Stewboy's dream journal

I registered here a few days ago, but haven't posted yet. I've had several dreams over the last few days that I can actually remember, so I decided I might as well write them here.

9/7/07
I was in some sort of public place. I can't remember if it was a swimming pool or a shopping centre, but it was somewhere like that. I walked around a corner and saw two of my cousins playing Doom on their mini computer thing. I went over and joined them for a while, then went to the bathroom. When I opened the door to get out, I stopped quickly because it opened out into deep space. Also, I could somehow sense that there was some sort of gravity concentrator invisible machine thing outside the door. (No, I have no idea what it meant either.) I went back in for a while, then opened the door out into a small bookshop. Still in deep space. I somehow sensed that the machine thing mentioned earlier was gone, so I have no idea what it actually was. There were people all through the bookshop, reading books (like you'd expect in a bookshop). There were also some kids around this game thing - it was Duplo or Lego or something like that. I went over and talked to one of them. He was very friendly. I asked him which planet he came from, and he said 'Earth'. I said, "How funny. That's where I'm from too, except in your past." That's all I remember.

Dream 2
I was in some sort of large grey room. There were cages in a block at one side. I walked over to and in between them. There was one man in each cage. There was also a girl, about my age I think (15), standing there talking to my mum. My mum said, "I know exactly what you do with them, and I want no part of it". I didn't really understand what she meant. Then suddenly I was in a cage as well. Somehow, I don't remember exactly how, I organised an escape with the other caged people. Also we were physically unable to move whenever the girl was around, I'm not sure why. Then somehow I let everyone out of their cages, connected two electrical 'transformers' (just small metal boxes with fancy writing on them) to this plate-sized covering in the ground (like a manhole), and opened it. Then suddenly I was at the other side of the room, next to a long stone bench. One of my friends from school appeared next to me, and said "There's your coat and bag", and sure enough there they were on the bench. He then went over to the opening I just opened, along with a line of other random people. Then I saw my dad over there looking confused (like he always does), and I went over and said to him, "Stop, Dad, this is our universe, remember?" and then he lead me out to the carpark outside, with me dragging my bag along. It was night outside. I think I woke up then. I've obviously been watching too much Doctor Who lately.

Dream 3
I was at school, and the bell had gone for end of school. I needed to go somewhere in a hurry, can't remember where, so I ran up to the staircase in front of me, when suddenly steel shutters slammed down behind me, right on the middle step. So I ran on ahead along the corridor, and saw one of my teachers teaching a class in a classroom. Suddenly I was moving very slowly - my legs were running as fast as ever, but I wasn't going very fast at all. I eventually made it to a second staircase going down. Another of my teachers was there, and he said something to me I can't remember. Then I woke up.

I know this dream was a few days ago, but as I said, I haven't posted here until now. I've run out of time though, so I'll post the next dreams tomorrow.

I dreamt I was walking to school, only the road was the one I live on. I passed an exact replica of an area of my school, looking a bit out of place. On one of the steps there I found a small black lump of fur which turned out to be a cute little kitten. It purred as I picked it up. Then I passed a boy, about a year or so older than me, who apparently had fallen out of a tree. I helped him up. Then suddenly we were at the corresponding part at school. The boy said, "Thanks. Any time you need help, just strip naked and paint your whole body pink and I'll find you." I said something about preferring the colour purple. (I have no idea what that was about.) Then I put the kitten down, and went into the music room. I don't remember if anything happened inside, but when I came out I saw two of my teachers chatting to each other. The kitten was waiting for me, so I picked it up again. Suddenly I was in this huge rocky plain. There was a stone wall enclosing a large space, and several big rocky buildings inside. I still had the kitten, so I put it down and it scampered off. I went and searched for it. I eventually found it and picked it up again. It purred, then jumped off and ran away again. Somehow I found two people who were helping me find the kitten. I said "Not to worry, I'll just go and look it up in Doom Builder" (it's a level editor, for those who don't know). Then I alt-tabbed out (somehow), looked it up and found where the kitten was. I reported back to the other two that he was in a huge cave in the centre of the area. Then suddenly I was on top of the rocky wall, running and leaping across. That's all I remember of that dream.

Dream 2
I was riding in a train. At first it was a normal train ride, except without any stations, houses or any signs of cilivisation. In fact, the landscape was much like the rocky area described above. While the train was moving, I walked out onto a carriage that was half open. (By that I mean half of it was roofless and wallless, just a plain stone floor.) The other was the toilet building. I went inside and there were three girls casually using urinals. I went back out, and back into a carriage. Then the ride changed. The landscape was now brown and artificial, except still with no signs of people or houses or anything. I was also viewing it from the first-person perspective of the train. It was behaving like a rollercoaster, jumping the tracks and landing smoothly, doing sharp turns, etc. Then it changed again. There was no train any longer. I was riding along in a chute (not enclosed), still moving at high speeds. I was now with a group of other people as well. I can't remember exactly who they were but I think they were more of my friends from school. We were having a kind of race to get to some finish line first. The chute was also a bit like a rollercoaster, with long steep downhill slopes and vertical cliffs. At one point I shot over into thin air. I panicked, but landed smoothly and continued. At another point the landscape changed again, into Doom-like hell textures, and very tall platforms that I had to rjump up. There was no longer a chute, but I was still having some sort of race with the group. Then suddenly it was if I was actually playing Doom with some fancy weapons mod, against some boss. Then I woke up.
