I am one who has created two sperate dream Journals. <span style="color:green">The reason is that one is my personal journal and the other is specifically for the dream sharing experiment.
If we aquire more people for this experiment do you think this will pose the problem of clogging up the system?
If you think it will, I will run the idea in the Research Team and maybe we could either begin our own post of recorded journal entries that pertains to the research or put them in our own private journals.
I do thinking keeping them sepreate will help with the study. But I don't want to do it if it will cause any problems with this forum.

It is OK to keep a few dream journals as long as they serve a purpose, but as Lucius said, members shoud refrain from making multiple topics, one for each dream.

      dream journal etiquette

I am new in here, and I thought by creating a dream journal in my profile that it would simply allow me a place to log my dreams, and if someone looked at my profile it would give them the option of reading my dreams journal. But it looks like it throws them into a whole separate forum. I was thinking it would be sort of hidden unless you investigated my profile. Is this not the case?

      thanks

No, when you create a journal, whether from the Dream Journal forum or from your profile, it becomes a thread in the Dream Journal forum; also, you then get another little button at the bottom of every one of your posts, along with pm and any messenger services you have, that says "journal" and it gives a link to your journal.

There is a feature you can use if you wish to keep your entries private, however. Read the sticky about making dream journals in the Dream Journal forum, icedawg the admin outlined using one pretty thoroughly, I believe.

      Hope this helps!

I figure this is the place to ask...
I haven't posted in my journal in a few months. Should I just bump it and continue with it or make a new one?

bump it, it's actually better then creating a new one (in the dream journal section), since we dont want this place cluttered with mutiple journals from an individual.
