Record O' Dreams

I remember a couple dreams from last night, so I figured today would be a good day to start a journal.

I'll bite others techniques for dream journaling, and put all lucid dreams in blue text, and all dream signs in red text.

The dream starts with me sitting ontop of a train motoring down a track in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. it's daytime and nice weather.
I'm the only one on this train, it's even absent of a driver/conductor.
A T-rex dinosaur runs up alongside the train to eat me. I climb down a ladder on the opposite side of the train as the T-rex, and wait for him to leave. I go back to the roof and see it's gone.
Theres a huge tree up ahead and I notice another T-rex perched on a branch.
I don't think he'll be able to get me, so I stay where I am while the train approaches. When we zoom by the tree, the T-rex snaps at me but misses.
I laugh, until I see it leap out of the tree onto the train. It's now a few train cars behind me, and coming at me fast. I climb down to the side of train again, looking for somewhere to hide. It's snapping at me while I scale the side of the train. Suddenly the train bends a really tight turn, it takes all my strength to hold on against the centrifugal force. but I manage.

Next thing I know, i'm in a building that seems to be a museum dedicated to the wilderness outside. I'm being questioned by a lady with librarian glasses, and shes writing things down as I answer. I realize it's a job interview,
and the train ride i just took was a test. She asks me If I prefer the animals of the Greek Cambrian period, or the animals from the Jurrasic. I laugh and tell her I prefer the Cambrian period, because it wasn't home to huge reptiles that would eat me. My dad appears, and tells me that when he rode the train years ago, he was thrown off by a U-turn, and landed in a Lake.
The lady questioning me laughs, and sets a model train in action, that flips off the track when it comes to a U-turn. the dream ends.

Next, i'm in my dads Minivan, He's sitting shotgun with my uncle driving.
We're on the highway, and my uncle scrapes the side of the van against the concrete median. neither of them seem to notice or care. We arrive in the parking lot of a car wash. It's nightime, and snowing.
My dad is trying to tie something to roof of the car, and breaks a window in the process.
Him and my uncle decide where going to stay in this town for the next 3 weeks. I remember that we left my mom back where we came from,
and start cussing him and my uncle out, for not being upset about that fact.
They refuse to go back, and I yell "FUCK IT, I'll walk". but am hesitant to, because it's winter, and a long a walk.
I then notice a little boy trying to steal some pictures I was carrying with me.
I wrestle them from him, although he's suprisingly strong.
His mother walks up, and apologizes for the behavior of her son. she then descretly steals my pictures and gets into their car. I couldn't believe she would do that, and go after her. I climb into her car demanding the pictures.
She screams, pulls a gun, and lets off a single shot at me, missing, as I jump out of their car.

Gun fire erupts all over the parking lot. people who werent there a second ago, are now shooting at eachother. A cop car pulls up, and A police officer stands up thru the sunroof with a rifle. Before he can let a shot off, a black pickup truck zooms by, one of the passengers sticks a gun out of the window and kills the cop with an extremely loud gun, without the truck even slowing.

I'm standing in a car wash stall, and the lady who stole my pictures and shot at me walks in, still with the gun. shes screaming and pointing the gun at me.
I wrestle the gun from her, and fire a few shots into her chest and stomach.
She falls, although theres no blood, and the bullets appeared to do no damage. She screams, "help me live with the pain!", without thinking I fire off one more shot, saying "bang" as i pull the trigger. The dream ends....:shock:

I had at least three dreams last night. only remember tiny fragments, but after 3 or 4 days with no recal, i'll take what I can get...

I'm in some large national park area, but it looks and feels like a local forest.
theres one decent sized hill, and a large clearing.
I'm there with maybe 10 other people, were all dressed in khaki outfits, like Steve Erwin used to rock. Theres a herd of Lions in this same clearing with us.
Everyone is scared. people are hurt and bleeding from being attacked by the lions. I remember just trying to stay by other people and not get seperated.
I start cutting up a loaf of bread, and feeding it to a hurt man.
I ask him why these lions are so violent. he tells me, "They're skitzophrenic. This whole place is skitzophrenic". thats all I remember.


It's night time and I'm at an outdoor party. It's at the bottom of a pretty large hill in a feild, right next to a forest. theres a street and old victorian houses at the top of the the hill. Theres a freight train there, although no tracks. people are painting graffiti on the train, drinking, and getting high.
The cops show up and everyone runs. I run up the hill and start walking casually to not attract attention. thats allI remember.

I'm walking around downtown with my friend Issac. were cutting thru a lot of back allys and narrow pathways. we keep coming to little dips in the street covered with frost. and sliding down them while standing. people laugh at us, and cheer us on. Issac's gone. I'm in some clothing store.
Theres an incredibly attractive girl working who I recognize from magazine ad's (though I don't think shes a real person). I tell her I want to kiss her.
I do, then I grab her hand and kiss it while walking toward the exit of the store. we get there and she punches me in the head and laughs playfuly.
thats all I remember.

Im watching a famous actor driving along in his car. (can't remember the name of the actor) I cant remember what happened before, but I remember he did something fucked up, and people wanted to kill him for it. Suddenly 2 cars pull up and box him in, and start firing handguns into his car. hes shot about a dozen times. and sits there trying to draw in breath, making wheezing and gargling sounds. I watched this happen from just outside the passenger window in his car. but it was like I wasn't there. like I was watching a movie.

Bad recall last night. only remember tiny fragments.

I'm at some girls house who I knew in Highschool. Im kicking it with my old friends Jamie and Travis who I havent hung with in a long time.
We're in some back room by a huge bed, and they're laughing about the time
I had sex with some chick in the bed, and thats why it's tucked away in a back room. thats all I remember of the dream.

Im in a big warehouse with maybe 4 other people. we all have machine guns, and we're sweeping the warehouse looking for someone.
2 people walk in, and I yell for them to stop or we'll shoot. they keep walking towards, so we all start shooting at them. they keep walking towards us.
eventually I'm walking backwards infront of one of the guys, shooting him in the face. but i think the bullets are BBs. they bounce right off, he doesnt care at all. I stop shooting and ask him who he is. He tells me he has no name, and no destination. I get the feeling he's a robot, or an alien. something not human. he looks like Adam Sandler, and the other guy looks exactly the same. theyre both wearing the same red vest.

thats all I can recall for the moment. I keep getting breif flashes of other dreams, like theyre on the tip of my mind, but i can't quite remember them.
I'll edit them in when/if I do.

Wow at guns being a common theme in all dreams so far. I don't own a gun, nor wish to. I hate guns. I have a few theories of why theyre popping up though.

I'm outside in the parking lot of my neighborhood. I have a sniper rifle, and there's a plane flying over head.
For some reason im shooting at the plane. I hit it, and it turns around and starts swooping down towards me. I let off a couple more shots hoping to stop it before it gets to me. when that doesnt happen, I hid behind a dumpster. the plane swoops down, and then turns back towards the sky when its over top of me. the jet engines burn me up. I remember the air getting extremely heavy, and hot. I feel chared, and lay there on the ground. thats all i remember.

More F**king guns, man. every dream. If I can learn to recognize dreams signs while dreaming, it appears becoming lucid will be a sure shot everynight if this trend continues.

I'm in a van with my mom. shes driving, im riding shotgun and we're driving near what seemed to be my old elementary school. We're looking for a "flank" of soldiers. we come to some construction, and have the option to turn left or right. If we turn left, because of how the construction is laid out, we can't come back, and have to keep going down a road. I tell her to turn left, she does. Moms gone, vans gone, and I'm a prisoner of war, held captive by the 'flank' we were looking for a minute ago. everything is now medival.
The soldiers are carrying spears and axes, and wearing chainmail and metal helmets. Were being held in what amounts to a small barn, except made of drywall. it's actually a fairly modern building. other things out-of-time with the medival theme also. another prisoner, a girl, is wearing Nike shoes.
Thru the windows of this place, i see lots of rolling green hills. it's actually a pretty nice view. theres also other buildings peppered on the landscape.

Im one of maybe 11 prisoners. some look like theyre from the modern times, others look like they were extras in the movie Braveheart.
The gaurds come in, and start killing prisoners. they stab a man repeatedly with a spear, he falls and lays motionless. it got worse though. They take the girl in the Nikes, and put her head in a wooden vice. She keeps saying, "I'm not going to like this very much" with her head in the vice. They yank down a handle on the vice, and her head cracks open in several places. spilling a dark liquid, though not blood, and a cloudy water like liquid.
I wasn't horrified at any of this. The whole dream I was kind of detatched.
for instance, when they put the girls head in the vice, I remember looking at the cloudy white liquid and thinking, "thats were thoughts come from", and I took note of how her body was laying. but I had no feelings of extreme fear
or sadness. the thought of my head being in a vice next, never crossed my mind. The gaurds left.

Im looking at who I percived as the "leader" of the prisoners. hes wearing a metal helmet that leaves only his cheeks, mouth, and eyes exposed.
while looking at him, I hear a narrative voice say something about a plan he has already set in action, as if this whole thing is a play, or movie.

Someone points out the window and tells us the other flank is approaching. I look to see an army of men marching into the area, all in helmets and masks covering their face. some masks were shapped like dragons, others just elaborate designs. I then realize what the 'narrator' had been talking about.
our 'leader' had our soldiers dress like the enemy, and march to where they were holding us. When they got close enough, they drew their swords and started killing the guards. I immediately picked up two spears and went to work helping them. I plunged 2 spears into a mans stomach repeatedly, twisting them while i did. There was one enemy soldier left, he took off running, I gave chase, along with 20 other people. We got him down, and began telling him we were going to kill him.
This is the first time I remember feeling emotion in the dream. I felt a lot of anger towards this man. I wanted him to suffer like the girl in the nikes, or the man who ate spears before her. I put the tip of my spear in his ear, and asked him if he could feel it. When I did this I felt it too, I could feel the metal of the spear scraping around my inner ear. I then plunged the spear forward, careful not kill him, because i wanted him to suffer. he screamed, and I saw blood start coming from his ear. The others started stabbing him, and I woke up.

what a fucking crazy dream. Why didnt I feel any emotion while watching people get killed? It seems like this dream lasted a long time. It was the dream I was having when I woke up after sleeping for 10 hours, so I was experiencing the most REM sleep of the night, but even considering that, it felt long.

lmao, people are going to read thru my dream journal and think im a violent and crazy person. theres a trend of violence and death in my recorded dreams. that should inspire me to do an RC, since I dont see people getting killed, and im not killing people in real life. but no. Ive never done an RC in a dream, still havent been lucid.

After typing the above dream, I went to reading other things on the board.
and read something about a stripper, that brought another dream flooding back, that was lucid.(!!) I don't remember how i became lucid or what happened first...

I'm standing on the front step of my apartment. it's day time. I dont remember becoming lucid. I see some people standing outside of their apartment across the grass, and decide to fly over to them, to tell them I was dreaming. I leaped into the air, but didnt 'officialy' fly. more like floated a good distance from the jump. If i closed my eyes for a moment and concentrated, and i could prolong the floating into what seemed more like flying, but not quite. I don't remember thinking about how cool it was to be flying, which leads me to believe i wasnt very high on the lucidity scale.
I land by them just as theyre going inside. one girl is still outside though, who happens to be pretty attractive.
I walk up to her and tell her I'm dreaming. she smiles. and i say, "so..you wanna go have sex then, or what?" she smiles again. and we start walking to the side of the building. were looking for a descreet spot, then I remember this is all a dream, and we don't need a discreet spot. I tell her this, and shes cool with it. I'll spare folks the details, but we did the deed.
I remember feeling the dream fade slightly, and bringing it back a little by concentrating on little things, but eventually, It ended.

word up. Third lucid dream of my life, (that I remember), first since joining the board. the last one was months, and months ago.
looking forward to more, now that I broke the ice with the first one. even if I did just use it for sex. heh.

Saw an atmosphere show last night. Had a dream that I was back at the concert, they were performing the same set again, and i stuck around to watch it. slug wasn't rocking a pedophile mustache like he was in real life.

Im sitting in my kitchen with a gun. dont think it was loaded. im aiming at stuff and pulling the trigger. was thinking about the movie Collateral while doing it.

im a lego man, watching myself from 3rd person POV walking around a little lego building.
remember almost nothing about the dream except that image. need to get my recall going. its lacking severly at the moment.

Lego dreams would be so great! That's awesome that you were a lego man.

:chuckle: Don't worry about that (what people think.) I think everyone here knows you can't judge people by their dreams, at least I hope so because I wouldn't want to be judged by mine either :)! Maybe the violent ones are just extra-vivid, so you can remember those better. It does seem to be a good dream-sign for you; hopefully you can make use of that.

That is so cool when that happens--I've done that before, then I realize that if I wasn't trying to practice recall, I would have forgotten a lucid forever.

went to sleep at around 2am. my friend came by around 8:30 and woke me up, i talked to him for a minute, and when he left I went back to sleep. (spent maybe 5 minutes talking to him). I was thinking about lucid dreaming when I went back to sleep, and had my longest and most vivid lucid to date...

I'm in a hotel in NewYork. I can see the skyline from my window.
My mom, sister, and nephew are staying in a different room.
my friend (the one who woke me up) is there. He tells me he saw 8 sticks of dynamite in the basement of the hotel, and he needs to tell someone.
He then grabs a video camera and heads for the basement to film them.
People start gathering in the halls of the hotel, and the lights begin to flicker on and off. I realize he wasnt lying about the dynamite, and start running for the stairs. I remember my family is in another room, and turn around to go get them. I run up to my mom and tell her whats going on, she doesnt belive me. I can feel the whole building swaying slightly, so I grab her by the shoulders and shake her, look her straight in the eyes and say "mom, I think this is real". She falls to the ground crying. and then I questioned it. "wtf am i doing in Manhatten?". started walking towards a balcony and did an RC. plugged my nose. breathing. I walked out onto the balcony of this hotel. we were probably 30 stories up, and im scared of heights. i jump into the air and floated, just to be sure if dreming. I then saw my friend leap off the balcony, and figured fuck it... I leaped off after him. started half flying and half falling. I landed on a smaller balcony maybe 4o feet off the ground. there was a metal ring hanging from a rope. (no idea what the rope was attached to. looked like it came from the sky). I grabbed it and started swinging spider man style. Was swinging fast, far, and really high. shit was fun.
Let go of that and landed on the ground. I was outside, its daytime and im in a park. theres a lot of people walking around. I walk up to one girl and tell her were dreaming, to which she replies, "i dont give a fuck about that shit". New Yorkers eh? I laugh and keep walking. I decide to go see an ex girlfriend from back in the day. I walk in to an area that has a lot of small cottages. I pick one and decide she'll be in there, I walk in and say her name, and she stands up and comes over to me happy to see me. old friends from that same time in my life are there too. One of the guys is missing an arm and his face is disfigured. I realize he just returned from Iraq, and was in a humvy that rolled over an IED. even though i know for a fact he didnt go to iraq IRL. My ex girl has a TON of speakers and mixers in her cottage. she takes me around showing them to me. I felt the dream slip a little bit, and started concentrating on the detail of things. and wow, shit was life like. there was this old rusted pipe running down from the ceiling. I look closely at it, and feel the the texture of it. I remember being suprised at how real it was. I leave the cottage and decide to try and fly. and I cant very well. more like hover while moving slowly. I tried holding my arms in front of me superman style, but to no avail. i try to will myself to fly higher and faster. nothing. I take to foot agin. and end up in a small bar. Im talking to some girl at the bar, when I wake up.


this shit was awesome. had to contain a small rush of excitement when I did the nose RC. I know im missing part of the lucid, but oh well. It felt somewhat long, so I cant recall all details.

Also, I think this might have been a WILD. because i can remember laying on the bed in the manhatten hotel room in the same possition I was laying in real life when I went back to bed, and I see the reflection of the manhatten skyline on the wall, which was plaster, same as the walls in my apartment. The sun was coming up, and I decide to wake up and go watch the sunrise, since its not everyday I get the chance to watch the sunrise in manhatten. I didnt include that in the above lucid though, because I didnt know I was dreaming at that point, and I dont have any memory of a transition from waking life to dreaming. so im hesitant to call it a WILD. it was cool as shit eitherway though.

another dream from last night. This was before the lucid, but I typed up the lucid first because I wanted to recall as much as possible.

Its night time and winter. Im on the North Side of my city walking home.
Im walking by the bank, enjoyng the snow and calming effect it brings. everythings calm and silent. I get to my apartment and my dads there. theres someone els there I cant recall, and they tell me theres a huge anti-war protest taking place in my city. I go looking for the protest to join it.
Never make it though, end up in the basement of some huge factory that has conveyor belts running everywhere. Im sitting on them being zipped around. Im actually enjoying this. theres another guy riding them, who seems to take the roll of "guide". (not dream guide. but guide as if these conveyor belts where some kind of corperate safari). theres also a little kid riding them.
I see a little of myself in this kid, although I dont know why. he keeps falling of the conveyor belt and getting scared, each time i reach down and pull him back up onto the conveyor belts. thats all I remember.

lol, nah, im not really worried people will think im crazy.
I remember once being asked the question, "if you could watch your dreams on TV after waking up, but your family and friends had to be their watching them with you, would you watch them?". I was the only one in the group who answered yes. everyones els was worried they'd be embarrased.

yeah, it was great to suddenly remember that lucid. was my first one ine maybe 6 months too. so i was that much happier upon suddenly remembering it.

haha @ the last bit. I completely agree. just had to give it a go in my first lucid since trying to have them.

First WILD....

I woke up this morning, and tried to recall my dreams right away, I could recall only fragments of the last dream i had. I thought about getting out of bed to go type them up, but was still really tired. then I thought about how i didnt want to sleep in late like i did yesterday. somewhere in the midst of thinking about these two things, I started to drift back to sleep. First it felt like my body was "jumping", like someone was standing under my mattress and pushing it up, then letting it go. I had my eyes open, (I think, unless I was already dreaming at this point and didnt know it, dont think i was though). I was looking at the ceiling, when it started to 'breath'. each time it expanded it got closer and closer, pretty fast. I thought it might smash into me, but chilled. then it stopped, but still seemed really close. I remembered reading about how this happened to TwoShadows, and how she reached out and touched it. I tried and sure enough, I touched the ceiling.
I stood up out of bed and did a nose RC. breathing. (I love the feeling of that). I thought about throwing on some clothes, since i was in only my boxers. but figured fuck it, this is all in my head right? I went into the upstairs hallway. everything was a little out of focus and blurry. i got down on my hands and knees to look at, and feel the texture of the carpet, hoping that would bring some clarity. it did, but not a whole heaping amount of it. I looked at my hands, and some of my fingers were really short and stubby. others were skinny and longer than normal. they looked a little like monkey hands. I walked downstairs, my dad was sleeping sitting up on the couch. There was a Violin next to him. I walked into the kitchen and theres more violins. I figure they must belong to the community center in my neighborhood. I pick one up and out of a case with blue velvet interior, and pluck the strings, thinking about how i played violin for 2 years in elementary school. the strings were all loose and out of tune. I put it back in it's case and decided to go outside. I started to walk towards the door, when I woke up. I did the nose RC to make sure it wasn't an FA. no dice, i was awake.

This was cool though, man. I've attempted WILDS at least three times with no luck. I usually end up laying there for an hour or more, with a whole bunch of weird physical sensations, but no dreaming. eventually get frustrated and just go to sleep. today it happened fast. I was in a lucid in minutes.
The last lucid dream I had was with WBTB DILD. although even with that I thought a WILD was part of it, but couldnt be sure. basicaly, I need to start doing WBTBs. both lucids came from them, both times waking up and going back to sleep wasn't intentional. so, i'll start WBTBs often. I think it'll have good results for me.

Im walking through dense woods at night, with maybe 6 other people. some I know, some I don't. I spot a bear with my flashlight, snd tell everyone to stop, don't run, and walk backwards very slowly. they do, i keep my eye on the bear and walk backwards. next thing i know where walking back down the trail, but this time i'm riding a giraff. I feel like the elevation will keep me safe. we arrive at a really steep dropoff. i suddenly think the giraff won't be able to make it down the hill. hes running towards it with some good speed. I hop off at the ast second. then I see the bear again, and start trying to run.
then I woke up.

can't recall the other ones, i'll have to edit them in if I do.

Congratulations; those are so hard (for me anyway.) I don't like WBTB, maybe that's why. I usually just fall asleep, but sometimes the failure will result in a DILD, so it's OK. I'm finding out that WILD's are better for high-level lucids tho.

yeah, im not a fan of WBTBs either, both of them were unintentional, but they seem to help a lot in becoming lucid, so i'll give them a shot for a while.
and yeah, i figured WILDs werent for me, but i wasnt even trying when that one happened, i just noticed it was happening, and continued to let it.

another WBTB WILD.

Woke up this morning, and decided not to get out of bed, instead i wanted to see if i could WILD. within 10 minutes I was lucid. WILDing this way works perfect for me.

I was laying in bed, and just let my thoughts wander. I was thinking of sitting in a car, slowly I was sitting in a car. I knew I was dreaming, but couldn't see anything, like I couldnt open my eyes, not sure how I got over that hurdle, but Im looking thru the windsheild of a red sports car, in the parking lot of my neighborhood. Its day time and nice weather. Im pretty uncomfortable in this car. I think I may have been laying uncomfortably and that was somehow transfering to my dream. wasn't waking me up though, So i didn't pay it much attention. I back out and start driving, i drive up onto a highway and floor it. musta been doing over 100 mph, passing all cars on the road. I remembered how I never said outloud "im dreaming" in my other dreams, and wondered if they lacked clarity becaue of it. Seeing how I'm doing a hundred miles an hour, I had a little adrenaline and just screamed "Im dreaming!!" this did focus everything a little more. I've found myself on a country road. theres a lot of small hills, and forested areas around. I see a group of people in a field byu the road talking, and mash the breaks and turn the car hard, drift into the feild and come to a stop. I get out and notice a really fly girl, without even saying anything to her, She asks the other DCs shes with, if she can step away for a second. She walks over to me, its my ex, we walk away from the group, in so many words, i tell her we should fuck, she asks if it could wait until later, because she has stuff to do with the group she was with. I say, "why? this is a dream". Her face lights up and she says, "well shit, you want to do it then?". BANG, the dream goes to black, I chill myself out, and bring it back, i was suprised at how well this worked, I was in exactly the same place with the same person. I decide to give lucid sex one more shot with her, as soon as I get her pants off, BANG, dreams black again. again I'm able to bring it back. I learn my lesson this time, and leave. Im back in the car driving. theres some chick I dont know riding along. although she disapears quickly. I find myself at some warehous at night. I think about stuff to do with the lucidity I have left, I think about riding a weather ballon into the sky and jumping off, or, given the shady warehouse surrounding I find myself in, maybe a gunfight. just then I see a guy outside working. He asks me what im doing here, i tell him im looking for someone. Then another guy walks out, this one carrying a big wrench. he starts walking towards me talking shit. and I think "ohhh shit" lucid fighting. nice, imma whip the shit outta these guys. wrong.
I went into that reall wack dream fighting mode. were all your punches are slow and akward. somewhere in the midst of wrestling the wrench from this guys hands, I lost lucidity. The dream kept going for a minute, and got weird. like, my friend showing up, and tlelling me the stats of the people I was fighting. I saw small clips from other fights of theirs etc.. then I woke up.

this lucid was lacking a little in the control department, but it was pretty vivid, more vivid than the others I'd say. and seemed to last a good chunk of time.

tried another WBTB WILD this morning, no wild, but a lucid...

I'm driving in an old blue car. Im on a residential street, and see a police blockade up ahead. doesnt make me nervous, but i start driving really terribly by accident. Im trying to take off my jacket while driving towards the blockade. It feels like I can't quite reach the break pedal, and when I do, it won't go down very far, so its impossible to stop. I hop the curb and go around the blockade. I realize theyre going to pull me over for this, but still can't stop the car. a few minutes later, i finally get it stopped. a female police officer walks up to the window and asks me why I ran the blockade, in an angry voice. I reply, "youre probably not going to believe me, but I was lucid dreaming while driving, so i couldnt stop the car". lol, i wasnt even lucid at that point. she walks back to her car to do something. i feel the car starting forward, and in a flash, im back in my neighborhood. I see the car i was just driving parked. Im walking back to my apartment cursing myself out for running from the police. I know they have my plate numbers.
Then I start thinking about how I have no memory of going from being stopped by the cop, to now being home. I look at my hands, theyre all messed up. I have four little stubby triangular shapped fingers on each hand.
I start laughing with the relife of not being in legal trouble anymore.
I stop walking towards my apartment, and turn around and yell, "raaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrghhhhhh" for the hell of it. I see a chick walking by, i go talk to her. in no time flat were having sex on the sidewalk.
I wake up a few minutes later, and theres 2 girls in my bed. then I wake up foreal..

man, I'm happy im having so many lucids, but they all seem to end up with sex. which obviously isnt the worst thing that can happen. but its like my lucid mind has trouble thinking of other things. as soon as i realise im dreaming, i see a hot chick and just instinctively go grab her titties.
i'd like to fly, talk to my reflection etc... but I can never remember to do the shit im actually interested in doing in lucids. need to work on control.

I'm in some kind of car race. theres like 15 cars in the running, and no prize for winning. lil' Bow Wow is the driver of another car. I walk up to his car before the race, and tell him he's wack as shit, and i'm going to beat him because he sucks. The race starts and I speed off ahead of everyone. Im watching it from 3rd person POV. My friend James is driving a robotic Dinosaur in the race, which wasn't out of place at the time. The whole dream was kind of cartoony, Like it's playing out with videogame graphics.
I end up wrecking my car, I steal some other guys car to continue the race. His car is slow and has close to no visibilty, everything looks even more videogame-esque in this car.

I don't remember the race ending, but the robotic dinosaur my friend was driving becomes the center of the dream. it's like a videogame, you have to ride around on thsi robot, making it eat police cars and army tanks. I play the game once, and then watch my friend play. the dream ends.

I'm in some huge hotel standing in an elevator thats zipping to the top, fast.
Theres an elevator attendant, dressed like its the 1930's. theres maybe 4 other people in the elevator. The elevator is getting more and more unstable. It starts to rock almost uncontrolably. The doors slide open and more people dressed like its the 30's pile in. I realize this will probably put us over the weight limit since it's already shaking so much. I notice were on the 114th floor. I push past everyone piling on and get off. The whole hotel is like a haunted house. each room has its own "badguy". I see some little girl whos obviously frightened. SO i pick her up and take her to her room, and try to get her to relax and go to sleep. Someone who knows this little girl comes in, and takes her off my hands. I leave and walk into another room. theres a big bed with the headboard against a wall. I walk up to the bed, and a pair of arms spring out of the mattress and grab my wrists, trying to pull me into the mattress. I pull back, trying to pull this thing out of the mattress, thinking i'd have a better chance in winning the fight. I pull as hard as I can, and the head and Torso of this thing come out of the mattress. Its a weird looking guy/thing with long arms, and its wearing a weird helmet. Reminded me a little of the Prymid Head guy from Silient hill. His eyes and mouth are exposed.
I get my hands free, and he grabs my friend whos now in the room. I see a skateboard and grab. I start swinging for the fences trying to cave this things face in. Im hitting it in the teeth with the skateboard wheels as hard as i possibly can, and it doesnt seem to notice. another friend of mine walks in and grabs a skateboard too. were both standing there wailing on this things face with skateboards, but it doesnt let go. the dream ends.

I wasn't scared at any time in that last dream though. almost like i knew what was going to happen, like it was all staged, or it was a themepark attraction where i know the dangers not real. maybe i half knew it was all a dream.

I'm on aim talking to brooke, Shes telling me about how her boyfriend took her parachuting. After she tells me about it, I turn on the TV, and its footage of her parachuting with her boyfriend and another girl. they were bass jumping from some big red 'platform', it didnt look anything like something that would occur in nature, but in the dream it was and didn't seem out of place at all.

thats the only dream I remember from the night.

been slacking on the recall, but had a looong dream today. So im hopping back on the DJ wagon.

I'm in some foreign country, I think it's Mexico CIty, Mexico.
I'm walking with my mom and sister Sarah. SUddenly im alone, and have a parachute on my back. Im in an air baloon basket. Standing in the basket I float off a big hill. Im gliding along waiting for a good place to jump out, but im not high enough. I think If I jump out, i'll just break my legs before the parachute opens. I stay in the basket, and it eventually touches down and slides through a feild.
It pissed me off, because I wanted to sky dive. I see a bigger hill and decide to go to the top of it, and try again. Im walking thru a building to get up to the hill, it's an airport, except theres no planes or runways, nothing airport like about it, but in the dream I knew it was an airport.
While im walking thru, to girls walk up to be and tell me to come with them.
They tell me to go stand on the X. I don't see an X, but they tell me to keep walking thru these halls until I find one. I eventually do. Its an X shaped design in the tile floor of the building. They ask me to take off my backpack.
I realise they think I might be carrying a bomb, and are going to search it.
I tell them it's my parachute. One of the girls takes out a knife and starts cutting open the backpack. I scream and cuss her out, saying shes cutting up my parachute and now I can't use it. She eventually figures out im telling the truth. Im so pissed off, im shaking, I really wanted to use that parachute.
I start giving a passionate speech about trust saying things like,
"Nobody trusts anyone anymore. We forget were so similar. Our views of others are decided by advertisers and politicians. But thats the nature of the beast, we're the victims, and aggresors to eachother. we only hurt ourselves". The girl seems struck by my speech, her eyes water up, and she nods and agrees with me.

I leave the airport, and go walking thru the city. I see my mom and sister again walking towards me. They tell me the police and going crazy. I say "yeah, I was just detained at the airport".
Suddenly the whole aura of the place gets strange. People are scared and running. Police sirens are blaring from every direction. Were in a big "village square" type of place, theres a large fountain. A red sports car crashes on the street, and then starts flooring it, and driving towards the fountain.
I realise what all the commotion and fear is about, this red sports car, is actually a car bomb. we're in the middle of a terrorist attack.
We crouch by the fountain, and my mom lays on top of me to sheild me from the blast. I think about pushing her off and covering her, but I realize it won't matter. we're all going to die. I close my eyes and lay there still and silent, trying to detatch myself from the situation. The car explodes.

The next thing I know, Im in a factory building. Still in mexico city.
Im there with maybe 6 other people, we all have guns. Were going to kill the people who set off the car bomb. My friend brandon is one of these people.
Hes rocking blue sweat pants, a white T-shirt, and holding a machine gun.
We leave the warehouse and start walking back towards the town square with the fountain. While walking there, I take out a cigarette to light it, ut drop it. Brandon picks it, and tosses it to another guy, theyre tossing it back and forth messing with me. I find it amusing. We start freestyling while walking, the moods really playful and chill, even though were all holding weapons and going to fight, kill, and die.

We get to the town square, and were seen by the people were there to kill right off the bat, one of the guys in the group shouts, "Fuck! they see us already!". Everyone takes cover, us and them. Were on a standoff, waiting for someone to shoot. I have an uzzi, other people have big machine guns, and a few people have grenade launchers. Those three guns are consistent, like its a video game and those are the only three weapons available.
My friend brandon goes and gets a better machine gun, and walks back to his cover pointing it at out enemies, without them shooting.
Then it happened, some guy on the other side with a machine gun, open fires.
We all start shooting. It sounds like the Scene from "HEAT", were they get into a huge gun fight coming out of the bank.
I notice Al Pacino is one of the bad guys. Hes wearing a baby blue suit. like something out of the 70s. The woman who played his sister in Scarface is also there.
As soon as the shooting starts, im scared. The machine guns are ferocious. I keep thinking about how devastating it would be to get hit with a round from one of them. I pop out of my cover, and am met with a hail of gun fire. nothing hits me, and I jump back in cover. I see pacinos sister behind me about to shoot someone els, I spin around and shoot her in the chest with the uzzi im carrying. she drops.

I pick up a grenade launcher, and run out into the open, and fire a grenade at Pacino. It explodes behind him, knocking him forward, just as I fire another one he falls off the higher platform he was standing on. The second grenade I fired end up in his suit jacket's pocket. He hits the ground back-first, and as soon as he does the grenade went off, making it look like his chest and stomach exploded. (what was weird about this, is as he was falling I counciously thought, "when he hits the ground the grenade with explode". and a second later that exact thing happened. maybe I excersised a little control without being lucid).

We've killed everyone on the other side, and start to run back to the warehouse, as police sirens are blaring again from everywhere.
I run up a hill, towards the warehouse, thinking about how, even if we get away here, they'll find us. Then I think that maybe because this is Mexico City, this type of stuff happens, and they never really mount the forces neccesary to find the people. As soon as I reach the warehouse, a police car screeches to a stop in front of me, I jump onto the hood of the car, hopping over it. A female police officer gets out, I think shes going to grab me, but instead she lets me go by, even stoping the driver of the cop car from getting out. I run into the warehouse, the female cop and the driver are now tight on my tail. The driver is wearing a SWAT suit, and has a machine gun.
I turn a corner, and a man in another baby blue suit, like pacino had on, Is holding everyone I was with at bay, with a machine gun. theyre all stanidng there with their hands up. As soon as I see this, I dive behind a row of folding chairs, hopong he won't see me. The femal cop runs in, and stops and puts her hands up, the driver cop in the SWAT, turn around and tries to run away. the guy screams for him to freeze, he does. then he tellss me stand up and show myself. I do.

Then I'm back in my bed, feeling ligh SP and vibrations, thinking "finaly, a WILD is coming". Then I realize I was just dreaming, and am now in bed waking up. and I did, stayed up after that.

This was an intense dream. felt a range of emotions, from fear and anxiety to happiness and peace. everything was consistent too. The dream felt looong, yet the scenes were all the same, I had memories of what happened earlier in the dream etc... and it was really life like. Im almost happy I didn't become lucid during this dream. I would have just flown off, and wouldnt have had a chance to experiance all the "plot twists" that happened.

I thought it sounded good! At least it wasn't one of those things that seem so profound at the time, but then make absolutely no sense whatsoever later.

I'm in my neighborhood at night, with Kempal and one other guy.
We have some cans of paint, and were bombing a building. I'm doing some handstyles on the ground right infront of the building. I was thinking about how when the building burns down, these handstyles and throw-ups will still be here. not sure why we were planning to burn the building down.

2 other guys walk up, and kempal says "oh shit, we're yall here before us painting?", one of the guys says something back to him, and then pulls a gun and shoots him once in the head, he drops. I spray him in the eyes with my can of paint, and take off running. He doesn't try to shoot me, he and the other guy both took off running too.

I'm running down the sidewalk as fast as I possible can. I remember thinking in the dream "shit, i can't remember the last time i ran this fast."
I was motoring. I get to the edge of my nrighborhood. Theres a bunch of guys in a feild chilling and talking loudly. One of them is John.
They saw me running towards them and were all laughing a little about it.
(im a big dude). I laugh with them. I walk up to John to tell him about what just happened. Then I remember John is Kempals cousin, and realize i have to break the news about kempal being dead.

I call John over, and tell him I need to talk to him, he seems pretty disinterested, and starts to walk off, so I blurt it out, "Kempals dead, man".
John doesn't stop walking. I ask him if he heard me, and he turns around and says, "yeah, so, thats between me and my mom".
This made no sense to me. couldn't understand why the news wasn't a big deal to him, and what his mom could possibly have to do with any of this.
I turn and start walking back to my apartment, trying ot figure out his reaction. I thought maybe he thought I said HE was dead, and his mom knew. which made me think about how weird the whole situation was.
then I thought, this would all make sense, if I was dreaming. did the nose RC to maker sure. breathing.

Off the bat, I noticed that this was the most vivid lucid I've had to date. looked incredibly life like. I actually looked at sky (it was now late afternoon instead of night) through some trees, and stopped in my tracks, saying 'holly shit, man" out loud. couldn't believe it was that real. I decided to try to stabalize it more. I walked up to a tree and felt the bark, it was softer than it should have been. Noticed my hands were all messed up while doing this.

I start walking again, and decide to fly. I remember that I've had trouble with flying in the past, but this time, the dream was so vivid, and I was so in-tune with the fact that I was dreaming, i didnt think it would be a problem. There was a wooden fence up ahead, with some kids playing by it. I decide to run, jump and fly over the fence. I take off running, right as I'm appraoching the fence I yell out to the kids "Hey, watch this", they both look up, and I do a double frontflip over the fence, landing in a sitting down possition. I hear the little boy say "whaaaaaaoo". The little girl wasn't as impressed. she busted out a kartwheel, claiming her skills to be better than mine. I fired back with some weird spinning kick thing.
The dream suddenly shifted to a youtube video of her explaining why her magic flipping was better than mine. and I woke up.

something weird happened again with this dream, same as with the one above this. In the dream above this, when the grenade went into Pacinos pocket, I KNEW it would explode as soon as he hit the ground. In this dream, I KNEW kempal was going to get shot in the head. I wasnt lucid during the last dream, and wasnt lucid yet during this dream. but both times knew what was going to happen next. not sure why this happens. maybe I was on the verge of lucidity both times, and exerted some control.

Had the coolest, longest lucid yet last night. I fell a sleep at around 6pm, and woke up really tired at 7pm, and went to a movie. got home around midnight, and went back to sleep. when I woke up from the lucid, it was 2:30am, and I didnt record it, so I know i'm missing a lot of details. oh well though.

I'm in a big hotel room. my dads there, both of my sisters, and like 5 other people, including 3 girls I went to highschool with. Everyones deciding were theyre going to sleep. theres an attatched room, that nobody wants, so I voulunteer to take it. I walk into it, and its huge, with a full kitchen, big TV, ps2, all kinds of stuff. I get tired and decide to go to sleep. I lay in the bed (not lucid yet) and try a WILD. it works. (first time having a lucid inside a regular dream). I do the nose RC. breathing. really vivid and clear. I walk out of the room, still in the same hotel. I run and try to do a backflip while moving forward, i do, but its ugly, lol. the 3 girls I went to highschool with are having a 3some on their bed. I decide not to join, because I don't want to waste this LD. I do makeout with one of the girls though, because Ive never kissed a girl in a lucid. felt very real.
I walk into the bathroom and look in the mirror, I look like myself, but slightly different. cant put my finger on whats different though. I walk out of the bathroom, and for the first time while lucid, remember something I wanted to do. I walk back into the bathroom, and try to pull my reflection out of the mirror.

I try to just reach thru, but the mirror is solid. I punch it one time, hard. It breaks apart, and now my reflection is standing in blackness. I reach thru and grab it by its hoodie, and pull it out. Im now standing there looking myself right in the eyes. My reflection seemed a little suprised at this, but also found it kind of funny. I ask it why we dream. I can't remember the answer at all, but I know there was a little laughter involved. I remember reading about people on here, who went thru the mirror, and decide to try it. I look thru the broken mirror. It's over looking a desert, from a high point of view. IM looking town on this little town in the desert, and theres police lights flashing all thru the town. I ask my reflection what that place is, and why the cops are there. again, I don't remember the exact answer, but it had something to do with drugs, and the police were arresting people.

I try to talk to my reflection more. some guy walks up out of nowhere, and for no apperant reason, I punch him straight in the nose hard. it knocks him out cold, and bloods coming from his nose. I look down at him, and feel guilty. I decide right then and there, that hurting DCs isn't something I'll incorperate into my LDs from here on out. felt bad about it.

not sure what happened next exactly, but i worked my way outside and am now riding in my friend Jasons car. es driving and were talking about everyday stuff. I tell him, "you know im in a lucid dream, right?" he nods and laughs a little. Were going to some huge store. it's on our left and were at a red light. I tell him to just drive over the medium in the road, and thru the feild, because its a dream. he does, and we arrive at the store. I go inside alone. it's a huge store, with tons of people, and the shelves are maybe 12 feet tall. I decide to fly. I climb up one of the shelves, and dive off. for the first time in an LD, i'm officaly flying. I can go up down, any direction. I try to fly faster, and find if I try to push my feet against some invisible barrier behind them, it makes me go faster. Im zipping around this huge store in the air.

I fly outside. and decide to fly straight up. I have a breif flash of fear, because I'm scared of heights, but relax quickly, knowing its a dream. I'm flying superman style, and to fly up, i only have to point my arms towards the sky. I start gaining height quickly. it looks like the landscape has to load. like, the ground further away, is pixilated, but quickly loads into detail.
I get maybe 50 feet in the air, and can't go any higher. black words suddenly apear in the sky, saying something like, "ceiling reached, flying over". and I fell slowly back to the ground. I was suprised at this, it was so weird, looked like a videogame. I laughed pretty hard at this in the dream.

not sure exactly what happened next, but i'm running from the police, they try to corner me, and do. I try to hop a barbed wire fence, and get tangles in the wire. This is the first time I've ever felt pain in a lucid. the razor wire was cutting me, and that shit hurt. it also felt like it was electrocuting me a little. I deciding since it was a dream, and i wasnt actually being hurt, i wouldnt spend the time to untangle myself, but just keep running from the police. then the barbed wire wasnt there at all. I was thinking of how to get away from the cops. i couldnt fly anymore. I saw a car coming up the road, and as it zoomed passed, i grabed on, and was now holding on thru an open window with my legs behind the car. the car was flying. the cops in pursuit. Theres traffic on the other side of the road, so I bring my legs to the side of the car, and give a passing car a hard kick with both legs, it makes the car crash infront of the police. and I make my get away.

I wake up in bed, am pretty sure it's an FA. sure enough, a nose RC proves it.
Im still in that same hotel, the one I went to sleep in and had the above WILD. I get out of bed again, and see a chick in the room. I have sex with her, and wake up during it.

I know i'm leaving out a lot of stuff from this dream. it was really long, and it marked some firsts. it was the first time I ever felt pain in a dream, and the first time I was ever aware enough to remember things I decided I wanted to do in waking life. I wish I would have recorded it whren I woke up in the middle of night, but i was just to tired to get out of bed and do it.

some fragments from last night...

1. I'm in my room with some asian girl, eating her out. It seems like this isn't the first time I've been here in this situation with this girl.

2. Im in some state park kind of place with my family. Theres big rock walls, and trails leading around. theres more of this dream on the tip of my tongue, but i can't quite remember what I was doing there and what happened. I'll post more if it comes back to me.

been slacking again...

Im with my ex-girlfriend Kelsey. We're walking through a city that doesn't look like the one I live in, and talking about a class we have later that night.
Everythings really dark, it's hard to see. We get to my apartment, and I invite her in. My apartment is really messy, but I have a ton of studio equipment and big movie lights in the living room. I show her my Moog synth, which in the dream was about 5 times as big, and had tons more knobs and buttons. She starts playing it, and gets a really dope melody going. I pick up a guitar and start trying to play along, but don't know how to play guitar, and its sounding shitty. We're about to head to class, and I ask her if she saved the melody she was playing. she did. Next thing I know, I'm in my bed waking up. I realized when she left, and went to sleep, and am now running late for class. I jump up, and realize im completely naked, except for wearing one shoe. I walk to the bathroom to piss before leaving. I shut the bathroom door, and suddenly think it's pretty weird im naked, as I almost never sleep naked. I do an RC for the hell of it, thinking it's not going to work, but it does.
"doooope" i say outloud when I realize im lucid. I decide to go fly off my balcony. Theres a naked girl laying in another bed in my apartment. I realize it's another of my ex-girlfriends, Megan.
I walk up to her and spread her legs. she smiles at me, and I wake up.

It's daytime and im walking around near my neighborhood. Im at a strip mall with a big grocery store. One of my friends tells me this chick Emily wan'ts to do something with me. I see Emily, and realize it's the emily I used to go to school with. I ask what she wants to do. shes says she wants to have sex.
I tell her im down with that, and we alk into the gorcery store together. Somewhere in the store we get seperated and I forgot I was even talking to her. I can't remember anything els that happened in this dream, but I know I was in that grocery store the whole time. and I think I got into a big arguments with the store employees, but I cant remember what it was about.

I had a lucid last night, that must have lasted 20 minutes. My nephwe woke me from it, and made me come hang out with him, so i didn't journal. just goin gto post the little pieces I remember now, almost 12 hours later.

I don't remember how I became lucid, what triggered it, or what happened before it.
I'm in a huuuge building, with lots of different wngs and floors.

One of the rooms I was in looked like a college classrom, with seats stretching back in rows, each a one 'step' above the row in front of it. Theres a lot of people in this room, I think they were waiting to buy food in there for some reason. Im lucid at this point, and decide to just make weird noises loudly infront of people and act weird to see what happens. I start making loud soundeffects and yelling. I remember thinking about how it was cool to hear my voice in a dream. a few people shoot me weird looks, most people don't seem to notice or care at all. One guy standing next to me laughs though, and says "you're cool man, people like you should be the popular people." He holds out his hand for a high five, and I give him a pound. (bump fists). I notice his hands are deformed. his missing some fingers, others are stuck together, like they were partially melted. He introduces me to his girlfriend, whos hands are equally deformed in the same way. I just figured they had birth defects while in the dream. but looking back on it now, it makes sense. If my hands appear deformed/weird in dreams, why wouldn't other peoples? I had never looked at someone els's hands in a dream.

I also remember walking on a big balcony with a lot of people, overlooking an indoor waterpark. This was near the end of the lucid. so I went looking for an attractive girl. woke up before I found one though.

I wish I remembered more form this lucid. but, i hung with my neice and nephew when i woke, and visited my grandparents today too, so I didnt have any time to record it.
I know it was long, and cool though. because I was happy about it when I woke up.

It sucks how you can forget lucids as easily as regular dreams if you don't write them down.

yeah, I didn't even think about how it might have been the same reason my own hands seem messed up, until I posted that dream. I even thought about that part of the dream a couple times during the day, and still thought he was just a DC with a birth defect, lol.

This dream started off as a movie. Someones moving in to a new apartment. I can see shots of a dirty, empty room that's being repainted.
There are painted words on the wall, over where the bed will be. They say something close to, "my sHIP is always close to CCTV". Im not sure if the word 'ship is right'. but I remember the word 'hip' was in whatever that word may have been, and it was capitalized. Then the scene cuts to a the guy whos moving in, sitting in this room, and his girlfriend, who was britany murphy walks in. The guy has a bottle of prescription pills, that are a "delayer", meaning, when he had sex or masturbated while on these pills, the pills would delay the sensation of orgasm, and all the sensation would hit him in a rush so long after finishing. He didn't know how many to take, so he took 2.
which was clear to me, (I was watching everything from the point of view of the camera, if this would have been a movie. and my angle/POV was changing like a movie switching to different angles). that pills was too many. This part of the dream was almost funny.


He soon left the apartment after a fight with britany murphy, and went to a bar. while he was at the bar, there was a murder in a house next to the bar. I can't recall the exact details, but some guy killed a man, and then fixed his sink for some reason, but the reason maade sense. this then, framed the guy who took the pills. One of the pill eaters friends
recorded himself talking about the pills the guy took, and gave it to the FBI as evidence, trying to get him arrested. He showed up by the bar with an FBI agent, right as britany murphey was driving past to find her boyfriend. my POV breifly cut to inside her car as she drove past. she was saying "where the fuck is he??".
This is the first time I'm in this dream, and no longer just watching.
Im walking out of the bar with the main charecter. (guy who took pills).
and we see his friend whos trying to get him arrested with the FBI agent. they get out of a car and approach us.

The friend is mad, yelling stuff like, "thats him, thats the guy with the drugs." He hands the FBI agent, who a tall black man wearing a blue windbreaker with the letters 'FBI' on back in a yellow font, the video camera. The FBI agent watches it, and turns to the guy with the pills and says hes free to go, that the video tape doesnt prove shit.
The footage on the camera was just the main charecters friend saying shit about his friend has drugs. hardly eveidence, and not something the FBI cares about anyway. The friend who was trying to get him arrested is mad at this and yells a lot about it.

While there, the FBI agent finds the dead body of the man who was murdered in the house next to the bar. and because the sink was fixed, it meant that the main charecter, must have done it. (made sense in the dream) even though he was framed. he was arrested.

Im back at the apartment the dream started in, sitting on a bed talking to brittany murphy. shes asking me about what's going on with her boyfriend. I tell her, although Im very hesitant to divulge information to her. I speak a little in code. she asks me the name of who really commited the murder, and I say 4 different names. however, the first three names I said were the right answer. The real killers first, middle, and last name were firt names, like John Bob Henry, or something.

Then the main charecter walks in, he was released. they found the real killer. Him and brittany murphy talk. I find he actually just got out of a marrige, and doesnt really care about brittany murphy and breaks up with her. Thats the last time I see either of them in the dream.

Im at the Police station to talk to the real killer.
Right as im walking in, theyre letting him go. I run up to him and throw him against the wall. Hes a really weird, passive, dead eyed type of dude.
on His left hand is covered in a tattoo, that looks like information. including a couple of weird looking signs, and a mushroom cloud.
I realize hes a mass murder that theyve been trying to catch for a long time. Im pissed theyre letting him go, and tell them not to.
While Im holding him against the wall and looking at the tatto on his hand, I notice, along with other cops in the room (im now a cop in the dream), that I have similar tattos on my hand. They try to arrest me now, but I explain the tattoos. bout how theyre information tracking this guy, and how his tattoo is the key to decoding everything hes done, and eberything he's going to/ The don't listen, and let him go. I go after him, with my partner in the police force, whos my friend brandon in real life.

Were all in a big empty room, and me and brandon start beating the shit out of him. Brandons breaking chairs on his back, and im smacking him in the face with a metal pipe. He's just taking the asswhiping. then he stands straight up, and laughs, and pulls out his own weapons. He pulls nun-chucks out of his coat jacket, theyre longer than normal nun-chucks. they have for pieces of wood, instead of two. then he grabs a chair as armor. I grab a chiar too for a shield. We keep fighting him, although it's much harder to hit himnow, and hes hitting us too. it suddenly became a fair fight.
Then a girl walks in, who i guess is his assassin/assitant. I go after her and say, "man, im gonna beat this bitches ass!", right after I say that, she throws a handful of ninja stars. I grab cutting board, to block them, but miss, and three of 4 of them stab into me, and stay in my flesh. She keeps throwing more, and I keep getting hit by them.

Now were all 4 fighting in really close proxcimity. The guy with the tattoed hands now has a spear, and 2 long knifes. Were wrestle on to the ground and he stabs me in my hands, and stomach. I get one of his knifes from him and stab him in the head saying something like, "you're sone. right to your head" as I do. He dies. The ninja girl then trys to plunge a spear thru brandon, whos fallen on top of me, so it will kill him, and go thru and kill me. Right as she does, I thrust a spear up into her neck and kill her, although her spear has gone thru brandons head, and into mine too. she's dead, and while dying, she says whats happening physicaly. stuff about how her brains shutting down, and shes getting "spuds" in her brain.
I realize brandons the only one whos going to live, his injury lefty him temporarily paralyzed, and unable to speak or move. I know Im going to die from the stab wounds, and the wound to my head. I tell brandon I love him, and that im sorry as he lays there.
Then I feel myself start to die. as im dying, a sentance runs thru my head like the voices you hear when close to falling a sleep. it says,
"the commerce sinks, but it seems logical, logical, logical, logical"
everytime the word "logical was said, it was a lower tone then the last time. It went from a normal voice, to sounding like it was pitched waay down the last time. I felt myself dying, and then im laying in bed awake.
What was weird, is that the feeling of dying in the dream, was the actual feeling of waking up. and i realized it as soon as i did wake up, and was laying there in bed having not even opened my eyes up.

it was violent etc... but this shit was awesome man. Im glad I didnt become lucid. It was better to experiance this like it was real, and not know what was going to happen next.

dream 1...

Im in a resteraunt with the family. at the table next to us is a group of girls my age. I order some huge burger, and go to the bathroom. I already feel full, like I need to throw up, and I think I do in the bathroom. I walk back to the table and my burgers there, shits huge. I dare the girls at the table next to us and to order one and see if they can eat it, they laugh.
I start talking to one of the girls, I used to go to highschool with her.
The whole time were talking, im eating this burger, so I always have food in my mouth. When everyones getting ready to go, so turn to me and says, you're really cool, and funny. I want you to come home with me.
I pause for a second and then say yes. after I say yes, she says "I thought you had a french accent?"...we both realized it just sounded like it because I always had food in my mouth when I spoke to her.. We went our seperate ways, lol. I walked out of this resturaunt and felt like I needed to throw up from eating so much. I spit peices of of puke out while walking to the car.

Somewhere I meet up with my ex-girlfriend Kelsey. (second time ive seen her in my dreams, need to RC when I see her).
Were hanging out, talking, and walking back to my place. I get the feeling were dating again, and really dig her in the dream. We get to my aprtment, and I ask her to wait downstairs while I shower. my families at my apartment, so she hangs with them while I shower and change clothes. I come back downstairs after a long time, and she sleeping on the couch. I wake her up, and grab an ipod and speakers, and we go sit on the porch and listen to music. thats all I remember.

I'm with some friends, and were in my neighborhood. A guy walks by me and says some people are about to get laid out (killed).
For some reason, were about to break into this guys house to steal something, I can't remember what it was though. Im outside watching for the guy who lives there. I yell to them thru the window asking if they have it yet, and to hurry up because he'll be home any minute. They leave, and I walk off too. I see that guy who told me someone was going to get laid out earlier. He points to this person with three doegs up the sidewalk from us. I tell him one of those isn't a dog, but some weird monkey thing. he argues that its a dog. I tell him to look at it's hands. The dog/monkey keeps pointing towards the sky, and clearly has human like fingers. the other guy sees it, and agrees its some weird monkey. thing was freaky looking, was big tall, about as tall as me standing straight up.
Out of nowhere, this thing charges me. It runs up on me, and gives me a hockey check, knocking me clear off my feet. thing was strong. I get up, and it charges me again, knocking me off my feet once more.
I have no idea what happened next in this dream, but somehow I ended up in outerspace, except my neighborhood is there too. Im laying on the sidewalk infront of my apartment watching the stars. I realize my neighborhood is on some diffeent orbit, and that were circling back towards earth, but were still incredibly far from it. shit was weird.

dream 4...

I'm on some huge ship from the middle ages. it's the queen of Englands ship, and shes there, although I can't see her, only hear her voice, my family is with me. She's showing us torture devices on the ship. one of them is an extremely deep pit they drop people into. we get on a smother ship, and leave the big one. after a minute, I realize the smaller ship, is tiny, and were not actually on it, but next to it. they drop the little anchor which weighs almost nothing. this is the first time I see other people, or myself for that matter, because the view changes, and I see how small the ship is. Were actually on some kind of tour. They have special shoes we all need to wear. were standing on the water, I grab size 13 shoes and see a floatation device to sit down on while I put on the shoes. as soon as I sit down on the floatation device, it tips backwards and I fall into the water. I drop one of the shoes and it starts to sink fast. I can't grab it, then I start to sink down really fast. I swim towards the surface as hard as I can, but at this point I don't even know which the direction the surface is. the water is pitch black. I think maybe the coat im wearing is weighing me down, but can't take it off. I realize I'm too far down now to even reach the surface. I realize theres something about this water that makes it suck you down, and makes it hard, if not impossible to swim back to the surface. something about magneticaly charged particles. I think about Kelsey (meaning, I thought back to the dream I had before this one. unless this was the same dream and I just didn't know it), about how its going to be weird for her, that she saw me today for the first time in a long time, and now she'll find out i died today too. then I think about my family back on the surface, and what theyre going thru right now after watching me go under and not come back up. I decide to try to swim for the surface once more, but I'm paralized. (I think I sensed my real body at this point, which was in SP, because I couldnt move anything). I give in to the fact that Im going to die. I ask god to watchover me, and I let it happen. I feel myself dying, and then Im awake in RL. same as the dream form a couple nights ago. The feeling of dying in the dream, was the feeling of waking up from the dream. spooky fucking feeling though. i wouldnt be suprised if thats actually what dying feels like.

Dream 4...wow! that is rather frightning. Usually I wake in SP after a death-situation like that too..Hrmm.can't say I'vebeen on the Queen's ship ever..that must have been interesting...I know what you mean about the views switching and everything seeming a bit different..that always happens to me.

I also noticed that you recalled a previous dream within the next one..I've noticed that to, myself...it's amazing how bits of memory are able to carry through but hardly ever awareness like reality:P

I'm on a stage with brandon and james, and were freestyling for what looked like a highschool. I said some line about "smacking your girlfriend with a piping hot steak", lol. Afterwards I learned it was a competition, and we won. I went to claim the prize, and it ended up being a magazine and some imformational pamphlets. I was let down.

I'm outside in a feild with my friend brandon, were trying to make it to some house. Suddenly meteors start raining from the sky. I've been here before. I remember this exact thing happening in the dream, and think were goin gto die. I strat feriously dodging the meteors. we make it to the house, and some bombs in the basement go off, we leave and run to a different house. were in a castle, and theres now a group of us. we have to get something before this building blows up too. I have this long spear, that unloacks all these little dorrs on the wall. except some of the doors hold government/presidential secrets, and i cant open those.
We head upstairs after finding nothing. and a bomb goes off in the basement. it sends shrapnel up thru all the floors, and kills some of my friends. I realize the whole building is going to blow up. everyone starts running. I run the opposite direction of everyone im with, and realize im running next to George Bush Sr. I think I must be running the wrong way. because i dont want to go anywhere he does. we get into a huge courtroom. theyre trying him for high crimes. I sneak past everyone, and leave thru the "innocent" door.

I was standing on a balcony once and did three RC's, all of which failed. I couldn't bring myself to jump off, even tho I was 99% sure it was a dream. I had to climb back over the balcony and take the stairs.

haha. yeah, I had a lucid a while back where I jumped from a skyscraper.
I did a bunch of RCs, all of which passed. I even jumped in the air and floated, and still couldn't bring myself to do it. only after I watched my friend jump off, did I. an ounce of doubt can stop you, as it should. cuz if you werent dreaming, you probably would have woken up in the hospital.
which would be pretty funny actually. to think you're dreaming, jump from your roof, and wake up in the hospital. i think i'd be confused to say the least.

Yea, mine was from a really tall high-rise, like a skyscraper too. I think that was the problem. I know by now that if I think I'm dreaming, I am, but there was that little bit of doubt....

Cool that you remembered that, because that is one of the strangest RC's, I think.

keep forgetting lucids!

All I remember from last night, is looking at my hands, noticing theyre messed up, and realizing im dreaming. then I remember flying, a lot. once over the ocean off the coast, and once thru the mountains at night. I was flying fast, and high. Even felt the G forces when I'd swoop towards the ground. had no limitations with flying. which is rare for me. but thats all I remember.

Do you make yourself wake up and write down your lucids right afterward? What helped me tremendously with recalling my last lucid was to stop and remember everything while still in the dream. That way, when I woke up about ten seconds later, it was all fresh.

I can see why it'd be hard to stop and think, though, while soaring through the sky. :) Sounds like it was at least a lot of fun.

Nah. That lucid wasn't my last dream of the night. and If I woke up from it, I don't remember that happening. I was just laying in bed after I woke up thinking about what I just dreamt. the last dream of the night wasn't a lucid, which is why i only remember tiny parts of it. (the lucid, i mean)

I should keep a notebook by my bed though, and train myself to stay councious when I wake up in the middle of the night long enough to recall, and write down the dreams I just had.

Yea, you definitely should. Lucids can be lost so easily, and it makes regular recall so much better. Usually I just have to write down a few key words, and the whole dream comes back to me. It doesn't take too much effort. Without it, I wouldn't be able to remember anything.

I'm at some kind of big conference with everyone I went to highschool with.
We're in a hotel room, and people are jumping out of the window, onto a snow covered roof, it's a pretty long drop. People start breaking thru the roof, but keep jumping. I tell them theyre going to get seriously hurt if they don't stop. they keep jumping. I can hear some of the people falling thru numerous floors of the building, after they disapear thru the wreckage of the roof.

Next thing I know, I'm at some banquet with everyone. The food was weird, but didn't taste too bad so I ate it. I'm sitting at a table with some older women. The room goes quiet and gets a little on edge. Someone tells me that the baby is choking. I look over to see 3 adults trying to perform CPR on a dying baby. I run over there, and ask them if they know what theyre doing. they say no. I tell them you have to breath into the babies mouth, and nose at the same time, and to use short breaths because their lungs are a lot smaller than ours. I grab the baby and start to perform CPR in the correct way. It's not working, a different guy tries. He blows into the baby's mouth and nose hard, and I can see it's lungs fill up. I push it's chest to get it breathing, and it does. It starts crying, and taking long, deep breaths.
I wander back to my table in a daze on the verge of crying. Was a really intense situation.

The baby dream sounds overwhelming. Did you find the emotions staying with you some time after waking?

yeah. the fear of losing the baby, and the reliefe of it breathing again, were there for a while after I woke up. that was a weird dream.
I babysat my neice and nephew for a few hours last night. went to sleep about 2 hours after they left, and had that dream.
I think it was brought on by a subcounscious fear of something happening to them. expecially while under my care, as a certain amount of guilt would be there. well, a huge amount of guilt actually. heh.

I'm onstage, performing in a play. although I have no idea what im doing.
Theres maybe 12 other people onstage with me in coustoums. mostly girls in dresses from the 40's. Out of nowhere, the play is being performed in the audiance, and i'm watching it from the stage, with a bunch of other people, who arent in coustumes. All the actors seem to be young teenage boys. I think back to when I did plays and shit like this, and figured they were probably thinking about how they rehearsed so much, but right now theyre actually performing it, and how weird that always is.

The play turns into a business meeting of sorts, no longer theatre. People are biuying and selling houses/property. Theres a big scoreboard, similar to what you would see in an NBA game, keeping track of the lastest bid. In order for someone to come out ahead, they have to kick a soccer ball thru a lazer back at the house theyre trying to buy, and that stops the clock., and locks in their bid.

Next thing I know I'm at the house that's being sold. My nephew is kicking a soccer ball all through the house, which is basicaly one big basement.
It's actually pretty creepy, lots of dark run down rooms, and broken furniture.
My nephew is now trying to drive a remote controlled car thru the lazer to lock in the bid for the house, but can't find it, and we have to back track.
I start thinking about what my nephew is feeling. I think he was probably scared of the basement, but he knew I wouldn't let anything happen to him, so he must feel safe.

We're no longer looking for the lazer beam. Nephew is staning on a dryer in what now looks like my real basement. He slips and falls off, I catch him before he hits the concrete floor. I tell him to give me a kiss and be careful, he says he won't give me a kiss.
My family shows up. Theyre returning out of state. with them, is an old highschool teacher of mine, (who I don't think was actually one of my teachers, i didnt recognize her,) my brother in law, and an ex-girlfriend of mine named Holly. Holly is really clingy and hanging all over me, she brought a girl named Megan W. with her, who asked me out way back in middleschool, and I turned her down. Shes not really saying anything to me, and appears to just be sleeping on a couch.

Holly takes me to a big hole in the wall by the bottom of the stairsteps.
This hole, turns into a huge brightly colored hallway, that leads to a big clothing store in the mall. I keep talking about how cool this is, and ow I never knew it was here. When we arrive at the store, I now recognize the house we came from as Megan W's, and not my own. I feel like I have nothing in common with her, because she's rich enough to have a house connected to this store.

A guy who works at the store is giving us a tour, and telling us why it's connected to the house. (for shipping and insurance reasons).
The tour goes outside, and im no longer with Holly, im with a friend of mine but cant remember who. I think it might have been Issac.
The guy from the store is now giving us a tour of the part of the city the store is in. while walking and talking, another guy is walking towards us, and our tour guide says, "imma pass you off to Lou", without missing a single beat, Lou picks up the tour. I look up toward the roof of a stasium were near, and see the Chicago L train, fly by on a track. I decide were in Chicago.

We start climbing down a huge pile of rubble down to a parking lot, its a long fall so we climb catuiosly. except my friend who i think was Issac. he motos down it and walks on withough me and Lou. Lou starts telling me about he used to watch cooking shows, and always wished people would expose the food for what is was. by cutting into and showing it LOOKS good, but isn't cooked well, or that they would just spit it out and comment on how bad it tasted. I completely agreed wsith him, and told him I used to get into arguments with people about this.

Then I woke up.

Quick note on the dream... When I was in the basement, and my family started showing up, and I saw the ex-girlfriend of mine, I thought to myself, "damn, I wish I wasn't high". This has been happening to me a lot lately. In my dream from the other night where I performed CPR on a baby, I remember walking up to the baby and thinking "man, i wish I wasn't high while doing this".
wonder why this is? anytime i find myself in a situation thats odd, and requires me to be on my P and Q's, in the dream I think about how I wish I wasn;t high right now. Sometimes getting stoned will make me somewhat anti-social. and im not one to go due important shit while im high. usually i get high when I can just sit around the house or the studio and chill.
I think my subcounscious is telling me I need to quit smoking weed for a while. heh.

As a New Year's Resolution, I decided to quit smoking cigarettes. I smoked for 7 years, at least 4 of those being a pack a day. so It hasn't been easy.
Haven't had a cigarette in 7 days now. needless to say, they have been appearing in my dreams. I can't remember a single dream where I smoked a cigarette, until I now that i quit.

I'm hanging out with some old friends, one of them is Calvin.
We recently formed a band (in the dream, not IRL), and have our first gig coming up. We're sitting on my porch talking about it. It's getting dark out, and it's pretty cold. Calvin's rocking a big down winter jacket. Im in my customary hoodie. He offers me a cigarette, and I take it. I don't light it right away. I just hold it, until I forget about it. Which i've done to combat cravings in real life. Then without thinking about it, i pop it in my mouth and light it. I instantly remember I'm trying to quit, and think about tossing it right there, but don't. I give in and smoke it. the sensation of smoking was great. but it made me feel like absolute shit. Suddenly felt really depressed and gloomy, because I had broke, and given in to the addiction once again.

dream 2...

I'm at some girls house. I don't recognize her, but she's beautiful. We're sitting in her room talking. I hold eye contact with her while we talk, and keep getting struck by how pretty she is. Dark shoulder length hair and incredible eyes. I'm mumbling something to her, when I look down and see a pack of Marlboro cigarettes. I immediately reach for them and make a joke about how my conversation skills are about to skyrocket now that I have my smokes. I light one, she leaves the room, and I sit there smoking.
Somehow, that girl, turned into a different girl, and ex of mine. although that didn't register in the dream. My sister walks into the room, and I notice I have 2 blunts that I just rolled sitting out, so I cover them up. my sister leaves again. not sure why she appeared at all.
I need to use the bathroom, so I do. The bathroom looks more like a basement than a bathroom. it's big and open, the toilet is way oversized, the shower is simply a shower head coming out of the wall, with some curtains that run along a track hanging from the ceiling for privacy.
I piss, and go to wash my hands. there's some weird blue soap there, that seems to dry my hands out while I use it.

Later in this dream I go to use the bathroom again. it's laid out the same, except the sink it facing a different direction. when I use that blue soap again, I hear a voice start talking about the spiritual properties of this soap, and how certain religious sects used it for such and such reasons...

thats all I remember.

I know I had some much cooler dreams last night, but can't remember anything about them short of abstract feelings and movements. hard to describe.

:banana: Good idea! It's very hard, but you can do it! Lots of other people have and you can too. It will be infintely easier now than it will be twenty years from now. If you done it since New Year's, that's great! You are saving yourself so much expense and suffering over the years, I can't even begin to say. Sorry to sound so dramatic, but it's true.

Now you've got a wonderful dream-sign too. Smoking is a dream-sign for me; I quite 20 years ago and I still smoke in dreams. Do RC's every time you think about smoking, and remind youself that you will do them every time you do smoke (which will only be in dreams).

thanks for the encouragement. Yeah, I had my last cigarette when the ball dropped on '07. and if all goes well, there will be no looking back. well, with smoking I suppose theres always going to be looking back, just no going back.

and I will for sure use smoking as a dream sign. I've been telling myself since the day I quit, that if I find myself smoking, i'm dreaming. hasn't stuck yet, but i assume this will be a very useful dream sign for me in the future.
