I just woke up. I was listening to Hemi-Sync's Lucid Dreaming DVD and taking a nap. I fell asleep, and had...
The First ExperienceSuddenly, i was walking through the hall in my fraternity house. I walked out of my room, turned right into the middle hall, and right when i did that, i don't know why, but it CLICKED -- i said to myself, wait a second, i'm dreaming!

While walking i noticed everything was blurry and my senses were...eh...dull. But i tried a reality check -- tried to push my finger through my palm. My palm felt strange, like i could feel each individual muscle being pushed. That didn't work, but i didn't give up. I plugged my nose and i could still breathe -- this one was a REALLY STRANGE feeling to have! So i got happy and jumped in joy! My jump was in slow motion both up and down. What a great feeling!
So then in my state of excitement, for some reason i decided to see if my hands could go through the wall. I lightly tapped the wall and it left huge knuckle indents :)
Then i don't know why, but i started losing it. The strangest feeling was the split second before i woke up, knowing i was sleeping, feeling my sleeping body, and yet still in my dream.
INTERPERTATION:
No dream meaning behind this, but this DOES count as my FIRST EVER CONTROLLED DREAM! Why?
1.) I was lucid
2.) I was consciously aware that i was dreaming
3.) I did reality checks, which i have never done in any other dream
4.) Usually in dreams i don't really think; i'm mindless and have no thoughts. In this, i could think clearly!
5.) I consciously decided that i was going to do the stuff i did.
Hemi-Sync Lucid Dreaming worked great for me! Or atleast, it helped me practice and achieve results. It helped me clarify my intentions, get into Focus 10, their relaxed/mind awake position, and then finally have a short dream.
I only wish i wouldn't have woken up!
[EDIT]
I now realize why i woke up: when i decided to put my arms through the wall, i was unsure about it, on the verge of being afraid what would happen. It was a mixture between fear and curiosity. My hands didn't go through the wall, and i felt like my brain rejected something so unnatural. Doing that, i made myself wake up.
[/EDIT]
GOAL COMPLETED:
To Achieve Dream Control
WISHES FOR NEXT TIME:
Next time i'm going to rub my hands together so it's not so blurry anymore.
My senses were dulled, i need to find a way to fix that?
Also, i'm not going to cram so much action in a couple seconds' worth of time -- that must have overloaded my brain. I'm going to relax, concentrate and stabilize the dream.
