Sybot's Dream Journal

Might as well get this started. Keeping my journal online is probably safer than on paper, plus if I write anything embarresing down then my family won't find it. No lucids yet, but I've only really gotten started due to a number of factors

I started my journal on 17/6/07 after a few nights of waking up but not being bothered to record my dreams.

17/6/07

[Dream]I was eating breakfast with my brother. We were in one section of four that were sort of backed onto each other . Each one had a table and a TV. I was watching Babylon 5 on the TV(no idea what episode, just that I was watching it). I left the room for some reason and saw another TV that was showing MoHS (dub version). Adverts came on so I went somewhere (probably the toilet). When I came back Power Rangers was on intead. I looked at the TV listings and saw a Power Rangers style monster on them.[/Dream]

A bit wierd and full of TV references, but some dreams aren't supposed to make sense I guess...

[Dream]I was going to have a bath but I found some strange eyes that were all red and spinny and that could self-replicate using computer commands. Eventually they disappeared and I washed my hair. My hair suddenly felt really heavy on one side like it was lead (when I woke up I decided it was probably the feeling of my head on the pillow). My mum suddenly said I needed to get it cut while I pondered what different types of hair would feel like in that situation. For some reason the word cuticles came to mind, even though that means nails.[/Dream]

This dream does make a bit more sense, as at that point I didn't really like my hair due to a poor cutting job done on it. So I guess my subconcious was worrying about it.

Speaking of dreams, its getting late. I'll continue writing up the journal tommorow. Here's hoping I can add to it tonight!

[Dream]I was in an underground factory that manufactured clay pots. At some point I went to the surface and was attacked by animals, including dinosaurs. I managed to beat them WoW style. Later my way was blocked by a woman, but I got her to move by activating the clay pot making machinery. I went into the factory and suddenly found myself in a room writing the script to Starcraft while my old schoolfriends taunted me aout something I think happened in a previous dream that night.[/Dream]

This one was filled with video game references :?.

[Dream]A cousin of mine was in a hospital for some reason and I had to go help him. I was led there by a DC who's eyes were cloudy white meaning she was blind. She said that smelt liek I'd been to my "mother's party" adn that I smelled "fresh". When I got there my cousin came running out of the room and grabbed onto my legs (he's a little kid).[/Dream]

This may have been connected to the previous one, as I think the hospital might have been in the factory.

There is a big gap now as I moved back home from uni and had to get used to my old bed again, not to mention the fact that whereas at uni I could roll over in my bed and write in the journal, at home I have to get out of bed to write.

[Dream]I was helping two warring factions make peace by giving them a substance that would calm them down long enough to negotiate. There was more but I forgot it...[/Dream]

This sounds a lot like part of the plot to Farscape: TPC. I probably got it from there.

[Dream]I was in a building about eight stories high along with Hitler. I was assigned the task of figuring out what to do with him. I took him to the top floor to throw him off, but instead he jumped out of the window himself. Looking out I noticed a pool of water at the bottom of the building. This led to an underground lake/flooded place. I followed him but some people (merpeople maybe?) attacked me so I had to leave. I went back in again later and found the bones of two people and two giant fish. Somehow I knew they had been helping Hitler escape (only in a dream would this make sense :rolleyes:). I left and checked out some CCTV footage of the pool. However, I didn't see myself get in when at the time when I should have. Abruptly I was back at the start with Hitler again. This time I just decided to take him out of the ground floor and shoot him, but for some reason I was worried that Culture drones would stop me. Suddenly I realised that I was in a closed time loop. The CCTV footage showed the real timeline where I never entered the pool.[/Dream]

Certainly the most detailed dream I've been able to recall which is a good sign. No idea what the significance of killing Hitler is, but I'd suspect there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind throwing him off a building.

Due to various issues I haven't had good sleep these past two nights so I don't have anything to record for them. However, now that I am settled in back home I am ready to begin properly working towards LDs.
