Sanz's warped world...

Ok, so first off let me say that I have become far too lax in my physical written dream journals, and it is my beleif this is a major reason for my dwindling dreams lately. So I will attempt to post my dreams here, and if I haven't posted at least one line a day, I request that someone kick my a*se and nag me till I do :D J/k. But yeah, so I will try and keep my journal here.

Recurring characters in my dreams include:

Charmaine (aka, Charms, Mainy, Jara) - she's around 1.5m tall, has shoulder-length dusty blonde hair, a round face, a spontanious, bouncy manner and is a very eccentric person. Occasionally she appears as characters from RPG's and random imaginings. I will describe variations as they occur.

Claude - Charms' Boyfriend who is around her height, teardrop face, has a mowhawk around 15cm's high and tatoos from both elbows up. Normally a quiet observer.

Gareth (aka. Gazz, Gazzerith, Gary) - Around 1.9m's tall, Square jaw, Short, semi-wavy brown hair and changes in temperament.

Elaine (aka. Imoto, Lex) Around 1.6m's tall, very well built, shortish blonde hair, tom-boy of note.

PJ - My very large and bubbley friend... He's around my height (1.8m's), round face, he is extremely random, blonde and boystrous, and normally the instigator of bizarre situations.

Gerard (Aka. Bios, Skippy) PJ's more calm and easy-go-lucky brother. He's shroter than his brother (1.7m's), has an oval face, and is consderably more lean than his brother. The two balance each other out quite well and normally appear together.

Yoruichi-sama - My dream guide. She orriginally was no more than a voice that helped me, but when I associated her with this character in the Bleach anime, she took this form, though the appearance is different. She generally helps me with controlling my environment and combat training.

Imekaido - Not so much a character as a reoccuring object... That would be my dream sword which I have yet to master in summoning. (one of my lucidity goals)

Mr. Familiar - Another Dream guide, though I haven't seen him in a while. He's around 1.9m tall, well built, normally appears in a business suit and offers advice and guidence, though in a less direct manner than Yourichi-sama.

Any other characters that I might encounter in my dreams I shall describe, but these are the most common ones...

Right. I'll start my journal tomorrow (seeing as I'm on my way to bed.)

Dream 1:

I would love to know why I still get these dreams... When I was like 13 I used to be obsesses with Power Rangers and at 21 I srill dream about it! :p

Don't remember full details though. I recall me (supposedly a pink PR) looking out of a window on the 3rd story of a building. The view looks out over a hilly type area with lots of trees, and there's a parking lot below with no cars - there's been an evacuation. Something somewhere has gone wrong, and I'm talking to Tommy (Still White Rager) about needing to try and gather the vrious rangers that have come and gone for a team effort agaist whatever this new threat is. That's about all I remember here.

Another dream:

I'm at a gentleman's house that reminds me of one of my RL clent's houses. I'll draw it out rather than describe it...

The most part of the dream happened outside, so I didn't get a look at the inside of the house, though the overall garden was extremely busshy and shadey with LOTS of trees ^_^

Again, only remember part of the dream as a whole, particularly a conversation with the gentleman (Tall, broad shoulders, wearing black jeans and a navy T-shirt, he had short brown hair and a psharp face with shocking brown eyes.) and one of his friends (Shorter, more stocky character. He's got blond hair though he's balding, and he's wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with brown leather shoes.)

Myself and the first gentleman were braaing (aka BBQ) under the gazibo making light conversation on family and the sorts. As we spoke, I had memories of having spoken with him before in what appeared to be something of a college scenario, and debates of various topics (which now escape me) came to mind. (Perhaps I knew him from another dream?) There was a white board under the gazibo with diagrams and illustrations from discussions we had had that same morning. The main one appeared to be something of a spider, which I had srawn a full frontal view of and labeled different parts of, though not by the names of what they really were.

We were discussing the behavior of certain creatures under certain energetic influences, when the second guy walked in and asked 'what about butterflies?' 'What about them?' I replied. 'Well,' he said, 'surely you can't observe changes in their behavior from a distance?' I smiled at him and said 'Ah, but you can!' He looked at me quizzically. 'Watch the butterfly's wings.' I said. 'There will alwys be a minimal difference in timing between when the top two wings move by comparrison to the bottom two. That holds the key...'

I woke up after that. I'd love to know where I get this stuff from :p

Nothing major this time again.

This time I'm visiting with Michael and Sabastian, but as they were 2 years ago. We're in a house that has the Kitchen, lounge and entrance hall of their old house, but everything else of their new one. The computer is on a desk which is sitting forming a corner between the end of the passage and the lounge.

Marisa's busy making luncg - Butterfish I hear in conversation, and the boys are playing with Beyblade spinners. Michael shows me a new Pokemon game on his computer where you have to take photo's of pokemon, but it's in GBA format. I'm struggling to get a Wartortle to stop pulling faces in the game when I wake up.

Ok, hectic dream this one...Haven't had on like this in a while. I scare myself when I dream like this...

I'm at a shopping mall, Centurion center, With two people who I don't know but who are apparently my friends. The one is a girl around my shoulder height, shoulder-lenght brown hair and a teardrop face, she's wearing a short black skirt under which are black leggings. She's also wearing black boots and a navy-blue holter top. Her name is Amy. The other girl, Candice, is also around the same height, blond hair cropped to a bob which frames her round face. She's wearing blue jeans, white platform sneakers and a pink-yellow tie-dye sleeveless top.

We're walking out of the mall around 7 the evening - it's dusk, the sky is turning an off blue but it's still light whough to see very clearly. Still, the street lamps in the parking lot are on. the parking lot is a lot more shaded than it should be - there is parking construction for a double level parking expansion at the other end of the lot, and it creates this sort of secluded feeling. I can still smell the wet dust and cement from the day's work. The air is chilly, though not too cold considering I'm wearing a v-neck T-shirt and jeans and still feel quite comfortable. Candice says goodbye as we exit the mall and walks off to the right where her car is parked rather close. Amy and I walk on across the road toward the island in the middle of the lot on the way to our cars. I drop my keys while taking them out of my bag. I bend down to pick them up. On rising again though, I see there are some shadey guys coming towards Amy and I from either side... One grabs me from behind. "AMY!!!" I yell, she turns to face me, and I feel the panic rise in her. "Run!" I shout to her, she doesn't hesitate.

She takes off towards a tunnel leading towards the lake that's on the other side of the buildings. I lean back and throw myself forward to force my attacker on the ground in front of me. Another runs at me and I punch him in his chest, he stumbles back so I take the chance to run after Amy. They follow. We go through the tunnel, on the other side is a balcony. The balcony looks down over the lake and a terrace beside it. Here the light is golden as it reflects off the water. We run to the left towards a library at the end of the corridor. Gun Shots come from below. Several by-standers fall down and people scatter. I see at lease 4 people that fall in on the balcony, Amy being one.

"NO!" I run to try help her and get shot in the leg. I try looking over the edge of the balcony and see a bunch of the same guys on what's like a cross between a 4X4 and one of those phone line repair trucks. Some of them climb into the platform that can be raised. I hear the laughter and jeering between them and crawl to Amy's side. She's got a wound in the chest and her blood's on the floor, next to her lies another woman, also dead, crumpled against the wall.

I hear the platform begin to raise and try to just lie there, hoping they'll go away thinking I'm dead. I half open an eye towards the platform, they must've seen me - They opened fire with some or other automatic weapon and I felt as the bullets hit me - my legs, my cest, my head. I know I felt at least one pierce my heart and felt as my skull buckled under 2 others. Everything went black...

'Oh no you don't...' That voice, I haven't heard it in months. Yoruichi-sama. I feel a warmth on my forehead and open my eyes to see I'm in the entrance of the Library, Yourichi above me, her hand on my head. 'Since when do you let a dream get the better of you? And Stalkers nonetheless!' (Queue Lucidity) I feel a rage well inside my chest and she smiles. While I might have control right now there is one thing on my mind - revenge. I stand up and feel my leg pull where the bullet still appears to be lodged, but it now seems distant. I have a splitting headache and my chest aches but nothing right now will quench it except death. I stand and one of my 'killers' walks through the door holding some sort of grenade. Yoruichi stands back, "After you..." I hold my hand out and make as if to strangle him. I do, even though my hand is far from his neck. He drops, as does the grenade. I feel the extreme heat blast my skin as I throw a shield around myself. I walk through the fire, Yoruichi still by my side. Two more guys come running down the corridors, Yoruichi puts her hand out to stop one, I stop the the other, both about 5 m's away. I take control of both of them a lift them in the air, I throw them towards the lake intending them to hit the sharp railings between the terrace and the water. The hit their mark and more come running. I close my eyes and take a breath, I call the fire too me and in a visible wave of distorted energy and flame I send a shockwave of energy out, just short of dissolving any other remaining enemies (There were around 5, two more on the balcony and 3 downstairs). I stand, thrilled, elated at the swirling of ebergy and flame and fury, and pain. Then I collapse. I fall, I collide with the floor and awake to my pillow.

Traveling does not do me well... I haven't slept well the last 2 nights, but I've been crazily busy! :p

Last night I remember driving and seeing signs pointing to Kimberly, but they all say we were going in the wrong way. Then I recall me being in my hotel room, but the beds being on the right of the room rather than the left. Justin's there and he's leaning on the one bed and we were talking, though I don't remember what about. *shrug* not much more than that.

I'm in an area that looks something like a warehouse in so far as it's a huge hall with movable metal shelves all over, though not in exact isles. There are some shelves at 45 degree and right angles too. The hall has three walls, the fourth wall is missing and leads to a courtyard which is open air. This open-aired courtyard is triangular in shape and leads to a building on the oposite 2 sides, the one to the left is a closed wall again, the one to the right is a display hall where it looks like there is an art exhibition on.

On the actual shelves are various arrays of things: Colourful pillows, odd jokers' hats, books, files, candles, boxes, all of different shapes, styles and colours. I don't really have any clue what it is, but it remindes me of a warehouse or storeroom for Drama supplies.

This is where my dream begins... I'm looking at a particularly interesting candle of gorgeous deep reds, blues and gold and forms a strange spiraling shape. Just then, I'm taken by surprise by an oldish man with an oblong face, redish-grey beard and balding hair with round glasses - my old art teacher from highschool, Mr. Brauman. His first words: "Why aren't you in the show?!" He pushes some red and purple pillows with silver tassles aside and peeks at me from the oposite side of the shelves. I shake my head, momentarily disorietated then reply, "I haven't had time." "Time?" He says, "what do you mean time?" I look at him squarely and shrug "I hven't had time. I've been too busy with work..." "Oh? And What work is that?" "My I.T. work." I become defensive at the sarcastic tone in his voice. "I.T.?" He looks bemused.

"What are you doing in I.T.? Why aren't you painting?" He looks at me intently. "I told you I haven't had time." "You haven't had time? By God girl, you're made of time! You are one of the finest artists in South Africa, a legacy of culture rests on people like you and you haven't had time???" I look at him not knowing what to say. "Now," his tone now matter-of-factly, "I want to see at least 2 of your works here today at the exhibition." I'm still trying to figure out what he's playing at when I decide to conceed. "Ok," I leave.

In this part of my dream I went to my home to pick up two paintings, I met something, (no not someone, something) and something imprtant happened, something that changed something, though I can't remember what! DAMN IT!!! (If anyone knows any advanced memory techniques to help me remember, Pls tell me?)

I return to the gallery portion of the buildings holding two paintings, both framed. One smaller one, about A4 in size, and another larger one, something around A2. The smaller one I recall thinking is a painting I did of a seashell, and the other is one of a lion and her cub I once did. When I take them out to put on display though I find that somehow I mistook 2 of my grandmothers old paintings that used to be in her house for the ones I wanted. I get annoyed and wake up.

Anyways, not been dreaming much the last few days, need to focus a little more. Today all I remember is that I must have watched FAR too much Heroes last night... I was part of the various scenes but I kept changing small things, though I can't remember what. I know I interacted with Hiro and Peter more than once, but I don't know why or where :/ There was one point just before I woke up that it was made apparent to me that I needed to remeber a number for some important reason, which now escapes me on waking. 10185. *Shrug* means nothing to me right now.

Last night I remember that my mom, brother and I went on holiday. At the hotel though we meet Charms though, so my mom says that I should bunk in with Charms rather than her and my brother. The reception is a seperate building built with wood like a wood log cabin type thing and it's facing a lagoon. The resort itself is based on a sandbar sticking out between two bays and a lagoon is a few meters away from the beach with the most gorgeous turquoise blue water!

Charms and I get our keys and it's for shalet(sp?) number 67, but each shalet has 3 rooms which are first come first serve. Shalet number 67 is right at the end of the sand bar. The base of the shalet is square, with 2 rooms sharing the base (each in an L-shape) and one additional room on top on the other two with the roof of the bottom floor creating a porch type effect. Charms and I get the room overlooking the one bay, what I would perceive as west as the sun is setting. It's a pale sunset, but it's not quite shocking but the dusty purples, pale pinks and gorgeous oranges create a stunning end to the day and the turquoise waters glow. I just remember how breathtakingly beautiful it was before I woke up ^_^

Wierd dream last night... Wish I could remember how it flowed together.

Main scene that I remember:

There's a skyscraper, around 34 stories high. It's me and two other people who I don't recognise, a mother and her daughter. The mother looks almost like mine - tall, late forties with brown/red hair. She's wearing a black camisole with black pants too. The daughter is around 16, long red hair wearing blue jeans, a light blue sleeveless t-shirt and sneakers.

The skyscarper is in a CBD, but most of the buildings are much shorter , most not even 10 stories high by comparrision. The city itself is built on a coast line overlooking the sea with a cliff behind it to the North. There are two monoliths on top of the cliff which are aligned with the top story of the sky scraper.

At one point in the dream I'm running after the girl and she's screaming about being followed, her mom and I are running after her trying to get her to calm down and tell us by what. She charges into an office somewhat in the middle of the building and shouts 'OF THAT!!!' The scene zooms out and shows her pointing out the tinted windows of the building to the cliffs with me and her mom staring to where she's pointing. The scene moves out and like a camera zooming out and swings around showing us some presumable portal which has formed between the two monoliths. Swirling clouds of black smoke and dust form a vertical funnel between the two stone buildings. It seems to have a face...

Suddenly I'm back at the office looking at the thing from 2 or 3 kms away not sure what to say. The mother is confused too... 'Wha...What is that thing?' She gasps. 'I dunno...' the daughter sobs. 'I don't know what it is but it's almost like it's watching me, following me, I can almost feel it's toungue tasting my blood!' She runs back out of the office and into the staircase at the end of the corridor which leads to the roof.

Her mother looks exhasperated and shrinks against the wall, I observe the scene then turn to leave and follow her. the door to the stairwell is still swinging. I climb up to the roof 3 stories higher to see her staring out towards the sea where the sun is setting. I see the sun reflecting on her tears... I walk towards her, she flinches as she notices me and quickly wipes her tears away. I go and lean on the railing bornering the roof with her. The sun colours the sky deep reds and dark blues. I just stand and wait.

'I'm sorry' she says taking a deep breath... 'It's just...' she turns back to glance at the ominous shape behind us and bursts into tears again. She sinks to the floor. I lean down and try to comfort her, I place my hand on her shoulder. Her mom opens the door from the stairwell and comes gripping a polestyrine cup. she offers it to her daughter and I see it's water. She takes it with a weak smile and sips it with shaking hands. Her mom sits next to her. I look at the pair... I stand up. At that point I feel scared and excited... I know I need to help. 'It'll be alright...' I say. 'I'll make it alright.'

I go to the edge of the building and jump off and feel the wind rushing against my face. I see the city coming close, then I close my eyes and think about flying. When I opened my eyes I was shooting up and heading for the cliffs.

The rest is a blur... I recall fighting 2 things, but I can't remember what they are. I just know they were flying and I was crashing down. Then another scene where I was hiding and managed to trap my persuers. Don't know what happened or how it ends... That sux.

I'm in a place that's supposed to be our local shopping mall, Centurion. But everything is different...

The waterfront is round and the first floor reaches up 5 stories in stead of the usual 3. In stead of having passages shoot off to either side, it's just the rounded waterfront with the following stores (from left to right when looking at it)

Some Italian resturaunt, but the name escapes me. The Decor is all enchanted blue with silver and gold, long draped lie the windows and lights are shining from under the floor to illuminate the walls. Three old fashioned chandeliers are visible through the windows,though they have synthetic candles burning in them. The mood is very romantic. They make AWESOME Ice-Cream :D (I hava some blueberry cheescake)

Moving right we have some or other video/audio shop who's entrance is narrow but opens up once you enter it.

Then some shop called 'Sparkles and Stuff' where they sell glass lamps and beads, wind chimes, crystals and the likes. All the items (if they aren't hanging) are on Glass Shelves that move in a crescent shape around the store. The walls seem to be made of blue glass that's coloured so it looks like water and it's lit from behind. When I see it I get all excited... "Oh FINALLY! It moveddown stairs!!!" I exclaim. (apparently my dream self has been here before)

Next we have the esculators leading upstairs, with w aterfall on either side of the esculators and stairs inbetween the two sets. After that the CNA is still in place.

Then we have a computer store that sells anything and everything to do with computers, but also have a variety of card, RP and board games. Their clour scheme reminds me of BenQ with the purples and blues, but it's got maroon tied in with it and logic tells me it can't be, but I can't figure out what brand it is.

Next is a book store that's also seeling christmas decorations for some reason. The store itself is beautiful with various walkways making up additional stories within the store and stairs leading up. Occasionally they will have big colourful and poofy couches that people can sit and read on, so while the plain colours of white and grey are widely and brightly lit, the shelves, books andfuriture add a nice vibrant energy about the place.

I basically spent the night exploring ^_^ Didn't go up top though.

Ok, long story short (mostly because I can't remember the details) I was playing a Warhammer tournament at Kevin's house, but we were playing outside in the sun. I won and he said I could choose between 3 preconstructed yu-gi-oh decks. I decided on a redish one, but when I opened it it just had sweets inside, some of which were white chocolate malt balls. I took it back and asked Kevin if I could exchange it, he said no because he can't take back something that was opened.... :p

Haha Sanz... if I were you and I couldn't return the candy pseudo-deck, I'd have eaten it... but then again, if they were supposed to be a deck, there might have been special side-effects to them :eek:
