I was at school in the cafeteria during first break before band class. I looked up at the clock and it said 11:45, I had 20 minutes before class. (I have been doing many reality checks throughout the past week during the day to get into a habit of it) I looked up at the clock again and it said 3:25...Sadly I didn't recognize that I was in a dream , at the time I just said, "That's weird..." I started to walk through the school towards the staircase but the layout was changed. Rather than it being up against a wall, it was a big open space all around it which looked more like an airport rather than a school. I started talking to my friends (I don't know what we were talking about) and then I looked over towards a chair near the main entrance. I saw this girl that I used to like, but still kind of do and decided that I should show off to impress her . I slid down the railing on my stomach to the floor and then I saw these two twins. I think I knew them, but I couldn't see their faces. At this point in the dream, I may have had a tiny bit of control, but I may not have... I kept trying to think of reasons not to go to class and stay where I was. I was feeling reluctance to go to class at this time, not really a feeling of dread, but I just didn't want to go.

Now here comes the weird part, I woke up in my dream and I remembered two dreams and I was excited that I had something to write down about my dreams. Then I really woke up (and did a reality check) and wrote this down, but I couldn't remember the second dream. It may have had something to do with baseball. This was a very long dream and was definitely the later stages of REM. Definitely past the 7 1/2 hours. Most likely 9 hours.

Ah... you had a false awakening... i love those, get them quite alot. Once i had like 6 in a row, was really awesome.

You see you are dreaming about remembering you dreams which is why you wanted to write something down when you had the FA. Thats a good thing, the more you think about lucid dreaming and do reality checks and such, the easier it will become to remember your dreams and eventually break into lucidity. When i really read up on lucidity and stuff, (i dont do it very often), i end up having LD's all night. Study and enjoy.

Tip: the best way to recall dreams is to wake up while your still dreaming... bout 6 o'clock works for me, but it depends on the hours you keep. Wake up slowly too... dont get up strait way, lay there and try to remember every last detail. Write them down.

Didn't remember anthing, but then again, I woke up really fast for school today. I'm gonna try waking up at 5:45 tomorow so I have time to think.

Dream #1:
False awakening, looked at Sportscenter, Yankees lose 12-2.

Dream #2:
Another dream at school. I only remember part of this one though...The main theme to it was that people were legally allowed to smoke marijuana through some weird bylaw that I just discovered (I don't smoke in real life). I remember waiting out front waiting for my bus and I was talking to my friends and I told Will about this discovery. He started to laugh and he said that he found out about that secret already. So then I remember walking out to the soccer field behind my school. I was walking with my friend Anthony. We went into a shed in the middle of the field (which isn't there normally and I should have noticed that). We went and were about to "light it up" , but then some adult came in that I don't know personally, but he is the father of some freshman in my spanish class. I hid under a table and then he magically turned into this stupid albino kid that goes to my school. Brad Martin. Will jumped up and knocked him down with his shoulder and we all ran out. Then the dream just went dark and I woke up. More missed chances to go lucid, but I will get it soon enough.

May 20
Again, at school waiting for the bus with my friends. I saw my mom's car as soon as I got on the bus and I yelled up to the busdriver, "Can I please get off the bus?" No answer, I yelled up at her again and still no answer. I started to get frustrated and may have gone into an extremely low level of lucidity. I walked up to the front of the bus and the door was open. I yelled at the busdriver, "I'm getting off the bus NOW!" Emphasizing each word. I waited till we got to the stop sign up ahead. We got to the stop sign and I jumped off the bus, but for some reason it was a 6 foot drop from the last step to the ground, so it kind of hurt landing. I ran back to the school to get a ride with my mom, but she had already left by the time I got back. Then I decided to go to the preschool behind the highschool, where there is really just sports fields. I went in and the teachers were incredibly hot and wearing extremely short shorts . Well I guess I got a little "excited" and tried to hide it, and I think I did pretty well. I asked if I could use the phone. They said, "Sure, but you have to sing a song with your sister first." I don't really have a sister, but I did in the dream. I sang with her reluctantly, then I called home and then somehow arrived at home. My house was mostly the same, but a wall was moved back and the phone was moved to a new spot. The phone rang and it was my cousin at a Redsox game and they beat the Yankees. I said that they weren't even playing the Yankees today, but then my grandpa just said, "well I don't car, I try and avoid Yankee fans anyway." i told him I love being a Yankee fan in a Redsox school. Then they left and I sat down for dinner. Popcorn chicken, Ziti noodles, and bread. So I am snacking on my bread and on of my braces pops loose. I say to myself, "WHAT THE F*CK?!" Well then I devide to keep eating and 4 more brackets pop loose. now I was getting kind of anxious and scared because I didnt want to have wasted about a year's worth or suffering because bread knocked my braces off. I started blaming my edntist and calling him all these names (my uncle is my dentist). I decided to pull off my bracecs and partial retainer, which I dont have, and start to eat. But then I am too scared to eat and want to get to the dentist right agay so he can fix the braces. Then I learned that oour insurance doesn't start for 2 days. If I waited 2 days to get my braces fixed, my teeth would be so screwed up... So I'm really mad and waiting and then the mail comes (at 6:30 for some reason) And...WOO HOO the insurance actually starts today! Then I woke up and made sure my braces were still there. I felt this huge feeling of relief come over me.

I was watching a Nascar race on TV. It was the race at Michigan this week and it was rainy at the track. The race starts and Earnhardt Jr. is lading through turn 2. On the back straight, what is usually a wide lane about 4 cars wide, turned into a single lane bottleneck tunnel that goes down into the ground about 10 feet. The cars go in a come out fine, except Dale Jarret #88 and Jimmy Benson #10. They came out alot faster than everyone else and Jarret jumped his car about 10 feet up in the air and passed Benson. When Jarret landed, his tires blew up. I was very surprised at this and should have noticed it and gone lucid, but I missed it as well as everything else. I watched 2 more laps and then the dream faded to black. The End.

Dream #2
It started with Peter and Chris from Family Guy walking in a park at 50% transparency. Peter said to Chris, "This mesh will keep us invisible." Then I show up and we started to play a racketball type game like "Curveball" on Addicting Games.com. The End.

May 22
The only thing I remember was something about watching the Lightning vs. Flyers in Game 7 of the playoffs. I only remember one view and it was from behind the glass behind the Lightning's net. Not much to write about today, but then again I had to get up really fast for a job interview.

I have recalled 7 dreams in the past 6 days, and that is a huge improvement from my 1 every 2 weeks earlier this month. This training stuff is really working, but now I have to start getting into a habit or doing reality checks 21 times a day. I can't wait till this work pays off!

Wow, I havn't posted in a while. I've been busy and havn't remembered much lately. I'll type up what I have written down later. The coolest thing is that I had my first lucid dream. Ill write about it later.
