So I'm pretty bad about keeping a journal and I figure having it online like this will give me more motivation to record everything I remember...we'll see if it works.

I remember many dreams from before I knew what lucid dreaming was, and I'm going to try to write as many of them down as I can remember from since I was a child. Just finished with exams, so I *finally* have some free time to really devote to improving the quality and frequency of my lucids! This first entry will be just a bunch of dreams I remember and half-remember, so don't expect anything amazing.

As per what I've seen on other DJs, lucid parts are in blue.

1 - My very first false awakening. I was probably about 8 years old, waking up to go to school. I heard my mom call me from downstairs, so I got up and started to walk out of my room. I was already fully clothed, with shoes on, but for some reason I didn't find this odd at all. However, when I went to go down the stairs, I started floating down towards my mother, slow-motion style, instead of actually using the stairs. Not normal. I had no idea what was going on, as I had never been lucid in a dream (that I could remember), so I didn't really know what to make of it. I finished floating down the stairs, woke up for real, and never looked at dreams in the same way again.

2 - This dream must have been sometime in highschool. I dreamed about Frankenstein chasing me all around my city (we read Shelley's Frankenstein in 9th grade. DAMN that guy was freakin scary in my dream, it was just like the book, no matter what I did or where I went, he was right there in the distance chasing after me). This must have been one of the first dreams where I actually realized that I couldn't run at normal speed, it was as if I was running through water or something. It was not until recently (a couple of days ago that I realized that this is one of my dream signs, and it has helped me realize that I'm dreaming since then.

3 - This isn't a dream so much as an observation. I have many dreams where I don't necessarily realize that I'm dreaming, but I "half" do, and by this I mean I realize I can fly. I don't come to the understanding that I am dreaming, but I realize that if I want to I can jump in the air and fly away. Weird, flying around when you're not even lucid. Usually, when I realize I'm dreaming, I just kind of say it, then change what I'm doing, then become non-lucid again (like the harry potter dream below). I'm trying to change that.

4 - Had a dream about parachuting out of a really freakin high plane. Don't remember much besides it was awesome.

5 - This is one of my all-time favorites: There was a huge battle going on. Think middle ages: plate mail, chain mail, ring mail, e-mail (haha jk), huge swords, colorful coat-of-arms, banners, catapults, shields, knights, archers, etc. I have a shield, sword, and some plate mail on, and the screams of war and clash of metal on metal is all around me. But we're not fighting in an ordinary medieval setting, no, we're fighting on and next to pyramids. These pyramids weren't too big, but there were interesting because they were raised very, very high off the ground, say, 100 feet, and each pyramid was separated by about 5 feet of emptiness, each flanked by about 5-10 feet of flat yellow surface before the pyrmaid started where everyone was ruunning around battling. People were jumping from pyramid to pyramid, arrows flying everywhere, and fires were blazing in the night sky. I whack someone off the ledge, turn around, and there's an oppent standning over me, his brown beard protruding messily from under his metal helmit. He smacks me in the stomach with his sword, sending me flying into the abyss between pyramids, and starts laughing. I can feel the warm blood welling from inside the spot where he hit me, and I'm falling downwards in slow motion. Now here's the part I will never forget: As I'm falling, the guy starts laughing and says, "Because you're not from Westerville! Hahaha!" (Westerville is a city where I live). To this day, whenever I meet anyone from Westerville, I am instantly suspicious of them.

6 - Was one of the heroes in Captain America and the Avengers. Pretty sweet. Forget what we did though.

7 - The first nightmare I remember: I was up in my room at my old house, when suddenly I was picked up off of the ground by and invisible force and started slowly floating out the door and down the stairs. As I went down the stairs, my body turned and started going towards the family room...and sitting on the couch in the family room was none other than E.T. He has his arms and long, thin, ugly fingers stretched out towards me and his eyes were glowing an evil, bright red as I helplessly floated towards my doom. Then I woke up right when I got to him. I cannot explain the sheer horror I felt during this dream. Right now, just writing about it, I get horrible chills.

8 - On a side note, is that what nightmares are like for some people? I don't consider being chased, or being locked up, or whatever else to be a "nightmare"...those are pussy ass shit that happen all the time. When I talk about a nightmare, I'm talking about a dream so indescribably horrible that you feel like you are, for lack of a better way to put it, in hell. Just thinking about the sheer, pertrifying horror of these dreams is enough to make every hair on my body stand up. Luckily, however, during these sorts of dreams the terrible feeling is so incredibly intense that my mind wakes me up (or I do just to get out of it) before too much time has passed. In these dreams, I usually end up screaming and screaming and screaming my lungs out while I am waking up, making me unsure sometimes if I was screaming in real life or not. No one has ever told me I was screaming though, so I guess it's just from the dream.

9 - This was the first dream where I actually said to myself, "Hey, wait, I'm dreaming," so it was a momentous moment and one that I will never forget. Me and my best friend were playing at my house (this was probably when I was 8-11 years old). The ceiling above the stairs had some sweet monkey-bars like things that we were swinging around on and doing gymnast-like flips and dismounts onto the stairs. All of a sudden, an animal-like roar rips through the air and freezes us in ur tracks. "Oh no, what was that?" I said to my friend. "We'd better get out of here," he told me. So we run down the stairs and into the dinning room, and what to we see through the sliding glass doors? Velociraptors. Lots of them. And they look hungry. This is not good. So we run to my front door, run outside, and start running for our lives. halfway down the block, though, it hits me. We are running from dinosaurs. DINOSAURS, for christ's sake. Like, what the hell? Is this terror I'm feeling even real? After all, dinosaurs DON'T EXIST. Then I realized I must be dreaming, and that this wasn't real at all. But, I had no idea what to do about it, because my realizing that this was a dream didn't change the fact that 10-20 hungry dinosaurs we chasing me. I looked back and I saw the dinosaurs running towards us, and my friend was freaking out because I stopped running. "What are you doing????!! We have to run away!!! They're going to eat us!!!" I remember how hard it was to ignore my best friend in this kind of situation...after all, what if I was wrong? Both of our deaths would be my fault. But I didn't know what else to do. Against the pleas of my friend, I took my head in my hands and just kept repeating to myself, "Wake up, wake up, wake up..." the dinosaurs were closing in, so I resorted to extreme measures and bashed my head against a nearby tree as hard as I possibly could. I woke up in my bed not being sure what to think anymore.

10 - OK, not going to lie, I used to be obsessed with Halo (the xbox game). I played that shit 24/7 and consequently had a few dreams (non-lucid, sadly) about it. One that sticks out is where I was driving around the map Blood Gulch in a warthog, only the warthog could fly, and so could all the players I was playing! (jetpacks or something, I guess). It was very satisfying to run over people flying in the air with a flying jeep.

11 - Another dream I had a little while ago was set in this immense rock structure with green vines growing everywhere. It was one of those place that is so big and beautiful and ancient feeling that you cant help but lose yourself in it and become one with the surroundings. Anyway, I forget how, but I realized I was dreaming. I decided that I should have a wand and start doing harry potter spells! I went down into a cave, which I unlocked using "alohomora." The inside was decorated just like an Egyptian pyramid would be, with torches, heiroglyphics, etc. Obviously, the Egyptians were my enemyin. The first one came around the corner, and I dispatched him with a disarming spell (expelliarmus). Then another one came at me and I tried to get him with "crucio" (the torture one), but it hit him and didn't seem to do anything. He was closing in on me and I yelled "avada kedavra" over and over but he just laughed and said something to the effect "you cant use that on me." then he attacked me and I woke up. This was cool because it was lucid, but I could only do spells that I could remember the name of and how to say (consequently I was pretty disadvataged in battle b/c i couldn't remember the names of spells on the fly).

12 - FIRST WILD - This was probably one of the coolest experiences of my life. It happened about a year ago. I woke up in the morning at like 9, decided it was too early to get up, and tried to go back to sleep. As I was lying there, for some reason, my mind didn't completely shut off when I was falling asleep. I began to feel this really weird, intense vibration in my head, and my arms felt like they were going up and down THROUGH my matress. OK...this is really weird, I thought, WTF is going on (i didnt even know what a WILD was or even really grasp the concept of lucid dreaming) but I just went with it because I didn't see what other choice I had. Then...well its hard to describe what happened next. First of all, I was floating in a clear blue sky with this train thing coming towards me. It was just like a steam engine, chugging along through the sky at an incredible speed, except for some reason I could tell it was a "happy" train (don't ask...I don't know). The was the most beautiful and inspiring train ever...it was speeding majestically through the sky on tracks that didn't exist, and I was capitivated by the realism of everything, of the clouds next to the train, of the train's whistle, of the ground below me. There was a circle of bright light the train was headed towards, and I followed along by instinct, taking in the beautiful sights of the countryide around me. Bursting through the light, I found myself floating down towards the ground on the street in front of my house. Only this wasn't reality, I knew it was a dream...and it couldn't be reality, because reality was never this real. It was autumn, and the brilliant colors of the leaves on the trees were so indescribably perfect and precise, and the swirling wind felt like something not of this world as it brushed against my face. I really was so struck by the hyper-reality of the world that I had no idea what to do...it's like I could see the truth in everything, if that makes any sense. Sadly, before I could do anything else, I awoke. But I will never forgot that scene, and for the rest of the day, I was completely refreshed and had a feeling of complete happiness. Pretty cool, still haven't had a WILD or LD that was as real as that since then, and I didn't even know what was going on! Now when I WILD, it is hard to make it into the dream successfully because during the vibrations I get scared or my heart starts beating realllllllly fast because I think to myself "OMG IM ABOUT TO DO IT!!!" I think its funny I managed to have an incredible WILD without knowing what it was. I thought I was crazy when I woke up, and didn't think anyone would believe me if I told them I stayed concious even when falling asleep, but then I found this sight and realized lots of people can do it!

That's it for now, I'm tired of writing. I'll post more up to date dreams later.

Thought I talked to my dad on the phone, but realized later in the day I did that during my sleep. Don't remember anything else.

1 - I was at a wedding, or at least I think it was a wedding. Everyone was dressed very nice, dresses, tuxes, etc., and it the party was being held in a very big mansion. I was in the middle of a ball room, and there was music playing and about 15 of us were doing some kind of weird line dance. First we would dance around in a circle, then form 2 different single file lines facing each other and sort of weave in and out of each other, clasping hands with each person we went by. A few of us, including me, kept on screwing up and getting out of order or holding the wrong person's hand, but everyone just laughed and no one seemed to care we were messing up. The dance really didn't make any sense in the first place, anyway. After the dance, a man stands up and announces that there is delicious homemade fudge in the reception room, and people scatter off, socializing in small groups or heading for the fudge. Somehow, I already have 2 pieces in my hand, and they are covered in a kind of plastic wrap, so i unwrap them and take a taste. It is without a doubt the most delicious fudge I've ever had...damn that tasted good. I want to get some more, but for some reason I feel really uncormfortable, like I don't know anyone here, so I decide to go down to the floor below and go to the bathroom. I realized on my way down there that I was trying to avoid Marissa (from the OC), so I realized I must be the character Ryan on the OC. Weird, because I don't really watch that show often, but I guess maybe it makes sense because I have the same name as the character and go to the same school that the character's actor did. Anyway, I heard Marissa come down the stairs behind me, but I didn't want it to get really awkward (I don't know why it would have been, it just felt like it), so I ducked into the bathroom and closed the door, then I woke up. I remember thinking how weird it was that I was in the OC, as I didn't remember being in it before, but I stupidly just assumed it to be real life.

2 - For some reason I was back home in C-bus, not at school, but I had to leave by Saturday. I called John and Nigel and went over to John's house. Jeremy was there, too. We were watching some sort of football game on TV, talking and drinkin some beers.

3 - I was in some sort of big library complex thing, sitting in some room that was rather like a classroom. Brian and Bryant were there. They were talking about how much they liked the University, but they wished that once in a while someone from a big city like New York would come and visit. I don't really know what they meant, maybe employers or something. I've been wanting to get a tattoo, so that pops into my head and I exit the room to go look for a book about tattoos in the library (there's something I'm not using correctly in the room, but I have no idea what it is). There's a strange stairway that zig-zags up a couple floors, with glass windows under and around it with people working at desks behind the windows. As I walk up the stairs it turns third-person and I get a panning movie-style shot of the staircase and me walking up it. I get to the top, and I see Brendan, and think to myself, "Gee, I haven't seen or talked to him in forever." However, for some reason I'm content to simply yell from thirty feet away that I'm going to get a tattoo before winter break ends. He replies with the usual "really, wow, cool," but I just sort of walk away to find the book I want. James appears out of nowhere and helps me find the tattoo book. Its very narrow and tall and has metal spirals at the top that keep it together, so its just like a notepad. John and Nigel show up somehow, and Nigel says he wants to get a tattoo as well, and goes and picks something out from the wall, which is filled with dozens of tattoos designs. John remarks how odd it is for Nigel to want a tattoo, but not for me, because I was always drawing shit on myself when I was yonger (good reasoning, I guess?). I agree, citing one time where I tattooed and elaborate design in the Pittsburgh Steelers colors with the word "Law" on the back of my right hand (I never actually did this).

4 - I was talking to my politics professor about comparative advantage and African countries, we were standing on the wooden balcony of some house. There were stairs going down to the ground, and I walked down them. There was another dude that was with me, and even though I didn't know him I knew he was known for having temper problems. A cripple with a limp was walking by, and out of nowhere this dude starts wailing the cripple for no reason. Me and my friend Akeem jump in and try to stop the fight, but he jumps in his really nice, expensive black car and speeds away. However, Akeem and I manage to scratch up the car pretty good using our keys and teeth.

I wake up, and very grogilly go back to sleep after deciding not to write it down...

5 - WILD - I immediately fall right back into a dream, but easily keep awareness into the dream. HOLY SHIT, I'm thinking, I just WILD'd and now I'm in a dream, this is freakin awesome! I'm lying in my bed coming to terms with the fact that I'm dreaming, when it hits me: This place is dark and scary and lonely. The black shapes in my dark dream-room start menacingly swirling and blurring, and for a moment I panicked and thought the dream was going to end. Then I somehow formed my resolved and jumped up screaming, "INCREASE CLARITY!" over and over and waving my arms frantically. It worked! Everything stableized went back to normal (well, normal for a dream) and the dark night quickly turned to day. At this point I'm ecstatic, because I realize I can do anything I want! I remember common reality checks, and I set out to prove that I can force a lightswitch to work in a dream. I realize the lights aren't supposed to work, so I announce to the room that "This lightswitch will work!" and flip it and...nothing. Darn. At least I know I'm dreaming though. I turn to the window, and run over to it, almost jumping out of it...but for some reason I get a nagging feeling that it might not actually be a dream, so I might get hurt if I jump out of a two story window. My cat was running around my room at top speed at this point and he's driving me crazy, so I leave my room and run downstairs. However, halfway down the stairs, I decide to jump the rest of the way down...hahaha that sure was fun. I landed on my side on the floor, and sort of bounced up and down as if the floor were a trampoline, and it shook my vision and disoriented me for a little bit. Lying on my back, I decided to will myself up instead of actually standing up, because, after all, it was a dream! "Up! Up! Up!" I kept on screaming, and eventually my body simply righted itself with no physical effort on my part. Pretty cool. This is one of my first REAL lucids with good control, so I was kinda stumped as to what to do next because I hadn't really given any thought to what I would do in a good lucid. I felt lonely, so I decided I would summon a girl to keep me company. A knock came at the door, and I opened it to see...well, a rather unattractive girl and immediately regretted not specifying anything further. Luckily, she was trying to sell me something, so I just said I wasn't interested and she left. Not repeating the same mistake, I summoned a pretty girl who was attracted to me. I opened the door and greeted her with a hug and a kiss (don't really remember what she looked like besides being generically pretty with brown hair). I was surprised by how realisted the hug and kiss felt...usually in dreams my senstations like that are pretty dulled but this felt very real. There was also a man comming up the driveway, so I greeted him and welcomed them both into the house. I felt like I had to entertain my guests, so, remembering the December tasks, I told the man that I was going to read his mind! Both of them laughed, but for some reason I knew I could do it. I closed my eyes and stretched out my fingers and hands toward the man's forehead and put all my effort into reading his mind. To my surprize, even though my eyes were closed, I could "see" a huge jaw-like thing opening and clamping down on my outstretched hands! Obviously, if his mind was trying to eat my hands, he must be hungary, so I decided to give him something to eat as a gift. I put my hands behind my back, imagined first a piece of cake and then a piece of pie (i could somehow see what was behind my back before I brought it into view). I announced that he was hungry and presented him with a nice piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream on top. Both of them laughed, the man said thanks and started eating. The three of us sit down to watch some TV. I wanted to have some appetizers, though, so I got up and turned my back to the dinning room table and said to myself, "When I turn around there will be some delicious appetizers on this table!" When I turned around though, all I got was a lousy bowl of white chocolate covered pretzles. I offered them to both my guests and started eating some myself. Actually, they tasted pretty good, but I was expecting something a bit more creative from myself. The girl invited me to sit in the same chair as her, and I accepted, though the chair wasn't big enough and we were having a hard time fitting in it together, and as we were fidgeting I woke up. Damn, that was so realistic, I can't wait to have another one like it, and I'll definitely be ready to do some cooler things next time.

      Fun dream last night!

I was atop this island structure that came up out of the ocean about what looked like 1000 feet, at least. On all sides was a sheer cliff leading right down into the ocean. I've been playing a lot of Black & White lately, so I think I was inside the video game somewhat, at least at the begining. There were at least one or two other entities on the island with me, we were conectrated in this area of lush green pastures and forests. But I decided to explore. I moved like you do in Black & White, I moved my little hand and grabbed the terrain and pulled and zoomed in and out and rotated around this way and that. There was a stone pillar rising 1000s of feet out of the water about 50 feet away from the back of the island, so I went over to investigate. The pillar itself wasn't very cool, but when I turned around I saw a crack in the island that went from the bottom all the way to the top. The island wall was made out of some sort of greyish stony material, and just the sight of the immense crack in the side of it was pretty breathtaking, considering the ocean around it, lush green on top, and shining sun with blue sky. I zoomed in close to the crack and went inside. I immediately felt like I had entered a place where no other living creature had been for 1000s of years, and I felt like I was about to discover something really cool that the other entities on the top of the island were going to want to hear about and be jealous of. The inside of the crack was a mess of twists and turns and different converging levels, and it all had a bluish-black glow. On the ground, I saw what I thought was a "moon-stone" (don't ask me why, I don't really know what they are), it was glowing blue and they are very, very valuable and rare. But, upon closer inspection, it was a chute where you could slide down to the next level or be spit out onto this level. Certain places in the cave were pressurized, it seemed, and you could travel up by entering one of the pressurized areas. These areas had a swirling greyish character to them. I ventured further down the path I was on and took a right turn, and then another. Deep in the heart of the cavern at this point, I encounted a ghost and a skeleton (I think). At first I was scared, but I realized they couldn't hurt me, so I picked one up and messed with it by tossing it around. The cavern turned out to be very uneventful, though it did have an awesome, ancient feel to it, so I decided to go back up to the top of the island and report what I had found to the others.

So ends part 1 of the dream. When I got back up to the top, I wanted to do more exploring, but this time on the top of the island. Now, however, I was in third-person view mode over myself, and I was, more or less, a knight outfitted for battle (armor, sword, etc.). Also, my brother was going to explore with me as well. We set off, and I went right and he went left around a mountain like thing and we were going to meet on the other side. However, we encountered a "boss," and we each had to take out his protective barrier thing before we could fight the boss (kinda hard to explain clearly). There were 2, one at each of our positions, so I took mine out first by flipping over the man-sized thimble thing that was 1 part of thje barrier. Inside was a floating grey sphere with the letter "B" on it, and my brother (now about 50 times as big as my character and not wearing armor) flicked it at me, and it blew up. I thought I was going to be hurt, but it actually didnt do anything. My "huge" brother disappeared, but so did my brother's character. He ran away because he thought it was too hard to break the barrier and didn't want to fight the boss. I, however, acting as a valiant knight should, ran over to my brother's side and knocked over the other barrier with my huge, badass sword and then yelled something like "stage cleared!" as I stuck the sword triumphantly in the ground. The camera at this point was panning all around me. The way was now cleared to the boss.

Part 3: Now the dream shifted once again. This time, I was in first-person mode, so it was like I was actually there. I was in some sort of freaky ass old mansion. This mansion, if this makes any sense, was shaped like a square and had a relatively small perimiter. However, there seemed to be a disproportionate number of staircases and hallways and different levels and confusing areas for the small perimiter that defined it. Some areas were dimly lit, other were very well lit with multicolored blue, pink, and purple lights. Immediately, I was on the defensive. I mean, this boss guy was freakin wicked. He could shoot some sort of yellow laser bolt things out of his hands, he was laughing and cackling all the time, he zoomed around the mansion flying through the hallways and staircases superman style, and he looked like, for lack of a better description, a derranged uncle same (top hat too, just different colors). It almost looked like he was riding on a stormcloud. Anyway, this guy was after me for a while, chasing me in and out of rooms and hallways. I was really scared, but then I remember I had my huge sword with me. This sword was so badass; it was at least body length (the whole thing, not just the blade), was super wide, and had a really jagged and wicked looking tip and a razor sharp hook that came of the very tip and went straight back down. This thing was MEAN. I ducked around a corner in the back of the house and waited for the guy to come around the corner. He knew what I was up to though, so he opened a door just next to where I was, went into the room, and tried to grab me though the wall. It was pretty cool, his hand and arm came through the wall like it was made of silly putty, but he couldn't quite grab me. I charged around the corner, threw open the door, and started wailing on his with my sword. BASH BASH BASH BASH over and over again as we were sprinting down a staircase I raised my sword with both my arms and rained down pain from the jagged edge (hey, thats what I'll call that sword if I ever see it in my dreams again: Jagged Edge). However, I realized that the guy had turned into my brother, and my brother was blocking my hits with his arms, which were covered in plate mail. We were running down the stairs at this point, I was running backwards, still swining, and took my sword back for another swing, but this time thrust the tip at my brother's unprotected neck ( he wasn't wearing a helmit). The sword made a sickening "gish" as it sunk into the front of his neck, and we both stopped running as I pulled it out. Blood dripped from the sword and the huge wound on his neck, but my brother seemed unphased. I turned around and ran down the stairs into the kitchen. Still dripping blood, my brother ran and over and got some knives and started throwing them at me. I dodged the first few deftly, and was scared by the fact that they stuck into the walls (sharp knives&#33 But as I turned to run, I saw a few whiz passed me and saw they were only regular knives, not sharp steak knives. I still wanted to run, though. So I ran from my brother for a good few minutes while he was throwing knives at me. The mansion opened up a bit and was not so cluttered and confusing as before. I would try to describe the staircases that were in place, but it would take me probably half an hour to do so. Suffice it to say, if you have ever played the "Waterworks" map in Halo 2, and been to the center structure where there confusing set of double ramps are that you can jump back and forth between and end up coming out different ends, that was a bit what it was like. I dodged him while jumping back and forth between staircases, which was pretty fun. Then, however, my brother turned into my best friend, and ran down the stairs not noticing me. At the top corner of the mansion, I found a piece paper I instantly recognized as a page out of one of the 8 sacred spellbooks!

Part 4 - Now the masion was even less cluttered: all there was was one path that traced the perimiter of the square, it went up a staircase on one side, was high above in the back, then down the next staircase on the other side, and there was a common open area on the side without the staircases. I read the page of the spellbook, but the page was on parchment paper or some kind of weird weaved cloth paper and the writing was all messed up and I could barely understand it. Some of it seemed to be in braile, or deteriorating in front of my eyes. I was up against my best friend, and he cast two things right away: a bubble and a green pile of leaves. These two things floated towards me and stopped about halfway between me and him, acting as a barrier that would deflect any spells I cast (bubble and leaves from Mega Man 2, perhaps?) As I could only remember one spell, all I could do was fire away at him. I forget what the incantation was, there might not even have been one (which was probably why it was so weak), but my spell was something like a fireball that moved really slowly and was therefore easy to dodge. The first couple I fired were really small and weak and got abosorbed by the bubble and leaves (no the leaves did not catch fire). But then I concentrated my power, let of a low rumbling roar and sent off a much larger and more powerful fire blast. I did this a couple of times, and the bubble and leaves did not block them because they would have been demolish. But, because the blasts were so slow moving, my friend easily dodged them. Short of causing a bunch of damage to the staircase, I wasn't getting anywhere, so I was kinda stuck. There was one spell I wanted to remember soooo badly because I knew it was my favorite one and would work really well, it was called "Turquoise." But, I needed all 8 spellbooks to look through, and, first of all, I didn't have the time, and second of all, I didn't have the books. Luckily, my dream shifted somewhat again, and I was no longer fighting my best friend 2 girls, one was my friend Kathy and one I didn't know. We were in the open common area, and on the picnic table in the middle were all 8 books! If I could only get the chance to read them, I would be fine, but how could I do that in the middle of a battle? Somehow, I remember two other spells, only one of which I remember now. But one of the spells shot sticky spider web stuff out and wrapped around an opponet, incapacitating them. The incantation for this was "Senbonzakura" (this is actually the name of Kuchiki Byakuya's Zanpakutoh in Bleach, I don't know why my mind made this the spell name as it is nothing like the "real" Senbonzakura). Anyway, I yelled this a bunch of times and before long my opponents were all tied up and I was free to read all 8 books. Somehow, I did this very fast, and found the secret to my favorite spell, "Turquoise." The dream shifted, and I was sitting on the floor playing a videogame with my brother and my friends, and I saw on the screen that I had to hit "right, right, down, A" to shoot turquoise. My dad appeared, and we all talked about some stuff and I woke up. I remember it was a saturday night, and my dad said that I was just going to drink all night.

PHEW...done. Maybe this is why I don't post my dreams more...it takes me, no joke, an hour to write ONE down.

      2 LDs

First one was a WILD, woke up at 8 am, thought I wouldnt be able to do it because it was light and kinda loud in my house, but I tried and lo and behold there I was in SP. went to blackness, rolled over and fell out of my bed, but backwards from how i usually sleep so i knew it was a dream. only lasted like 5 seconds though, for some reason I couldnt look straight, it was as if I was looking out of the corner of my eye at everything so I couldnt focus on anything.

Woke up, went back to sleep, and found myself in a dream, so not sure if I just realized it or it was another WILD. don't feel like writing everything that happened. One crappy thing though was I took off flying, zoomed around for a bit, saw a factory in the distance and decided to fly to it. but, there was a fence in the way, about a 10 foot tall fence, but even though I was flying above it I couldnt get by. this frustrated me so I put all my effort into it and tried to zoom there, and I felt myself going super fast, as wind was rushing by me, but I actually went BACKWARDS in the air a bit and couldnt get by the fence. weird and frustrating.

Another WILD last night. "Woke up" in my room and got up, trying to stabilize the dream, but nothing I was trying was working (shouting "increase crontrol, increase lucidity," etc. Felt my eyes opening in real life, but tried to keep them closed while still being in the dream and seeing, it was a weird feeling. Maybe they weren't opening in real life, maybe it was just the light from my room (it was about 8-9 am so it was already pretty light out). Was successful in keeping one eye in the dream, but the other succumbed to the light and was flooded by brightness, making half the dream very bright white and the other half (my left eye) still normal. Woke up right away, though. Maybe I'll get an LD I can stay in for christmas!

Had another crazy long non-lucid dream that night, but I'm too lazy to write it down; just takes to damn long. I remember it fine anyway so whatever.

Another WILD. Went through all the vibrations and ended up in blackness, so I knew I was dreaming. Tried to open my eyes and get up, but I knocked the chair next to my bed over as I did so. The chair and the noise it made against the ground felt and sounded so real I thought it might not be a dream after all, but I looked at the door to my room and saw that it was open, so I knew it really was a dream (I always close my door at night). Got up and walked out the door, everything was too dark and not fully under control (I wasn't stabalized yet) so it was hard to do anything. I saw two black, short figures in the darkness in the room ahead of me, and started commanding things such as "increase lucidity" and "light" a flare lit up on the ground and showered sparks into the air, and the goblin-dwarf things, both wearing pointy hats, ran away. This was pretty terrible control, I wanted it to become light in the room and daytime outside. Everything started to go hazy and I woke up.

I need to learn how to stabilize better. As soon as I realize I'm in the dream I get all frantic and start yelling commands and running from room to room and the dream ends in like 10 seconds before I can do anything or gain control. Next time I should just calmly sit down and establish control and vividness by looking at things in the room, books, my hands, the walls, etc. and making a few simple things appear.

Don't remember what I was doing before in the dream, but I realized I was dreaming and took off flying. There might have been some people with me, I can't remember clearly. I think we had some objective we had to accomplish, like some military mission of some sort, but I was lucid so I didn't really care. I kept on flying back and forth, seeing just how fast I could go, concentrating as hard as I could on getting to my destination in as little time possible. There were these huge pine tree things that I kept on whipping in and out of, it was really fun. I decided, since I was lucid, I might as well try to do something really hard to work on my control in LDs. I sped up as fast as possible, then tried to stop on a dime and change direction without losing any speed. I don't mean simply turning around, I mean stopping in an instant, then in the same instant speeding up to how fast I was going. I tried it 5 or 6 times, but it really was quite difficult. Maybe what I was trying to do was just nonsense, I don't know, but I never got it to work.

In another dream, I had an exam but couldn't remember what time the exam started. I went to the library to use a computer to find out what time the exam was, and, interestingly, the library was inside my old house. The, however, did not phase me, and I did not become lucid. I entered the front door, and the inside in no way resembled my old house. I climbed up a flight of some very steep stairs into a coffee shop that sold various candies and trinkets along with coffee. I wasn't in the mood for anything so I just made my way to the back of the store where the door leading to the library was. One of the employees said, "Excuse me, sir," and pointed to the sign next to the door before I could leave. Apparently, it cost $3 to go into the library, $1 to look around the store, and $1 to use the exit to leave the store. Damn, these guys get you no matter what! I was, of course, thouroghly disgusted that I had to pay $3 to use the library. I really needed to however, so I fished the money out of my wallet, threw it on the floor in front of the clerk, and gave him a piece of my mind in the form of insults and profanities as I turned and walked away into the library. I fucking could not believe I had to pay for simply WALKING INTO the library. Anyway, once I was inside, I found that all the computers were mysteriously missing. This made sense to me for some reason, as I rationalized that it was the end of exam season, so they had to put away all the computers while the kids were on break or else they might be stolen. I went outside, got into my car, and drove to another library. I remember going into the library parking lot I made an extreme left and went up this ramp to a parking area, I had already been there previously in the dream (there's a bunch of stuff I just left out/forgot). I saw an open parking space and headed straight for it. I remember being so proud of my parking job, it was just so perfectly inside the lines, equidistant on each side from all of them. I saw a car that was actually only half a car, as the parking space it was in was bisected by the fence surrounding the parking lot, but for some reason I took this as normal and did not realize it was a dream. I looked at my watched and saw it was 6:23 (it was in the A.M. at the beginning of the dream) and realized I probably have already missed my exam, then I woke up (left out/forgot a lot of stuff in this one).

Actually, I didn't wake up, it was an FA, but I didn't realize it. My two friends John and Nigel walked into my room, and I told them to go away because I was still tired and sleeping. They said they would go home, but I told them to stay becuase I would only be sleeping for about 15 more minutes. They went into the next room and got onto the computer. I got up and leaned awkwardly, at an impossible angle, off of my bed and around the door to see what they were doing on the computer. Nigel had opened up Diablo II. I settled back down in my bed and woke up for real.

      1/3/06 (just remembered this one)

Just watched Advent Children again, so I guess it was on my mind, because I found myself face to face with Sephiroth. God DAMN that guy is scary as shit. Ohhhh it was so cool to see him in "person"...never had a Final Fantasy dream I could remember before. Anyway, apparently, this was before Sephiroth went insane, because we were working on the same team ( I was Cloud, obviously). But, I looked like the Cloud from Advent Children and had the Advent Children sword...but hey, whatever, it was a dream. Well, we set off down this hallway, me trailing Sephiroth, and even though I knew he was on my team I was still scared shitless of the way he moved...he just looked so freakin powerful, with his long grey hair and badass sword. He would walk quietly forward, the dart instantaneously out of view and then back in view, yet 20 or so feet away from where he started. The movement was so powerful and startling that I dreaded the time when he would turn on me. But we reached the bottom of the complex we were in, and had to decide how to attack the monster in the basement area. There were two parts to the monster, the "spinners" (I think) and the real body...we decided that I would attack the spinners and Sephiroth would go for the bodies. Too bad I woke up just then.

Went into a WILD. It was short, and I'd rather not say what I did.

1/5/06 I'll start titling my dreams. Vex Kitten does that and it looks cool and makes it easier to read.

      1. Fireball-throwing Ogres

I was in a troupe of maybe 40 or 50 other people, all about my age, accompanied by about 2-3 older people. We were students in training at a secret military ops school, and the elders were supervising one of our training missions. I was about second or third from the front, and we were walking in a loose single file fashion through a broad hallway in a north direction. There was a small, outhouse-shaped hut attatched the wall just in front of some stairs leading up and to the left. I opened the door to the hut and the hut magically vanished, but there was a picture frame on the wall with some kind of icon in the middle of a whitish-beigeish canvas. It might have been the outline of a chocobo, I'm not sure. Whatever it was, it was definitely a power-up that would be useful in the mission ahead of us. Unfortunately, as I took it down and tucked it under my arm, one of my fellow trainees informed me that it cost something like $120 (can't remember the exact number). That seemed like quite a lot, and he told me that he could get those same kind of power-ups for me (maybe from ebay?), maybe a bit smaller size, for something like $40. So we as a group decided to hold off on taking the power-up for now, and rounded the corner to go up the stairs.
That staircase was uneventful, as we reached a small landing and took another left turn to go up another staircase. At the top of this staircase (we're now facing south) was a landing big enough for most of us to fit, and it was outside the building, so we were standing in the fresh air. There was another covered wooded staircase just in front of us, but it was covered with some kind of metal (the stairs were wood, I think). The whole scene was very reminiscent of the slum district of Athkatla in Baldur's Gate II. Also, we saw and heard our challenge: Two huge ogre-cyclops things were rampaging around throwing this green exploding shit everywhere (kinda like the fuel rod cannon in Halo & Halo 2). They were both loosely armored, with metal plates strapped here and there, but the smaller (relatively) one was more heavily armored, as he had a helmit on. They were both extremely pig, wrinkly, and ugly, and patches of black hair that stuck out everywhere. Everyone seemed very afraid, and no one knew what to do next. I can't remember if the instructors said anything, but for some reason, even though I didn't really know what to do, I felt like I had been here before and fought these guys, and they really weren't that bad, so I wasn't scared at all. In fact, I took the lead of the group and pressed on (we were, after all, being graded, so I might as well do my best) up the stairs. The group tentatively followed me as I made my way up the covered stair and set foot onto the wide open platform above.
Big mistake. I saw one of the things charging at me, and immedietely decided I had taken the wrong course of action. It was time to get the FUCK out of there. Rearing around, I literally flew down the two flights of stairs, right over the heads of everyone else, as they turned around, screaming, to run as well. As I took off, a terrible roar erupted from the space just behind me, and I saw a flash of red light and felt a searing heat pressing against my back, chasing me all the way down the two flights of stairs. I never looked back, but I feared the worst. While turning and flying at super speed, I recognized my best friend's face, second in line, twisted with fear and horror. There was no time; the fireball was behind me.
I continued my flight all the way through the long hallway and down another set of stairs and into a large area that was clearly a sparring room for small armies of maybe 40-50 people. I ducked behind a wall and watched as my commrades came running into the room, plus more people came out of various hallways and doors. The two terrible beasts followed down the stairs , hurling fireballs indiscriminantly and kicking here and there, screeching and shrieking all the while. It was a terrible sight, but somehow I knew it was just a simulation and everyone that was hurt was going to be ok, and that's why the instructors weren't intervening. Then I realized we were still being graded, so I must try and survive as long as possible, because somehow I knew that if I let the beasts have their fun, I might be able to slip away and return to their lair and complete the task. So me and about 5 or 6 others hid, and watched as the smaller one with the helmit picked someone up and crushed him and threw him aside. This doesn't seem very courageous, but we didn't have any weapons, and I'm pretty sure it was a test of self-preservation, survival, and wits. Anyway, this is a pretty anti-climactic ending, but the mosters got bored and left, then some stupid crap happened, I'm bored of writing this dream, then it ended.

      2. New Year's Party

I was pregaming at some house, apparently mine, and there were 3 girls there I don't know, but I guess they lived there, too. They asked me what I was doing for New Year's, and I told them I didn't know, and they said they were just going to stay home. I finished my drink and went to put on some blue, long-sleeve under armor because it was pretty cold outside, then I went outside and next door into the garage where my friends were. We were drinking and smoking and having a good time, then we were about to leave and my dad showed up.

      3. The Orcish Dragon Handlers

This dream was a LOT cooler than I'm going to be able to do justice because I don't remember it clearly, and a lot of it would just be so hard to write down. The jist: Me and my friend were playing the board game slash video game slash real life, and I say "slash" here because it kinda shifted between all three and was all three at once. Yeah, doesn't make sense, I know, whatever. Anyway, there were like 4-5 different races, and we each controlled one, but he was beating the hell out of me so I gave up and gave him the rest of my guys. I came back in about 15 minutes and he was attacking everyone with these Orcish Dragon Handler guys that were, obviously, orcs that flew around on dragons, whipping dudes with huge whips. He was actually not doing as well as he had hoped, because he lost about 5 or six of them unexpectedly (their attack power was enormous). At this point the dream was basically a turn-based strategy game. This sweet heavily armored huge...thing, I can't remember what it was, but it resembles a whale or a rhinocerous or something big and badass...well, whatever it was it was playing for one of the computer players, and picked up a HUGE boulder and flung it at one of my friends guy's and bashed him right on the head and killed him, which sucked because that unit produced the orc units. sorry, getting tired of writing clearly.

      4. Naughtyness

WILD. I fell on the floor of my room, and remembered how badly my last few WILDs have gone, so I concentrated on my hands for a bit to gain stability and control. Everything came clear into focus and my room looked just as it does in real life. I made it turn day outside (saw the sun rising high into the sky), so I had OK control, too. Walked out of my room and into the bathroom, where a pretty girl was about to take a shower. Started to, well, you know, then woke up.

BAH ryan NO MORE SEX IN LDS FOR YOU. They only make you wake up. Do something else for a change and maybe they will last longer.

      1. The Harmony of All Things

I was in some room playing with a cat. I was stroking it and kissing it and scratching it and admiring its beautiful yellowish-orangish-reddish hair. I did this for quite a while, and it started to seem as if i understood the cat perfectly, like I knew what it was thinking, what it wanted, what it liked, etc. The bond between us was growing and growing, and, I must say, I don't know if I've ever felt anything quite like it. Me and this cat, it felt like we were connected, not as just two different beings, but as one. It was a wonderful feeling, stroking that cat and it purring and rubbing its paws on me. Then I realized we were in my room on my bed, and this guy, who loosely resembled Ghandi, starting crying out about how everything is one and how I had figured it out. He turned to go out of the room, yelling to everyone what had happened, and I panicked. Yeah, I felt like that just then, but what if I didn't in a few minutes? It felt like a hard thing to keep up forever, and I was happy that I felt like that for at least a little while, but it seemed impossible to feel like that all the time. I didn't have time to worry further because the dream ended.

      2. Fugitive

I start remembering this dream half-way through. Apparently, though, I had gone missing to avoid capture by people I didn't like. I was walking to school (for some reason it was my high-school), and there were lots of people walking to school all around me. It struck me as odd that I wasn't trying to hide, and I suddenly became very conscious of the fact that I didn't know who was looking for me, and I was very vulnerable. Luckily, one of my friends who was driving by slowed down and told me that I had to get in the car because they were looking for me right now. I was skeptical, but I got in the car anyway. It was a strange looking bright greeen car with yellow flames on the side, and it took me what felt like 5 minutes of struggling to fit into the drivers seat of the car because it was such a weird shape. Great, I thought, no one is going to notice THIS car driving around. We took off down the street and took a left, heading for the main street. I noticed two cops driving a good distance behind us, so I got scared and look a right onto the main street. The cops sped up and cut me off, asking me to pull over. I didn't see any point in running, I might as well get out and see what they wanted. If they wanted to take me in, I was just going to have to dispose of them. I got out and asked why the pulled me over. One of the cops laughed and replied, "Well, isn't it obvious? You've been driving for a whole three miles without anyone following you! We thought it was kinda suspicious, but there's nothing wrong, you're free to go." Go figure. I realized we were in a library, not on the street anymore. Must have been the library on the main street by our house. My friend that was with me morphed into another friend. I think we were turning in a book review, but I had only used Spark Notes to read the book. Then someone said we had to take a test on the book also! This freaked me out, because even though my review was OK, I didn't really know anything about the book. My nerves eased when someone else said that the test wasn't for another two weeks. Me and my friend wanted to leave the library, but they wouldn't let us. My friend got in a screaming match with someone who worked there over a bad grade he got that he deserved better on.

      3. Football Game

I was walking through a tunnel to go to a game of some sort. At the end of the tunnel, Jessica Simpson was standing in some slutty red outfit, talking to some guy. I thought to myself, "Just play it cool, Ryan, she'll be all over you if you walk by and ignore her." I did just that, looked back after I had passed, and she hadn't even looked up. She looked a lot uglier after that. Anyway, I went to try and find my seats on the huge wooden bleachers, but it was hard because I couldn't find any of my friends. The space for sitting was enormous, and thought there were a lot of people there, there was a lot of empty space around. I sat down next to two poeople whom I recognized, but I got a call from someone named Lindsay. This was weird, because the only Lindsay I know was from high school and I hadn't talked to her in about three years. I answered and asked where she was, but for some reason I couldn't hear anyone on the other end of the line. The two people I was sitting with got up to get better seats, and I followed them over to the end of the bleachers next to a big stone wall. For some reason, even though there were no people for twenty feet all around, they sat down right next to this black guy in a huge coat and bearskin eskimo hat who was eating nachos, clearly leavig no room for me to sit down next them. I tried to sit down in between the guy and them, but the fit was so tight I just got up and, being bored and curious, I looked over the stone wall. Wayyyyy down below, maybe 100-200 feet, was a football game being played in a concrete parking lot. The strange thing was, this was the game everyone in the bleacher was there to see. I pointed this out to everyone, but they just looked the other way and commented on how good a game it was. Somehow, I remember I had been down on the concrete parking lot before, but there was no football being played on it when I was there. Instead - get ready for this - there was a platoon of synchronized-dancing tanks. Yup. That's exactly what it sounds like, too. Like, what the hell? How did I not realize this was a dream? Anyway, the dream shifted a bit, and the football game turned into a SportsCenter program, and they kept on saying the name of some kid I went to school with long ago, and they kept calling him THE so-and-so.

      4. Japanese Fiend-Midget

WILD. Went though unusually long vibrations because I almost lost control and got too excited that I was in the vibrations stage and therefore about to enter an LD. Managed to save it, got up and immediately began examining my hands and various objects, increasing the lucidity of the dream. I managed to gain pretty crisp imagery, it looked like real life. However, before I was done, this old midget japanese woman walked into my room and jumped on my bed. Now, this worried me, because lately when I WILD, it only lasts a few seconds because of something relating to the room next to my room. I wanted to get away, my plan before even going to bed the night before was to fly out the window of my room. But this woman, with her wrinkly skin and creepy smile, clearly wanted me to stay. First, she tried to talk to me, but I told her I had to go. Then, she tried to have sex with me, but I'm done having sex in LDs so that didn't work either, then, she grabbed on to me and started chanting something really weird, and I calmly told her that this was my dream and I was going to do what I wanted. She tightened her grip, but I tried to smash her face in with my bare hands. As I did this, her face melted away and changed into some grotesque moster face with only eyeballs, blackness, and stranged, pipe-like colored lines as the distunguishable charactersitics. I realized she was just trying to scare me into waking up, and I told her it wasn't going to work and I was going to do what I want. She began thrusting her spiny figers into my eyeballs and face and nose, and as I was struggling with her, I woke up. Curse that woman. Curse her to hell. I woke up cursing her in my bed. Next LD, I'm not running. I'm marching straight into that room and dealing with whatever the fuck is in there. I will try to use peaceful methods at first, but if that does not succeed, I will destroy the entire house with a maelstrom of fire and explosion, if that's what it takes pacify the demons at work. I will call forth torment from the sky and scorch the wood of this prison with the lighting of a thousand storms. If it be good that lives there, it best show itself before it's too late. If it be evil, beware. Ad infinitum, maelstrom; ad infinitum, lightning. Mark my words, I will not fail.

      5. X-Com meets Final Fantasy

This dream really should have been a lot cooler, but for some reason I still don't have good control in LDs. I don't feel like writing the whole thing down, so here's a short synopsis:

I was the commander of X-Com forces (namely, Nick Jones) (X-Com is video game where you fight aliens). The aliens had finished building one of their holy sites at the top of the north pole, so we were going to invade the complex and try to capture one of their commanders. The head of ops took me aside before the mission and told me not to be too reckless or I might find myself relieved of duty, as I had a tendency to go off on my own and try to play the hero instead of effectively commanding my troops. We arrived at the complex, which was really just a mansion (it was also in a quite temperate suburban area, not north-pole likie), and we entered through the basement and zapped a few aliens. We found the commander, but had forgotton to bring stun bombs, so we just kicked on the head to knock it out so we could caputure it. I realized the aliens were bringing reinforcements, and some dogs burst through the door followed by aliends that resmebled agents from the matrix. one of them shot me in the chest and face, and I slid down the wall and slumped into quite a dramatic death position. But then I realized that it didn't hurt. "No," I announced, just like Neo in the Matrix. "This is just like the matrix." At that point, I realized I was dreaming, so I got up and took off out the window, flying around the mansion. I flew up to the top, but for some reason had to pull myself using physical strength onto the top of the roof. Man, that was realistic, it felt like I really was hoisting myself up on the roof! Anyway, I felt bad for my friends below who were trapped by the aliens, so I decided to conjure Ichigo's sword from Bleach and chop them up. But my control sucks for some reason!! I couldn't get the sword to look right, and even when I got it close I couldn't swing it right. It was so shitty. Then I tried to get cloud's buster sword from FFVII, but I couldn't even do that! I put my hands behind my head like 7-8 times and tried to pull it out from behind, but by the 8th time it was so pathetic that all I whipped out was a huge piece of dental floss. It was really, really, pathetic and saddening. I was almost on the verge of crying, when I tried to summon Cloud to fix everything. I saw him appear floating, a mini-sized cloud, a bit away from me, and I got excited and woke up.

      1. Suspicious Deoderant

I was in my friends room, and for some reason I grabbed his deoderant and started putting it on under my arms. Gee, I wonder what my subconscious was trying to tell me? Anyway, I was afraid that my friend would see me using his deoderant and think I was really weird (he was sitting at his comuter a couple feet away), so I quickly put the cap back on. You know that really satisfying sliding feeling when you place the top back on a stick of deoderant? Well, it was just so satisfying that I decided to keep on pushing to keep the feeling going, and, to my suprise, the cap kept on sliding and sliding, never actually sliding into place. I realized I must have been dreaming at this point, and my friend disappeared from the room. I don't remember well what happened next, but I remember something about blackness and swirling skeleton heads, and it was hard to keep control in the face of these disruptive elements, so I woke up.

      1. Another WILD Gone Bad

Actually, I was already dreaming, but I was in my bed at night so I decided to WILD in the dream. I know it was a dream because I went to scratch my personal area, and...uh, there were women's parts there instead of men's parts. This, however, did not phase me, as I didn't realize it was a dream at the time, and I proceeded to WILD, successfully, of course. But after I opened my eyes I encountered the familiar troubles of late: A foreboding feeling came at me from beyond the closed door of my room. Everything was black, I could barely see, had little control, and scary figures came at me from the other room. I basically gave up on trying to control it and just waited to wake up, which happened in a few seconds.

      2. Old Friends Re-unite

I'm not sure what made me realize I was dreaming, but I found myself outside on some paved road in a suburban area, knowing I was dreaming. The first thing that came to mind to do was summon all the Final Fantasy VII characters! Man, that was fun. After some effort, I managed to get all of them to come. Some stepped out from behind walls and some appeared when I turned around. It was a struggle with each one, as I would summon them they would appear but they wouldn't look like they were supposed to, so I would have to shape them on the go. This was difficult, as I was watching and looking at them as the changes took place, but it was fun because I was verbally commanding what they look like ("No, that's wrong, Tifa is prettier, thats it, yeah, and has longer hair, OH! and bigger boobs&#33. I remember that when Yuffie showed up, she was the last one to come and I was so happy that I gave her a big kiss! I turned to Cid, patted him on the back, and gave him the thumbs-up. He said something hardass, because he's Cid, and I was so happy standing there with all of them that I lost control woke up.

      1. Conquered Fears

FINALLY conquered whatever it was that was coming from that room next to mine and had a successful (relatively) WILD. Luckily, when I WILD'd, it was already light out, so I didn't have the fear that comes from the darkness to contest with. I woke up and looked around my room, trying to stabilize by looking at my hands before whatever it was that I knew was going to appear came through the door next to me. I was prepared for something this time, though. As expected, a weird cat-like thing came through the door and headed straight foor me. It was about 5 times as large as a normal cat, so I guess it was about the size of a small mountain lion or something, and it had greyish-black fur and strange green eyes. Its fur was very ragged and it moved very stiffly, and its face was all contorted into a silent hiss or scream. As it neared me, I grabbed it by the throat and kept on telling it to go away. I wasn't panicked, but I was definitely being forceful, as I didn't want yet another WILD ruined by shit that came from that damn room. The cat disappeared or something, because I soon lost interest in it because I knew I had won. I still had to get out of my room, though, and I sure as hell didn't want to have to go through the room next to my room for fear of the battle not being completely over. At first I tried to phase through the window, but the window disappeared and all that was left was a solid white wall. Well, whatever, I thought, I'll just phase through the wall. However, I was having a hard time doing this; I just didn't know how to go about walking or phasing through a wall. As a last ditch effort, I simply smashed my hand into the wall and pryed the wall back, much like you might do with a crowbar to open a stubborn metal door. I repeated this about 3-4 times, and voila! a window to the outside was pouring sweet, sweet light into my cell of a room. I was finally free! I looked out into the courtyard below, and saw a strange sight. There was a huge field flanked by tall, school-like buildings (the house I was in was one of them), but, where grass should have been, there was only dirt. It was very nice, fresh dirt, though, the kind you might find on a well-kept baseball diamond. The color of the dirt was very vivd - the reddish-orange field shone brightly in the afternoon sun. There were 5-6 people kicking a soccer ball around, juggling, and stretching and warming up. I squeezed through the small hole in the wall and took off flying, twisting this way and that, aiming to land just next to a couple guys who were doing warm-up stretches. I was so excited to see what soccer would be like in an LD! Unfortunately, after I landed, everything went hazy and I woke up.

      2. Details

I was in the midst of a rather long and involved dream, a sort of half-nightmare slash mystery. It was very entertaining and scary, but I forget most of the details now, and those that I do remember I don't really want to take the time to write down. Needless to say, I was walking through a dead apple-orchard type place, with dead trees on all sides, trying to figure out how I was going to get away from this place with my life. There was an ominous house at one end of the orchard, compelte with creepy noises and 3-4 stories of haunted fun, eyeing me from behind its veil of fear. I knew going in there was the absolute last thing I wanted to do, so I turned around and made my way slowly towards the smaller shack that stood at the opposing end of the orchard. This place was no more inviting. The windows were all broken in, shattered glass laying in piles here and there, tattered cutains whipping in the eerily non-existant wind. There something horrible about both of these places, and I definitely did not want to find out what it was. At this point, seeing no other options left, my fight or flight response kicked in and I took off running at top speed. Unfortunately, the orchard had confused my senses so much that I ended up running straight for the huge house that I wanted so desperately to avoid. I tried to change direction, but it was too late; I was running so fast that my legs lifted off the ground, and my momentum was carrying me on a direct collision course with the back of this haunted house. But wait! I knew this feeling! It was the feeling of flying through the air in Jet Moto! I could change the position of my body to whatever I wanted, but the momentum was carrying me forward, just like in the video game (if you've ever played it, which is doubtful, then you'll know what I mean). I angled myself towards the ground, and just before I smashed into the house, I grabbed the grass and pulled, directing all of my momentum away from the house in a deft left-turn-grapple manuever. Hahaha, I was free of the mance! I found myself in the middle of a suburban street, and, for whatever reason, I realized I was dreaming. I was so amazed by the fact that I was dreaming that I just sat down and looked at my hands for a little bit, admiring how life-like they were. Nothing seemed to be wrong with them; they were in perfect proportion, had the correct color and even had all the lines they were supposed to (at least as far as I could tell). I walked a little bit, towards the sidewalk, and looked down. To my amazement, the detail on the ground was incredible! I could see lines and cracks in the pavement and sidewalk, little clumps of dirt here and there, a few small rocks, and a ladybug! I picked up the ladybug and examined it, marvelling at the power of the mind, then everything went hazy and I woke up.

Wow, haven't posted here for quite a while. With the new semester starting I guess I got out of the weak routine I was in. Just haven't written anything down.

      1/28

      1. Flying!

The first thing I remember about this dream is bein in the middle of the ocean somewhere, everything was sunny and bright. I was chatting with some DC as we floated along, I'm not sure what it was, but I think it was big and blue and had some tentacles (maybe). I looked over and I saw a grey stingray thing with tentacle like stuff comming down off its chin was floating in the water a little bit away from me. It started rising up out of the water, and I swear, Will Ferrell comes charging out of nowhere and leaps onto the thing, wrapping his arms around it as it was rising up. I somehow knew that the stingray was about to jet the hell out of there, so I pounced on it, too, and Will fell off. Immediately, I was launched with incredible force up and across the ocean. It was such an amazing feeling. If you have ever been on those coasters, such as Top Thrill Dragster, that launch you from 0-120 in 2 seconds, then it was that feeling, but x100.

I flew so far that I went from the tropical sunny waters I was in all the way to the north-pole like waters, where everything was icy cold. Everything turned dark and blue, and everything looked so quietly epic and majestic, it was so breathtaking as I hurtled my way through the air. I was getting tired of flying, so I reached out and grabbed this thing (no idea what it was), and it tore but was successful in slowing down my speed. I plunged diagonally into the icy blue water of depth immeasurable and found that I could breath even when underwater, and didn't feel cold even though I knew it was freezing. This is when I became lucid. I had so much fun flying through the air like that that I wanted to do it again, so I zoomed up, breaching the surface and "launching" myself with the force of my will.

Apparently, there is a wall at the edge of the world, like in the Truman Show, because I was headed straight for it. I didn't try to avoid it, in fact, I steered myself on a direct collision course with it, because I wanted to try to bust through it. This was to no avail, however, as I simply collided and came to a stop. The wall was very cavernous, and made of blueish ice, so that I could walk around on the ledge I was on (it wasn't a sheer face). I looked down into the deep, navy blue water, and realized I was very, very high up. There was a HUGE raised rock-ice structure ahead of me, rising up thousands of feet with a sheer face on all sides, the flattening out at the top.

I stood at the edge of the platform I was on, took a look down, and jumped off, cliff-diving style, into the blue abyss. This was such a great feeling, like the one you get when you JUST go over a huge hill on a roller coaster, it started out in slow motion, but I was free falling towards the water before I knew it. At the last second, I pulled up, racing back up the edge of the structure that was in front of me. I cleared the wall and tumbled to the ground, rolling to a stop. I don't know if I've ever felt pain in a dream, but this might have been the closest thing to it: I felt myself rolling, and I knew that it SHOULD hurt, but it just didn't, it just felt like some weird pressure all over my body (I was going REALLY fast). It was so much fun I decided to do it again, so I flew back over the place I jumped off of before.

This time, I stopped to marvel at the fact that I was dreaming...I really was dreaming! I looked at my hands, and the cavern around me, and was filled with a wonderfully satisfying feeling of completeness. I was dreaming! I could do anything! My body was in my bed at home, and yet, here I was, experiencing these sensations! I just couldn't get over it. While I pondered these thoughts, I noticed the ocean did not look so far away anymore, and the water looked suspiciously like carpeting. I wasn't done with my flying around the quiet blue wonderland just yet, though, so I decided to jump off anyway.

Thump. I hit the floor below me as soon as I jumped off. Damn, I was in a house, I guess supposedly mine. Well, there was no one around, so I decided I wanted a bunch of people to show up! A bunch of my friends came through the doorway, and I said hi to a bunch of them, and before long it was a first-rate party. I noticed one of the girls was "supposed" to be one of my ex-girlfriends...only she looked nothing her! I walked over and told her, "You're supposed to be "Sarah?" (name changed) Haha, don't make me laugh, Sarah had a wider chin. And you have short hair! She had waist length hair! If you're going to be my ex, you have to actually look like her and act like her." The girl didn't know what to say, but could obviously not object. So she left and was going to come back, but more realistic this time. I thought it would be funny if I summoned all my exs and see what would happen, so I tried to summon my last girlfriend by saying "'Stacy's' (name change) going to come to the party next." However, a girl walking by told me that she "would never come." Good point, she probably wouldn't. But the girl that said that was cute, so I picked her up and kissed her, and she giggled.

I followed her friend downstairs, carrying her and making out with her the whole time (she was giggling the time too), and at some point a sucker appeared in my mouth as we were making out. It was cherry flavored, and it was goddamn delicious. When we got to the bottom of the second flight of stairs, she asked me where I got the sucker, and I told her I didn't know, but she could have it. At this point, I think I lost lucidity for whatever reason, because I decided to go back upstairs (and foregore more time with this cute girl? DEF not lucid.) OH! I remember, at the bottom of the stairs were some of my friends, and they were doing something really sketchy and it felt like it was illegal. Still think I lost lucidity, though.

At this point, I was feeling high. I don't know why, because I didn't smoke anything, but I definitely felt high as shit. And I was getting paranoid, because these two black guys kept on walking by me and eyeing me, and they were always carrying chairs. Green patio chairs. Always bad news. Plus, they were always on the phone, keeping their voices down so I couldn't hear. One had beige overalls and a navy blue shirt on, and both had grey hats and toothpicks in their mouths. For some reason, I thought they were undercover cops that were going to bust me for smoking. I wanted to get back up as fast as possible. When I got back up, I think I was in the audience of a basketball game. I got a text message from my mom, which freaked me out, because I didn't want to talk to her high. She wanted to know the score of the Ohio State game. I walked over to where my two "supervisors" (don't ask, I don't know) were talking and asked them if they needed anything, and one wanted to know the score of the Michigan State game. Then I woke up.

      2. Fulham Soccer Tryout

I WISH I was lucid for this. Alas, I was not. I got to play with the Fulham soccer team, they were giving me a private tryout. Didn't see Brian McBride, but ah well. I was playing pretty pathetic though, and I couldn't do anything about it, and I was getting really frustrated. You know in dreams when can't move right, or it feels like you're in slow motion? Yeah, that was it, I would wind up to take a shot as hard as I could, and I would hit this wimpy rolling shit that the goalie easily stopped. I was like WTF? I am better than this. I can at least kick the ball hard. Why can't I kick it right? Well, hopefully from now on this will be a dreamsign. The dream shifted somewhat, and there were a million kids all around and only one ball. I took the ball and was showing off juggling and doing a bunch of cool tricks. I caught the ball with my stomach (I guess between my stomach and my thighs) and did a front flip, landing on my butt while still keeping the ball there and not letting it touch the ground. From there, I juggled it on the ground and then got up, everyone was "oooh"ing and "ahhh"ing.

It shifted again, and I was playing in a game, for some reason there was a really old dude playing forward for the other team. Like, really old, 80ish. But he moved fine, so whatever. I made a sweet one touch pass, but I still couldn't move right. Then I realized I was playing in pants, and that's why my movement was hindered. Didn't know what to do about it though, then I woke up. Oh, one of my exs was in the stands watching.

      3. 6th Sense II

So, in this dream, I WAS the little kid from the 6th Sense (looked like him and everything). It was basically in the form of a trailer (for 6th Sense II) and I think it was mostly 3rd person view. It started off with a story about these three freshman girls in highschool who would go over to the house of this senior girl and be taken advantage of, like touching and making out, by the senior and her 2 girl friends. One of the younger girls was narrating while there were clips depicting what she said: "We didn't mind it, we liked the attention because the boys didn't give us any, and it was just like they were boys, anyway. Then one day..." cut to a scene where the three other girls have three dildos. Then the younger girls were DEF taken advantage of (the clips didn't show this), and I guess somehow they died, because now they were haunting the boy from 6th Sense. Then the boy started narrating, "I THOUGHT that I could use my powers to help the dead get to rest, but it turns out they keep on wanting more..." Then there was creepy music and a bunch of really freaky images around him as he walked through a hallway and up a creepy staircase. At the top of the staircase everything got to be too much, it changed to first person mode, and I was assaulted with horrific images until I started screaming and woke myself up.

1/29 Don't remember these very well.

      1. Deoderant

I was putting on some Right Guard gel deoderant. I put a LOT on, you could see the gel shining everywhere. One of my roomates was walking around outside the bathroom.

      2. Football Game

I was the coach of a football team, and we were playing in a big game. Our uniforms were whitish-silver with blue numbers, but I forget the other team's colors. Our star player was #15, and he played running back on offence but also something on defense. The game wasn't going very well, and the other team was shutting down #15 (I think he was supposed to be like the best player in the league), and he got a personal foul for a late hit. I was getting worried because he had a reputation as a great guy, but this was showing he couldn't really handle losing. A few playes later, after he tackled a player, thinking the refs weren't watching, he heeled him in the knee. The ref seemed to NOT be watching, as he did not throw a flag right away, so I immediately subsituted him out and went to talk to him. But, the ref was walking over as well, and threw his flag when he got close enough. At this point, our entire second line was in for some reason, and the game kept on going without that ref. I was worried that #15 would be thrown out of the game for getting two personal fouls (not true in real life), but was relieved when the ref said it was just unsportsmanlike conduct (in real life, still a personal foul). The ref was sympathetic, because he liked #15, and told me I should put him in the with the second team, only with a different number, to confuse the other team. So he put on #4 (a mesh jersey, blue with yellow numbers, I guess that's what the second team wore). I looked out on the field, and saw it continue to be bad, one of our guys dropped a pass. For some reason, no one on our team had jerseys or helmits on, they were dressed for school. There was a fumble, and I thought our luck was turning around, but instead of picking it up, our team (including people from my high school) just kicked it and kicked it and tried to score a goal like in soccer. It was pathetic.

      1. Most Boring Dream Ever.

I was taking my clothes out of the dryer. However, some of the items were still a bit wet, so I had to leave them in and turn the dryer on again.

      Whoopee.

      Haha.
I hate having boring dreams as well. It seems like a waste of sleep.
Can't even get away from doing the laundry in your dreams.

No problem at all, I'd be glad to see if I could help. I have a LOAD of stuff I have to do for school in the next day or two, but I'll send you a PM pretty soon. Thanks for the compliment on my WILDs.

I know, like, what the hell? Doing laundry? I try so hard not to do it in real life, and then there it is, haunting me in my sleep. And I thought I had an active imagination...

      1. Vengence

I was in a frat house where some of my friends live. B pushed A's new flat screen TV out the window and it smashed on the ground. B thought it was hilarious. Obviously, A did not share his sentiment. He went to B's room and threw his table out of the window, where it smashed to pieces on the ground. B was extremely furious, he was pacing around in his room, punching walls and cursing. That's all I remember of this one.

      2. Corrupt Police

I'm in a house with B again. This time, however, I get the feeling it is my house, and I see my parents were sitting on stools at a counter about 5-10 feet away from us. There was a Nalgene bottle on the table in front of us, I think it was blue, and it was filled with some pretty low-quality wine. Okay, REALLY low quality wine. Anyway, B and I were sharing the wine, pouring it into our own plastic cups. There was only a little bit of the wine left, so I poured it equally into our two cups and we had a race to chug the rest. I won by a little bit. There were about 5-6 of us in the room, all watching TV and hanging out, drinking. It was pretty chill. Suddenly, however, we see a flashlight being held up against the blinds covering the door, and see the outline of a police officer trying to look in. I might have seen his face, I'm not sure. Everyone threw down their cups and scattered, locking windows, closing blinds, and hiding themselves as well as possible. At this point, the house pretty much resembles my Aunt's house, so I run around to the other side of the house and bolt up the stairs. I hide myself pretty well behind this couch thing and the railing looking down to the first floor, and I think I'm in the clear because the door is locked, and the police officer can't just come in, anyway, unless someone lets him in. I get a little too comfortable with the situation, and shift in my position a bit, making some noise and dropping a bit of debris downstairs. Of course, the police officer is now in the house and notices the debris falling. Oh shit, I think, I HAVE to get away from here or else I'm screwed. The police officer starts walking up the stairs, coming right towards me, but bends to pick up the debris and examine it. He is like 5 feet away from me. I stealthily and completely silently (would never have flown in real life) make it by him while he's occupied and to another flight of stairs going up, which I manage to climb without making a sound. Fade out.

      1. Missing Cat

K and I were outside the front of some big house, trying to get in. It was nightime, but the roads were pretty well lit with streetlights. There were no lights on in the house we were trying to get into, however, and it looked like no one was home. On the other side of the street, the ground dipped sharply down, stair-stepping down rows of wooden bleachers and ending about 15-20 rows down. These bleachers streteched along the roadside, amphitheater style, as far as I could see. After the bleachers was a concrete area that served as a terrace for a hugely long yet only 3-4 story high building with white columns. Pretty cool, structurally. I saw two girls that seemed to be looking for something in the terraced area. They were calling out and looking here and there. I realized they were looking for a cat.

Just then, a white and silver cat ran by, across the street, and down the bleachers, and I yelled to the girls that a cat was there and pointed it out, but then I realized it was just my cat. False alarm. K was still looking for a way to get into the house, but I was more interested in helping these girls (girls and cats...two of the most irresistable if not immensely frustrating things ever. I guess it's just part of their charm). Anyway, I saw a cute little black thing poke its head out from under the last row of the bleachers, and yelled to the girls. One of them dashed over at an incredible speed and picked up the kitty. The two of them walked away, and as they walked off they went under a light...these girls were definitely very attractive. But not even so much as a word of thanks. Screw them. Fade to black.

      2. Let's Get Some Shoes.

I was at my house back home, and it was very early, probably about 4 am. Our family was preparing to go somewhere, perhaps on a trip, I can't quite recall. But there had to some reason I was up so early and we were all getting ready. I think the trip involved a car dealership...or a rental car...oh, who the hell cares, it doesn't matter. Anyway, I started off on the couce downstairs, and, even though it was before dawn, it was light out. That doesn't make anysense, but it did then. I headed up to my room (I guess I slept on the couch?) and closed the door.

I forget a lot of details of this dream, but I do know that there was a girl in my room and we talked for a while, laughing and joking and such. She looked like S but was "supposed" to be A, both from high school. On the floor in my room were several pairs of very nice shoes. One of them was a pair of Gucci loafers that I saw my other friend A wearing the other day, and the other two pairs I recognized as my econ professor's. One pair was green, I think the other was brown. Both VERY expensive. "Jackpot!" I thought. They left them here, or forgot them, or whatever, so they were mine now. It was getting close to the time where we hand to leave, and the girl I was talking to (we were lying on the floor of my room, wrapped up in a tangle of white comforter and pillows) told me she remembered now why she used to love me so much (the one she was "supposed" to be had a huge crush on me in HS). Fade to black.

      3. Monopoly Money

I was at some sort of massive sports facility from with my friend J from back home. I had soccer cleats and a soccer jersey on, and there were huge football players walking around everywhere, and some were making fun of me for playing soccer instead of football. We walked up a few flights of stairs, and when we got to the top, we were ready to take the field and start our training session. By this time, my friend J had changed into my other friend J, the one who plays golie. But, we realized that we had forgotten to bring any soccer balls to play with. We looked around, and I saw a soccer ball laying in the corner, but it looked pretty shitty, so when a little girl came up and asked if she could use it, I said sure. Then I saw an old friend from highschool who graduated a few years before me, but I knew him because we played on the same soccer team for a year in HS.

I said hi and chit-chatted for a little bit, and saw there were a bunch of older guys from the HS soccer team with him. They were going to play a pickup game, and invited us to play, but we declined because we had a set practice agenda we were going to follow. Before we took the field, however, I, for some reason, gave them a large amount of money, like $150-200. I don't know why, it might have been a bet, or for safe-keeping, or whatever. Whatever the reason, they took the money and put it in a Monopoly box. We magically had soccer balls now, so my friend and I took the field and I shot on him for a while. At first, my shots were really pathetic, like in previous soccer dreams, and I could barely put anyhting on the ball. After a while though, after getting very frustrated, I was concentrating better and managed to hit some good shots, but nothing like the force I feel in real life when I kick a ball. The goal seemed too big, as well, and my friend kept coming out unnecessarily far, so it was too easy to score on him. The field was an aritificial one, and it was in pretty bad condition, so if you kicked the ball along the ground, it would hit various inconsistencies in the field and be knocked off path.

I noticed the guys were done playing their pickup game, so I rushed over to get my money back before they left. One guy opened up the Monopoly box and handed me a large wad of bills, and I was initially satisfied, but then I looked closely at the money and realized there was only one real bill! The rest was just an assortment of Monopoly money. "Well, this sucks, did they steal it?" I thought. But when I confronted them about it, they seemed genuinely concerned, counted everything out, looked around, and tried to help me out. It turns out the real bill was a $100 bill, so at least I had that much, but the rest had disappeared. Then we stood around, talking and joking, making fun of one of the guys who had a mohawk. Fade to black.

      4. Be Afraid of Wayne Brady

So I had just seen the episode of "Dirt" where Wayne Brady's character threatens to cut a guy's dick off and helps bash some dude's knees in. This dream was so good, but I forget most of it because I didn't write anything down. The jist of it was me and my friend A were walking along an abandoned warehouse during the daytime, and we see Wayne Brady coming towards us in a limo. The same thing goes through both of our heads: HOLY SHIT WE'RE SCREWED. We look at each other and start sprinting through the warehouse, and at this point I become slightly lucid and realize I can run faster than him if I just will it. Wayne Brady appears at the other end of the warehouse, and I turn around and sprint off the other way, fearing for my life. Still lucid, but no control at all. I run outside, jumping over barriers and fences as the scene gradually phases into a grocery store and me jumping over displays and such. People all around going about their business, and a cop eyes me strangely. Fade to black.

Crazy night of sleep. Went to bed at 3, couldn't falls asleep until 4-5 because my mind was racing the whole time thinking about crazy shit (philosophical, sexual, and otherwise). Such a surreal night.

      1. Epic Dream

Sadly, I barely remember anything from this dream. But I do know that it was epic, the kind that you could write many, many stories out of. This is one of the reasons I'm trying to improve dream recall and lucidity, so I can take advantage of these dreams. All I remember, though, is the ending. There was this video-game screen, showing a sidescrolling platform jumped where I was a character like Sonic, and there were three parallel platforms I was jumping from (like in the old school NES game City Connection). I got the final boss battle, and it was Dr. Whateverhisname from the Sonic games, he was flying around and I had to jump on him to kill him. It was tricky because as soon as the battle started, the ground fell out from under me, so I kept on falling and dying and having to start over. I was running out of lives, but I finally managed to trap him in the corner and bounce off his face about 50 times rapid fire style, and he exploded. Sweet. Now I fell to the ground and let these conveyor things carry me twisting and turning to the left. My perspective "went into" the sidescrolling screen, and I was in the ceremony commemorating my lifetime acheivements, which I KNEW I had just done in the dream, like 50 years worth of battles and stories, but I couldn't quite remember any of them. Anyway, the credits rolled, and I melted away so that I was now with my friend watching the credits roll on TV in a house. The credits faded into "special features," which started playing automatically, but instead of playing on the TV screen they were playing in the room next to the room we were in in our house. Crazy shifting here. There was a guy holding something, and another guy with an axe, and it was supposed to show how the whole "food problem" started (I guess something that I took care of in the dream?) and on of the guys lifted his hand above a metal bowl (containing "food," I guess) and the other guy swung the axe and chopped off the guy's hand, which landed in the bowl. Fade to black.

      2. Stumble

WILD. I got up, was afraid of someone coming through my door and distracting me before I could stabilize the dream, so I got up and walked towards the door while looking at my hands and shouting things like "Increase lucidity!" But I didn't have enough stability to be moving around, so I stumbled backwards and fell down. Fade to black.

      3. Spring Palette

WILD. Woke up, but this time thought better of trying to rush around doing anything before I got control. Just sat up in bed and stared at my hands, focusing on making them as clear as possible. It worked very well; I gained a pretty good degree of control and my hands became very sharply defined. They were actually, forgive me if this term isn't befitting (hey, I'm the one that saw them&#33, quite beautiful. They were thinner than normal, and the fingers a bit longer perhaps, but the lines were brilliantly defined, and there seemed to be millions of them on each hand. Also, there was a subtle metallic blue color to them that teased in and out of purple, not ever settling on one distinct hue, but always making you look again. It's the color I would choose to be if one could choose to be a color. Anyway, I thought it was cool.

The door to my room opened and this really sketchy looking guy came in, and I was afraid at first because he looked dangerous (convict hair cut, 5 o'clock shadow, wirery frame, orange shirt), but he just handed me a sealed letter and left. At first I thought it was from someone in DV, but I looked again and the sender was "Unknown." I didn't have time to open it, because more people were marching up the stairs towards my room. I got up and went over to the door to see who all these people were. Another lady came in my room and started to leave after I didn't talk to her. I suddenly had the urge (of course) to hook up with a girl, so I told her to wait, and as I came closer she slowly turned around.

"Yes....?" she said, with her face still half turned away, one eye peering at me from behind an eerie mask of white skin.

"...Nothing," I said at last. Her eyes narrowed and I got the feeling her pasty white face wasn't what it seemd to be: There was something evil behind that disguise. "You can go." She turned and walked out. I sensed I had just averted disaster.

There were still more and more people parading up the stairs towards my room, but I shunned them aside as they walked up. What I really wanted now was an attractive girl. I tried to summon some girls I know, first J, then M, but both of them didn't even come close to looking like they do in real life so I jsut shunned them aside. I got the feeling it just wasn't my day for summoning people correctlly, and these two girls with black haze around their faces, dressed in nurses uniforms came to my door. At this point, I was losing control and in danger of waking up, so I looked down at my hands in an effort to re-stabilize. It was hard; my hands were deformed and my hair was in my eyes so I couldn't see correctly, and these girls were not helping because they were distracting me by talking to me and reaching out to me. Darkness was closing in, and I knew if I stayed there my LD was doomed. Just then I noticed the light coming from behind the blinds across the room. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I charged at the blinds, hoping to burst through into the daylight and sweet, sweet freedom of the outside.

It worked. I was clear of the window, floating up into the sky, a beautiful sunny day spread out like a painted landscape before me. I hurried to stabilize, looking at my hands while floating up, and everything came into focus: wonderful shades of geen, brilliant yellows, and refreshing blues dotted the ground here and there, forming a palette of springtime color that was straight out of the first colored scene in the Wizard of Oz. Serene fields of grass and trees were cut by rushing brooks, accented by the occaisional cluster of high-rising skyscrapers. I wanted to land on top of one of the skyscrapers and just take it all in, but I was floating off in the other direction, so I just flew around for a while enjoying the sights. I tried to fire a fireball a la Ryu from Street Fighter to blow up a skyscraper, but failed miserably. All that produced was a whisp of orangish-reddish light. I didn't really put much effort into it, and I didn't even say the word that goes along with it (hadoken), so maybe I should try harder next time. A patch of skyscrapers, growing up in clusters that resembled bunches of flowers, looked like these tall chairs from the apartment next to mine. I wanted to pick one of the chair-buildings up with my mind and throw it, so I imagined a string attatched to the building from my hand and jerked it up. This worked, the building went flying and tumbling down, wrecking the peacefulness of the scene and kicking up some dirt, but not much else. I started to lose control. Fade to black.

      4. Time Distortion

FA. I (seemingly) got up, and went over to my computer to check my email like I do every morning. I saw the time, and it said it was 1 am. This perplexed me, as I had gone to bed at 3 am, and didn't manage to fall asleep till at least an hour, if not two hours, later. Further, it was light out, and how could this be if it was 1 am? I looked again, and it said it was 1 pm. This worried me, as that would mean I had overslept class. I looked again, and it was 1 am again. Now I was REALLY confused. WTF was going on? All this WILDing was making my head spin. What time was it? I looked again, and it said 9 am. Now I just gave up. Fade to black.

(at this point, I woke up for real (I did RCs) and checked my clock. 7:15 am)

      5. Teeth Clencher

WILD. Went through extremely long vibrational period. By the end of it, it felt like my teeth were clench in a very, very weird way, and the pressure was so bad that it almost hurt, and I was afraid I was actually doing that in real life and it wasn't just HI, so as soon as I was in the dream (it still felt weird) I woke myself up.

      6. Shared Dream?

WILD. This was the coolest HI I have ever experienced. Before I went to bed that night, I was reading crazy philosophical shit, and thought about it for an hour before falling asleep. So during my HI, there was blue light that formed into the shape of a huge quesiton mark, and I hear a guy talking on the radio about the nature of self and of time. Anyway, I woke up, sat up, and started increasing lucidity and looking at my hands. Before I could adequately stabilize, my roomate came through my door. He was dressed in toilet paper, and had a black pirate had with a skull and bones symbol on the front. Hilarious. He ran over to me out of breath and excited.

"Ryan, Ryan! This is the same dream, man! The same dream! We're in the same dream!"

      "Wha...?"

"I heard you! I heard you saying 'increase lucidity'! I'm lucid, too! We're in the same dream right now! This is sweet!"

I didn't know whether to believe him or not. This was, after all, my dream, and he was, as far as I was concerned, a DC. He fell on my bed and twisted around. I kept on trying to increase lucidity by looking at my hands, but he was distracting me. He also started knawing on my big toe.

"You're knawing on my big toe."

      "Oh...I know. Sorry."

He kind of stopped, but not really. This led me to believe it really was just a DC, but who knows? There were some ghostly heads forming outside my door, but my alarm was going off. I could hear the alarm perfectly well, and knew exactly what it was and where it was coming from, but it didn't wake me up right away. I thought, "Well, I could try to salvage this dream, but alarm is going to keep going off, so I'm not really going to be able to do much." I woke myself up. Fade to black.

My friend usually gets up at 8 am, and my alarm was set for 10:24, so I doubt he was even sleeping then. Maybe I should ask him, though.

      7. Time Snap

This dream happened at some point, I am not sure when or how. It was very strange. Very.

I set my head down to rest, and everything was black, it was nighttime, I closed my eyes to go to sleep, and I was on one side of my bed. About 20-30 seconds later, I literally felt my entire body "snap." My head was jerked, or so it felt, and I was moved instantly to the other side of the bed, and it was blindingly light out. I looked at my clock. It was 10:40 am. I was awake, in reality.

SUCH A WEIRD NIGHT OF DREAMS. Did I really wake up at all? Did I even do the WILDs, or was it all part of a dream? As in, did I really fall asleep quickly when I went to bed at three and just dream all of this, even the "thinking about all the crazy philosophy shit for an hour" part? Or, was it all as I thought, but after my last WILD when I woke up at 10:24, did I fall back asleep and just dream that I went to bed at night on one part of the bed, only to wake up on another at 10:40, the place I fell asleep after my last WILD?

Yeah...it by the end I wasn't QUITE sure whether I woke up in reality or in a dream...very weird. And the epic...I don't really know if it was that long. But I remember "waking up" in that dream at the very end of it, not necesarily realizing i was lucid, I guess, "forming memories" of the present I was in, and I remember thinking, damn, I forget everything that just happened, and there was so much. But might have been really short, who knows.
