I just got a good kick out of the fact that Mine and RedRiverTears DJ Thread Names are almost exactly the same, but It's pure Coincidence. Honest!!!

Helloooooo.

First off, thanks for looking at my Dream Journal thread. You're now awesome if you wasn't already.

Second, its only small at the moment, and i'm just starting into lucid dreaming (at the time of this post ive had a DJ for around 4 - 5 days.) so my Dreams may only be short or few at the time being. Gotta start somewhere tho! :lol:


Ok, Dream 1, from my first night of DJ'ing, 28th of september, 2007. It is entitled;

BELTS

I'm in an amusement park, much like one of those cheesy film style space themed ones. (Reminded me of "Pizza Planet" out of Toy Story, only with Rides, and no pizza. :D ). There's a biggish spinning wheel ride, like a huge oddly shaped roundabout you'd find at a swingpark. It could probably have supported around 15 people. It was wonky when it turned and was suspended above ground by a large pyramid looking pillar (maybe about 20 feet tall). I'm with my friends Jack and Heather from college. As we get on the ride I notice that my seatbelt isn't quite working. It pulls about 'Half-waist' across and then doesn't provide any more slack. It seems the ride has already started, but I didn't feel any excitement or adrenaline, because I couldn't get the damned Belt on!!! :doh:

Now i don't remember waking up at that point, but suddenly I'm with my family at what I believed to be Thorpe Park. (It didn't look anything like it, for instance it was indoors and there was bright colours everywhere, but it was Thorpe Park in my dream.) Not paying attention to any signposts or written information, I tell the family that we should go on the "Nemesis" ride. :evil:
On the way to the ride, I see a large group of stereo-typical late night Essex girls (Long black/brunette hair, heavy make up, white and Red 'sleazy' looking clothing, high heels, the works. (Apologies to anyone who that description may refer to, no offence is intended if any is recieved. :oops: ) ). One was holding string trailing Red and White balloons behind her. They seemed disgusted at the mere thought that anyone other than themselves would be in the area. (again, no offence intended to any that may recieve offence.)

Before getting to "Nemesis" :evil:, Dad decides we should go on each ride in a clockwise order from start to finish round the park, (as he does. My dad likes to watch Films in chronological order if you get me, so i think this is why i Dreamed that.) and suggests that we begin at the water rapids ride (which, actually, is in the corner of the park, but..... whatever.) and we head back.

As we get to the entrance to the rapids, I remeber the Sign on the wall being different to what the ride was called in my head. I can't remember what it said, but I do remember just accepting it. (I know now that text is mufflyjubbly in dreams, and hope that in future when i see text, i double check it, as many of the tutorials urge to do.) After seeing the sign, me and my family are now on a wooden walkway (which isn't full of bright colours anymore, nor is it indoors.) walking towards a Log flume (Again, not what it should be).

Unaware at the time, I failed to realise that My older brother was no longer walking with us, infact I didn't know where he was! While walking, I remember thinking, and visualizing, how exactly you would stay in the 'Log', and imagined it would require belts that would strap across your thighs. But when I stopped picturing this and looked back at the walkway, I noticed a small girl following my younger brother and tugging his jumper. My mum said something like "oooh, she must like him". My brother just seemed nervous.

It was at that time, that I pulled Cocktail sticks from within my pockets, after feeling them in my trousers. They were covered in fluff and some sort of brownish sauce, I presume it's like BBQ sauce or something. I didn't see my Dad, but I knew he was there. My mum gave me a puzzled look, and I Ignorantly threw the sticks off of the walkway. I then saw the 'Log' and remembered the belt idea.

It was at that point the Dream ended.

My next few Nights, I didn't have much success at all with Dream Recall. For instance, Dream 2 is written down as "Old man walks down Garden Path" and Dream 3 is just "Everything seems hazy. An organiser comes to my door. ??? Music seemed to be playing, forget what music."

My Dreams that happend from the 30th september to the 1st October (I think) are alot more detailed. I had 3 and the third is a turnout from the couple of days without dreams. Now, I'll post one from my next Lot tomorrow maybe, but things are deffinately starting to get interesting. Its the 4th of October as I write this scentence and Last night, I had SIX Almost Fully Recalled Dreams. I'll explain the reason for this in my next post. Stay tuned!!!
