Back in School

I'm with a friend of mine, can't really remember which one, but I just know that it's a close friend and we're back at our old high school! But things are really different, the school looks really magestic and maybe ten (yes ten) times bigger! We end up inside, and at first we're at the reception (which looks like a clinic) and we're waiting for someone/something...

After a while I'm walking around and somehow end up at the last floor (our school only had 3 floors, but in this dream it was maybe 10 or something), and I'm in this cubic room which looks very gothic with lots of bookshelfs around me. In the middle of the room there is like a fence surrounding an area, and in this little area a kid is running with some teacher (it seems that i know that teacher, but can't at this point say who it was) running after him!

They both dissapear into another room, I try to follow them but end up into a totally different scene.
Can't remember much more, I think that I woke up shortly after that...

Crazy Ride

I'm at the local gym (this dream was quite long before this, but it's all i remember for now) and I get this phone call from someone telling me to get my ass home ASAP!
I rush out of the gym and into my car, (it's evening or maybe in the middle of the night) I start the car and drift away like a mad man!

The experince was quite cool, but I was also very scared. The car almost flipped twice and I was driving everywhere but the road! I was going very fast and suddenly it's not night anymore, the sun is shining and there are many more cars around me. I'm driving on some highway. As I'm driving (slower and more normal now) I see the cops on the side of the road, and they pull me over...
I get out of the car and start yelling at them, screaming that I'm in a hurry and that they're gonna be sorry (or something).

This gets them mad and they start to shoot at me! But out of nowhere a friend of mine pulls over and tells me to get into the car. I jump in the back and he steps on the gas. So we're running from the cops and suddenly I have this rifle in my hand and start to shoot back at them through the back window, but I can't really see them (it's like im seeing myself in third person, for a second, shooting at the cops).

After that crazy ride the scene changes into something completely else, and I remember that I was frustrated about not knowing why I was in a hurry home and that I never got there. Woke up shortly after...

The Dogs of Lucidity

...I'm being chased by two dogs (bulldogs i believe. they were both black, ugly and scary) outside my house on the street. There's a friend of mine yelling "RUN! They're closing in on you, RUN!" and I'm running my ass off! Usually when I try to run in dreams it all goes very slow, but this time I was running really fast. The dogs were still closing in on me though and suddenly I fell (flat face) on the ground! Then I remember thinking "No, this is just a dream! It's not real, can't be real!" and voilá, I'm lucid for the first time (that i can remember). I just stood up again and the dogs were gone, everyone was gone and the street was empty. All of the stuff I've read about LD came into mind then.. I remember thinking "YES! Now I can try if all this LD-stuff really works".

The first thing I tried was to fly, I jumped off the ground and started to float (i was starting to get really excited), the floating part was way cool! The next thing I thought of, was that I wanted to visit my old neighbourhood. I wanted to fly over there, but I never got the chance because as soon as I thought of it I was there, still floating though! This all made me really excited and I felt that I was about to wake up.. which happend like seconds later!

I remember that I was really happy when I woke up.
"Finally! I did it, and it really works! Thank god for those ugly dogs that chased me!"

Ah its such a great feeling flying for the first time, you seem to have gotten more out of it then I did.

Thanks, those are just some old dreams that I felt like writing down before I get to the more interesting LD's! Yea the dog-lucid-dream was great, I'm glad that I managed to fly the first time I was lucid, maybe that's what made me more interested and got me where I am today
btw, your DJ is a good read too!

Dirt is the answer

...Me and three of my best friends A., W., and S. are walking along this asphalt road. It seems like it's in the middle of the summer and I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Far ahead of us, the road goes up to a hill. We see some traffic up there, far in the horizon. As we have our conversation (can't remember about what) there's a big car crash up in that hill (far ahead, can barely see it). All three of us go "Whoa!".

Then S. stops us all, and says "Wait, follow me, I know how to prevent that from happening to us too!", he then turns and goes off the road. We start to follow him..
The grass is really high at the side of the road (i remember that i was worried about snakes/ticks/etc.) but we managed to get through the grass without any problems. Beyond the grass was a field which was quite dry and there was sand/dirt everywhere.

S. stops at this field and then bends over and picks upp some dirt and starts throwing it randomly around while he claps the ground (sounds crazy i know). Without any questions the rest of us start doing the same thing, (and i remember feeling in the dream that this strange ceremony would keep us from having any accidents) I was picking this dirt/sand up and kind of throwing it around like a shaman or something, it felt so right and normal in the dream.

After that weird procedure we somehow ended up at what I think was W.'s apartment.
He had lots of clothes on the floor (very strange clothes) and I started to pick some of them up and trying them out. I think it was evening and we were preparing for some party. D. was also there and I picked some clothes out for him, it was a really weird-looking black shirt with silverish stripes all over it and a pair of silver-jeans which I thought looked great with that shirt. D. was happy as well about my choice (lol)

Can't remember much more from that dream. It was all a very long dream even before we walked on that road, too bad I can't remember it!

Exploring the Dream World

...(I can't remember much before this, sorry!) I'm in my old apartment, and my dad is there with me. We're standing in the hallway, and he has this paper in his hands. Suddenly I'm lucid, for no reason just like that. Ok shit, this is a dream! As soon as I realized that, he dissapeared and I was alone in the apartment. First of all I told myself to stay calm. Then the second thing that came to my mind was that I needed to explore! Just take a look around and be in this "dream world".

So I started to just walk around, touching and looking closely at various objects around me... Then I opened the door to the balcony and stood there for a while. I remember that I was extremely surprised about how real everything felt and looked. After a while I was no longer worried about waking up, it felt so natural to just be lucid and in a dream. Almost like I accepted it to be some sort of parallell world! Then, as I stood there on the balcony, I felt the urge to just jump out and fly away! But I stopped myself for a second, and thought "wait now, are you 100% sure that it is a dream?".

So I took a look at my right hand (this is my usual RC) and started to count the fingers, as always, the moment I came to the last finger new ones started to grow out! Then I knew for sure, this was a dream. I got onto the balcony rail, and just jumped out with my arms open! But I didn't fly away, like I first thought I would.. instead I kind of gently floated down to the ground. I wasn't really dissapointed or anything, I just accepted the situation and went on with my exploration.

I decided that I wanted to meet a DC, (I remembered reading someones dream journal a fews days earlier, think it was some moderators, and he tried to meet some DC's in his LD. So I thought that would be a nice mission when I get lucid) so I just kind of yelled "I wanna meet some dream characters!" and I started to look around for someone... Suddenly I noticed a tiny little man, standing on my right side, next to a fence that was there. He wasn't taller then to my knees maybe, and he looked really weird. I bent down and took a closer look, I thought for a second that I saw him breathing and that he made a little move. But it was actually only a doll, a strange-looking doll, with a gray/dirty outfit. The whole thing kind of freaked me out a bit, because he looked so alive at the first glance...

But I wouldn't let that scare me, I just shook my head and thought "oh well, it's a dream, weird stuff is common here!" So I went on (I was still outside my old apartment, the locations and the enviroment were very realistic) but I still wanted to meet some people! I started to walk to the parking lot, on my way there I thought to myself once again how extremely real this is and that all this is in my head. I also remember feeling very happy and confident about my lucidity!

When I finally got to the parking lot I once again shouted out "let me meet some people, please!" and as soon as I finished that sentence I saw a girl and two guys walking on the street, further ahead, just minding there own business. I was glad that I wasn't alone in this "world" so I started to run to them, yelling "stop! wait!". I ran to them, and stopped right infront of them. They stood there, kind of surprised, looking at me.

So I think I said to them something like "you know, this is only a dream!" and the reaction from one of the guys was strange.. He looked at me, very happy and excited! "Wow! really? that's so cool!" I then went on, "Yea, you can do whatever you like in this world" Try flying!" So this guy looks at me "Ok, I will" and then tries to "jump off" the ground... He fails, over and over again...

Then all three of them look at me, and start yelling "Lier! You don't know anything about this! Let's go, let's leave this freak alone!" I tried to explain to them that it's true and so.. but I never got the chance, they left in a hurry! After that the dream morphed into my current room, and I think I lost lucidity and woke up shortly after...
