms started to float. That was when i was fully convinced.
I started looking at lucid dreams alittle further and decided that i must have one. I did WILDs, which were even creepier, and hemi-sync, and I dont have a headset, so it really does no good. I came acrossed Rythme-Napping, and tried it out. Basically, rythme-napping is waking up three hours earlier than usual (even though i do it during the day too.) and setting up a program that splits up 6 different times at predetermained intervals. The pattern is, 8min, 4min, 8min, 12min, 16min, 20min, 20min, 6min. I usually sleep through all of that to either 16 or the first 20 and have a crazy dream, feel like i have sept for a while, and get up only to find the timer is on the first 20 at 15:20 or something. So thats when i decided to look further into the aspects of lucid dreams and those are, Dream recall, Dream signs, and Reality checks. Dream recall helps remember your dreams in the first place, so you can find your Dream Signs, then use a Reality check to make yourself realise your dreaming. So i guess this would be a step towards better dream recall.
I have started doing reality checks, but i still have no idea what my dream signs are, and i hope starting this journal will help. I have left replies on because i would like some feedback on my journals so i can have second opinions on dream signs. I am about to start a R-N (rythme-napping) session, so i will edit this, or post a reply with my dream.

EDIT: No dream that session... Too many interuptions to have a decent nap.
