      Psylocibin's Dream Journal

      Hello and welcome.

I won't post all my dreams here, just the ones I feel are significant or interesting. It just so happens I had one this morning. Forgive my grammar mistakes. English is not my motherlanguage and I write these things just after waking up.

      Dream 1: Computergame Graveyard Aquarium
At first I was travelling up and down between two destinations together with my sister and my mother. We called eachother a lot.
Next thing I remember I was somewhere in a house. I think they were still present at this time. I had to take care of an aquarium, and I remember trying to catch all the little fish (guppies?) but one of them wouldn't cooperate.
Somewhere there it all turned into a computer game, and I could see a kind of overview map with the computer character standing on level 2, which was a graveyard. Slightly to the right of my character, in between some dark trees and gravestones, stood my aquarium. Somehow it was the prize I got for finishing level 1. Level 1 was more to the upper left, I can't remember what that was but I think it was yellow desert-ish. Level 3 was underground the graveyard, I could see a trapdoor / stairs leading down on the down right corner of the screen. I wanted to go there. I started walking but I met a skeleton and I (the game character) had a cartoonlike scary reaction.
Then an ex-girlfriend (R) asked me if she could use the computer. She did, and then asked me if I didn't want to finish talking to ... on MSN. I replied that I'd just walked away in the middle of a conversation but that it didn't matter, and I asked R for a lighter. She wanted to give me a cigarette, which was odd cause I was already holding one. Around this time I woke, recorded the dream and went back to sleep.

      Dreamsigns
Reality turning into a computergame and vice versa. (I have this occasionally. I blame my upbringing. )
      Dream 2: Controlled Alligator
Me and someone else were being chased by a group of people. We climbed some kind of wooden tower, with a ladder. Once I got to the top I saw some kind of deflated (plastic?) alligator and I said something like "Yeah, that looks like an alligator! Turn into a real alligator and attack them!" cause I knew I could influence my surroundings. And surely enough, it did turn into a real alligator, except it started crawling towards us instead, which I thought was rather amusing. I kicked it off the tower towards the people chasing us. Sadly, that's all I can remember. I think I was lucid, but I don't remember becoming lucid and my awareness and control were limited. Still.

Edit: In retrospect I wasn't lucid at all. I just wanted to be so much that I interpreted it like that.

      Talking My first lucid dream

      First Lucid
I was in the neighbourhood where I've spent most of my childhood. Then I became lucid. I can say that for certain now.
I noticed my hand was kinda "rippling", like waves of water. It was amazing. I don't know if I realized I was dreaming and looked at my hand to get more detail, or that I looked at my hand and became lucid as a result. Anyway, it was great! I have been doing RCs a lot lately and I've consciously thought "hey what if this is a dream?" but it's still quite a shock once you realize that, this time, yes, it is a dream! Heh.
So anyway, after rubbing my hands (which felt very real, I remember thinking "maybe I'm rubbing my hands in my sleep for real now.") I decided to try flying up a little. Not too much cause I was afraid I might lose lucidity. It was so awesome, especially the feeling when I was descending back to the street. Wooosh! I then tried to do a forward flip but that didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. I kinda landed on my heels and back. I looked at my hand quite a lot, cause it was just so weird and amazing to see it ripple. Then I saw two guys standing behind a row of parked cars. They started bragging about how skilled lucid dreamers they were. Then another guy showed up, who somehow felt familiar to me. He was fat and had glasses. He looked at the other two and said "amateurs!" I reflected on this and started grinning cause I realized they were all just in my mind. So I ignored their babbling and I tried to make the smaller one of the two levitate. That didn't work, and from there on recall fades.

I woke up next to my girlfriend. She started talking but I was frantically looking for my dream journal to write my dream down, telling her to be quiet. I couldn't find my dream journal, so I looked up at her, and at my hand, and it was still rippling!
      "I'm still dreaming aren't I!"
She just grinned at me knowingly.

I remember some fragments of beautiful blonde women on a tv screen. One of them stood out, she was lying on a chair on the beach. I wanted to go to her but I couldn't.

I remember standing in the hall of the university, spinning, trying to change the scenery. (Who wants to be at the uni in a lucid dream.) It didn't work, and I went outside.

There was a festival going on. I was still looking for my dream journal, which shows that I wasn't as clearminded as before because I didn't realize that there was no point in looking for it. People were getting beer, we were standing in a crowd, standard festival procedure. Then I lost my group. Next thing I remember I was walking down some stairs with two gothic-dressed girls. The stairs were overgrown with moss and plants. The girl walking in front of me was obviously drunk, and I caught her when she almost fell over the edge. (The stairs were in the open air.)
Then I ended up in a room with three guys, all medicine or law students. (They're a particular breed that I don't like that much.) The building they lived in looked grey/brown and very old and worn. I asked them "so you really stay here all the time?" to which they replied "yeah". I said, "but you can just do this!" and I lifted my arm up and flew right through the ceilings, one by one cracking them open, until I was up in the air. That's all I can remember. Chronology might be incorrect in the fragments after the false awakening.

      ---

I'm not sure about the latter part being lucid. The thing I love the most was all the detail. It wasn't like reality, but it wasn't like an ordinary dream either. Amazing, amazing.
I think after the false awakening I was still aware that I was dreaming, to a certain extent, but because I was so happy that I'd become lucid, I wanted to write it down, which is where dream logic fooled me. The first part was by far the best.
Also, perhaps the two guys bragging about their lucid "skills" were a way in which my unconscious limited me. My flip didn't go well and I couldn't levitate the guy, but I flew! And even if it was just a few meters above the street, it was such a great feeling! Hehe, ok I'll stop rambling now and go have some coffee.

Edit: My recall has increased significantly and I think ranma's induction has something to do with it.

For your first lucid, it seems you managed to stay lucid for quite some time. I'm not suprised since it sounds like you were loving every minute of it. It seems you're a natural flyer as well. Busting through the ceilings like that was pretty cool.

I know, but it felt less real than the first time I flew. I hope you're right about me being a natural flyer cause that was about the only thing I could do. :p

I think the handrubbing and spinning might've kept me more focused. I'm glad I remembered to do that.

And! Today I found Exploring The World Of Lucid Dreaming on my doorstep!

      Kaleidoscopic hallways

I'm looking at my girlfriend and kind of, erm, touching her. She wears a red sweater I like a lot, but then I discover she's wearing a short skirt and panties of the same material. I start wondering, cause I don't believe she owns those. I ask myself if I'm dreaming, but I reply with "of course not, ridiculous". But then I see her room is about twice the size it usually is, and there's a low big blue table there, akin to a pooltable but without pockets. She goes to sit on the table on her hands and knees.
I realize I'm dreaming. Unfortunately, I forget to rub my hands or spin. Instead, I immediately try to fly off, to no avail. The environment changes. We're now in a large complex of interconnected hallways, like a huge museum. The walls are very colourful and intricate, like a mosaic or church windows. I run very fast through the halls and try to shoot fireballs, but that doesn't work. I keep trying to fly and I jump higher and higher, until I'm able to stay up in the air. I fly through the kaleidoscopic constantly changing halls at a huge speed. My girlfriend follows me on the ground, cause she can't fly. It was really a wonderful sight, although it wasn't as clear as my previous lucid. After a while of speeding through the hallways I enter a huge room. I'm now flying very fast and as high as possible. My head is touching the ceiling, some lights in metal boxes on the ceiling are coming at me very fast. I notice there are two or more "paintings" in this hall, and there are two giants looking at them. The paintings look like kaleidoscopes, fragmented coloured crystals or something. The giants are both male, one is slightly taller than the other. I can see my girlfriend standing on the ground, very small from up here. I descend a bit to avoid hitting the lamps, until I'm about giant-waist-high, floating still in the air. I want to fly up and talk to them, but I wake up.

      ---

I don't think it was an accident that both my lucid dreams were in the morning while I was with my girlfriend. She usually wakes me by moving in the morning, and I drift back to sleep afterwards. I think I enter REM then, and I'm clearheaded enough to recognize I'm dreaming, because I was just awake. Oddly enough, this is one of the first dreams I actually remember in detail again. And it's lucid!

School Stress and Battling the Giant Microwave Brain
I was working on a school assignment with R, but she was angry with me because I hadn't done anything yet and the deadline was only three days away. She wrote me a very angry mail, and said that I pretended to be busy but I wasn't and that she "looks deeper into the lake" (me). Later I agreed to do the assignment with J.

I was with M, walking through a park. We stopped at a bus stop and looked at the map. A was standing next to us.

I was at a hotel, which later changed into my parents place. There was a giant brain attacking me and my mother (?) and we had to stop it. We put it in the microwave and first I found oil, which we poured on it and lighted it. It made shrieking noises. Then a little bit of brain was still left. I found some bleach and we put the last of the brain in the bleach. By now it looked darkgreen with a little brown. My mother was eating cucumber with yogurt sauce but I thought she was eating the brain from the bleach, until I saw it was different. Then, for some reason, I took a little bite out of the brain with bleach. Don't ask why, I have no clue.

Tumbling Down to London and Bankrobbery Cartoon Girls
I had to do an assignment for school in a group. My group consisted of me and four girls. For some reason they were sleeping at my place. I remember "waking" and getting into a conversation with one of them. She was concerned "Where exactly this is going" between her and me, because we had lots of fun before, which I vaguely remember. No sex or anything, just talking and laughing. I replied that she needn't worry because I had a girlfriend. She was pleased with that.
They walked around in my house but I took a shower and had breakfast alone. Then I met the blonde, slightly fat, but still a pretty girl. I talked to her but I can't remember the conversation.

      Gap in memory.

I remember being on the side of a crossroads sitting in a blue wheelchair. I could easily get up but it was fun playing around with the wheelchair. A group of guys showed up. They started fighting. There were two groups all of a sudden, dressed in football outfits, fighting. After a while out of nowhere one of them jumped really high into the back of another one, just as the rest had calmed down. They laughed really hard. I laughed along, sadist that I am. Then four differently dressed (black/ blue) guys started to pee at the fence. The smallest had filled a bottle with his urine and after finishing, he started running around with it, throwing urine at everyone. I fled in my wheelchair, and I rolled back to the school. It wasn't like the university, but i knew it was my school. It was more like my highschool. When i got in an american soldier was behind me, he was guarding the school. I remember thinking "Why the hell do soldiers guard the school?" I was looking for my group of girls but couldn't find them.

Gap in memory, some random imagery.

I remember seeing some kind of person or face which sparked a bit of lucidity. I asked him to give me the paper for some reason. I didn't get the paper but I could hear someone ripping/ crackling paper and I realized I was dreaming.
I had a false awakening. I realized I was dreaming when I saw that my window was covered in some kind of pink distortion, like TV static but pink. The nose RC worked but I didn't trust it. I looked at my hand which was changing so I thought I was dreaming but I was still cautious. I decided not to fly out of the window but climb out. I phased through the pink sparkly glass. First time I've done that. It was raining but as I got out it stopped raining and the sun started to shine.
I walked around on the roof a bit. Looking down I saw two guys, one with blonde dreadlocks. I asked them where london was (I wanted to go there, don't ask why), the blonde guy pointed to the right "that way". "How do I get there?" I asked. "Just tumble down to London." I asked in my head "Yeah but what if I'm not dreaming?" The fact that I had just phased through a pink window somehow escaped me.
Then I was on the ground, I think I was still talking to the two guys, and I suddenly decided I wanted to fly! So I flew up, trying to get to London I think, but I only got up into a tree and then I descended back down again to the street, with that now familiar but still awesome feeling again. Wooosh.
I walked along the street when I saw a bankrobbery was taking place. The robbers were running out. One was bald and shooting at people, so I wanted to summon a gun to kill him. I said "There's a gun in my hand." That didn't work, instead I just stood there going "pow! pow! pow!" at the robber with my hand stretched out. That didn't kill him unfortunately and he pointed the gun at me. I think I got shot even though I didnt hear anything. I ran towards the entrance of the bank while telling the robbers "Dude, just relax, be friendly." cause i thought maybe that would make them stop shooting.
I walked into the bank looking for someone to have sex with. I said "I want someone to have sex with." My perspective changed around here, I was watching myself in the third person. I wonder why that happened. A girl offered herself but the dream had turned into some kind of anime cartoon. She said "Aww are you cartooning me?" I tried to change it but I couldn't. I danced with her in the middle of the hostage situation. Then i saw another cartoon girl, really big breasts, but I woke up.

      ---

WBTB seems to be the thing that works for me. I have not yet done a RC which triggered lucidity, I always do them after the suspicion creeps in. I will do a WBTB every morning now. I will have to let go of the whole sex thing, because that's most likely what ended the dream. Too much excitement. First I will have to increase my skills. I was too much in doubt of the fact that I was dreaming. Work in progress.
